In this video, we have depicted our travel experience by Kashmir Local bus from Parimpora bus stand in Srinagar to Bandipora town which is the largest town near Wular Lake and main town in Bandipora district.
We came to the Parimpora bus stand in a winter morning (in December 2022). There we had some tea with Kashmiri Roti. Later at around 8:30 am we took a local bus to Bandipora. After the bus takes Srinagar-Bandipora State Highway, it goes by the Jhelum river. It crosses the river at Sumbal. Once the bus reaches Safapora, Kashmiri Himalayan mountain range come into vicinity. Then a place comes named as Ajas. At Garoor and Lowdoha, the road passes by the Wular Lake. After we crossed Nadihal, we reached Bandipora bus stand.
The whole journey gives a wonderful experience of scenic indulgence which includes, Jhelum River, Kashmir Valley, Himalayan mountains of Kashmir and one of the largest fresh water lakes in South Asia, i.e. Wular Lake.
