Nice video footage. Thank you. They should allow traffic to enter/exit new highway at northern end of new bridge going both directions at the by building a box culvert bridge that takes traffic from A2 old road.
I think the prepared ground you asked about is a road to the underpass for local traffic . It is so great to see all the regular updates especially to us abroad. We look forward with great anticipation and pleasure of your professional production s. Keep up the great work .You deserve some rewards.Stay bless and safe God bless.
This prepared ground could also be a n entrance to the new motorway towards kingston.there is no exit from the motorway to link to the prepared ground.
@@geographyjawade6655 I just drove past it again and if the alignment at the existing end of the highway continues without any deviation, it will cut though the southern half of the existing round-about and line up perfectly with the new bridge approach ramp.
I don't see they building an exit to Glenmiur rd tho......I'm wondering if there will be one after the roundabout is removed from the Finnished section.
The under pass close to the bridge go to connect the New exit for maypen , After you come off the new bridge that's where the exist for maypen going to be .

There is a gun range at the end of the May Pen Highway roundabout. So there wont be an access to gun range from that section when the extension of the new bridge connect and the roundabout remove. Hence that area that you asking abotut where they clear the land that will be new road that will take you to the gun range.
@ Roy Christie, if you have been watching my channel you would see that I am covering all the Highways, St.Thomas, Clarendon and Manchester, and will be checking out Portland soon. Thanks for viewing, I appreciate your time watching, and if there is a specific area you want me to check out, let me know.
@@droneviewja: Remember the government purchase the land from farmers? Several months ago before they built the highway you used to see a lot of cattle in that area
It seems like there will be no soft shoulder on this highway. And I also think the way they build that drainage system, will only flood that road community when it rains.

The earthworks shown at minute 3.00 might be the new May Pen access as th roundabout at the west end of the existing highway will likely be abandoned.
I was thinking the same

@@ivorcameron9558 so will the roundabout be demolished or remain as is....?
Nice 1 brother👍
I think that road u asked about is the road to go to the structures I see where the buildings are and sand hill being fenced around

If you are going to or coming from Glenmuir or East of Maypen you would be able to enter/exit at new bridge.
There will be an exit for May Pen.

The will have exit for May Pen, will have to create access to that road to the range.
The water I see settling on one side of the highway do u know if they will build a run off to the river so water doesn't settle there?
Next time I go out there, I will track that water
It looks to me like there was always a swamp there
Do us a favor and go and make a video on what's going on with the piece of Highway in St Thomas that has no end in sight
Note it is only some sections is way way behind and it is the morant Bay to prospect port morant

8:27 to the end of your video is a cattle pass
No, just wasted land.
