As parasocial as it is -- you and Jenna were great escapes for me during so many troubling times in my life, leaving my abusive home, my dads passing, etc. Im thriving, working in a career path I love, and traveling the world. And I do think having yalls videos and streams to calm me, helped so much with that.

I think this is just adorable, not parasocial. As long as you remember that these people are strangers to you and not your friends, enjoying the parts of their lives that they choose to share with you and relating to them in positive ways can be so beneficial to your mental health, and it's probably one of the best things about the internet. We can connect with others in a way that's both not personal (in a social way) but very personal to us. I bet Jenna and Julian would love to know you are able to do this.

Jenna was like a fairy Godparent to a lot of us. That may seem like a silly thing to say, but the truth is she represented such freedom and joyfulness and sheer joie de vivre . I respect her decisions. But we still miss her terribly. 😢
Agreed. I go to her last video once in a while just to leave a comment, and while there I always scroll through the last two weeks of comments, and after all of these years she's still getting daily comments from people who miss her. Although it has slowed down some. So many people miss her.
in a lot of ways, she felt like the older sister I never had, since I was the oldest child of my family and the only girl. :) I gained so much wisdom/insight about life from her. I miss her dearly, and I hope she's thriving with the dogs

I was a fan of Jenna's in high school and quickly became a fan of yours as soon as you box jumped your way onto my screen. You guys got me through the roughest times in my life. You've inspired me so much, I can never fully articulate how greatful I am. You saved my life back in 2020 and have inspired me to persue my dreams. Now I am applying for college to get a degree in filmography and digital madia. I'm deaf/hard of hearing and it means the world to me when big content creators add them to their videos. They're so much more enjoyable when I can actually understand what's being said. Most big RUclipsrs I watch don't ever do this so it's always a real treat when one of them finally does. So thank you so much ❤️

I started watching Jenna around her early RUclips days, and when you came along, it was very quickly obvious that the two of you reduced the burdens of life the other had and built a strong foundation from the start. To see that the two of you are happy surrounded by piles of dogs and a jungle's worth of plants lets me know that your lives are exactly what you wanted them to be.
I miss Jenna, as does a lot of the internet I'm sure, and I miss your cooking videos, but I'm fully in support of growing and evolving and doing what's best for your health and well-being. If you're not changing, you're not allowing yourself to have the human experience we're meant to. Change is scary but necessary to live. I also feel like we probably all have a little in common with your monstera- periods of dormancy and stagnation before growth starts anew.
My point is- you look and sound great, you're still as authentic as ever, and it's okay to pause and reevaluate the things you want to share with the world, especially as your interests shift and change with time and experience. Love to you, love to Jenna, and love to the pups- littles and bigs alike. 💜

I totally get how intense and deep the interests can get. It's like falling in love with learning about something new. I used to be ashamed of my ever changing interests, and that I was always so intensely obsessed with something, but I now realize that being like this makes you into a super versatile, creative, broadly knowledgeable and practically capable person who can definitely be helpful when the zombie apocalypse strikes.
All that to say, I will probably enjoy any topic you bring to us, Julien, because I just love seeing people being passionate about something, and you share your perspective on things in such a unique, creative and aesthetic way. Your style + racing is gonna be an awesome combo. Let's go! 💪

Just put down my last dog hours ago, he was in a pack of three in our house, and he was the last one with us. He was 15 and his health was declining, he was sent off with ice cream and some french fries beforehand so he was happy. The dog content through the years has meant the world!❤

Hey Julien! (+ Jenna and the dogs!) I still remember the day I saw you on Jenna's channel. I was around 10 or so (Im 23 now!) when I first discovered Jenna. Her videos especially the ones containing Mr Marbles took a lot of lonely or hard nights and provided a fun and happy place to retreat to. Seeing you guys together was always a hoot, your chemistry with Jenna and the dogs was always a wonderful bundle of joy and chaos. The Virgo and Aries dynamic of the century! I just wanted to let you know that you will always have a lot of us out there thankful for you and your streams, as well as your wife and the positive effects you both had together on us all
My life is currently falling apart at the seams, but seeing this little video from you is so nice and comforting. I totally get the change in interests. For years I was super into cars and modifying cars. Time has passed and now I’m into reptile and amphibian keeping! I’m loving it so far. Amazing critters and I adopted most of them from shelters!
