Siobhan? She's an odd character. I had no idea she existed until we saw her in the quest. No hints of her existence in promotional material whatsoever that I know of. I wonder when she'll be playable.

And I do pride myself on being very… *very* observant.” You know, I *would* call BS and claim that she must be cold reading if she wasn’t giving me flashbacks to one of my own children. Let me tell you a story. A man wasted his potential and spent all his time eating or slacking off instead of training. This made many of his peers angry because they often needed all the help they could get and he always ran from his responsibilities. Then, decades later, he had a daughter who he’d done a sub-par job raising and she wanted to reach her full potential as a warrior to spite him. This girl was Shion and she was going to do what her father couldn’t just so she could rub it in his face. There was one problem however. While Shion’s talent with bladed weapons was beyond extraordinary she was lacking in unarmed combat and didn’t like how lethal swords tended to be. She firmly believed they she should have a way to spare people’s lives if she wanted and spent a lot of time trying to figure something out. Then she got an idea that no other martial artist would think of: going to medical school. Not only would this teach her how to save people’s lives but it’d also give her insight into anatomy. Where can she cut to incapacitate someone without so much as maiming them? To cripple them for a given length of time? Shion learned all this and more. But then she realized that she could go further. Much, *much* further. Shion’s Discerning Eye is a skill gained through years of studying medicine to use as combat. With this she’s able to see how people’s bodies have changed over their lives and how it’d correspond to their powers and skills. Hands that have spent an abnormally long time around heat? They must know fire magic. Someone’s body looks unnatural in some way? She can determine how it’s separate from a normal human’s, whether it’s a complex magical disguise or amateur cosmetic surgery. She even can figure out someone’s skillset from their musculature and bone structure. All this abs more comes from a Pure Hearted girl’s desire to minimize the damage from her attacks.
