And to answer Samantha's query... yes! We definitely can and do send multiple genres in one box. I actually love mixing it up for my subscribers because you never know what they are in the mood for at a given moment. So I love to do a bit of variety in my book selection.

Being an only child, every book that I have read has been worth it. Books were my vacations & the characters, my friends. Even now that my children are both grown, I am once again all alone.
I love Reading. My fav books of all time are the Harry Potter books. - 1 it got my boys reading when they came out and 2 it is my books that I can clear my racing brain with. I the books that I don't read are books that have alot of "smut" in or based around the smut.
Harry Potter turned my son into a reader, too. Now he's grown & shares books with me when he reads one he thinks I'll like. ❤

My favorite books are anything by Anne Lamott... She's so good. Worst book? Man. Someone once told me I had no obligation to finish a novel... and it just liberated me, so I don't actually finish every book I start anymore. Isn't that amazing?

Favorite: Steinbeck’s “The Winter of Our Discontent.”
Favorite book I read this year: “Demon Copperhead,” which was like a reimagining of Dickens’ “David Copperfield.”
Least Favorite Book: I didn’t love the writing in “The Notebook” a whole lot, but really enjoyed the movie. 🤷🏻♀️

I love Box of Books. I used your code. My first box was for a birthday present for my friend. I forgot to switch genres and got a few books I didn't care for, but gave them to my granddaughter, so all is good. I love all the goodies I get with the books!
We have a personal library at home of over 2100 books, we love to read in our house!
Best book would be have to be To kill a Mockingbird, and for worst book, I’ll go with one that I recently attempted to read, The Measure.

I love middle school books. Being a middle school teacher. The Bible is my favorite book of all time. A book I truly enjoyed and loved to read was , The Lovely War” by Julie Berry. I also really love memoirs and “Somebody’s Daughter “ by Ashley C. Ford was definately a book I still think about and truly admire. A book I struggled with was , The invisible life of Addie Larue. It was ok.

Favorite genre is Mystery/Thriller. I really enjoy Patricia Cornwall, John Grisham, Janet Evanovich and J.A. Jance. Worst book I read was HIGHLY recommended to me, but I hated it... Verity by Colleen Hoover. MAJOR ICK!!
So my all time fave book is The Outsiders , I also love all the Harry Potter books.
My favorite is Strangers by Dean Koontz. Love suspense, thriller and horror
Some more recent favorites would have to be The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides, The Spy Coast by Tess Gerritsen and The Taste of Ginger by Mansi Shah. I can’t say that I’ve read any books recently, that I thought were a waste of my time. On the occasion that I start a book that I don’t like, I usually just stop reading it. Not that you requested this, but some of my favorite authors or book series would be Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series, Patricia Cornwell’s Kay Scarpetta series and Brianna Labuskes’ Dr. Gretchen White series. I have so many favorite books. I loved Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin and The Storied Life of A.J. Fickery by her as well. My least favorite book is A Farewell To Arms by Earnest Hemingway. I did not have to read it in school. My dad had it on his shelf so I gave it a shot.
Hi Samantha! I like the items that come in this box. They're usable and practical. There were some books in high school that I didn't like. Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad tops the list. Also Lord of the Flies and Things Fall Apart. I also hated The Wind in the Willows as a kid. There were definitely classics that I loved too.
My favorite book is ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ , I read it about every other year. my least favorite is The Hobbit, he spent too much time describing every leaf on every tree on every path, it was exhausting to read.
I love Watership Down
I just read Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and LOVED it. I wasn't at all interested by the synopsis but such a captivating read!
My favorite books are those by Jane Austen(of course), P.G.Wodehouse. As for the bad books - when i was younger had read the Harlequin romance books and some of them were pretty baaaaddd with cheesy storylines and some bad writing!
I have had the Beautiful Boards book for over a year and it has so many adorable ways to decorate charcuterie boards.

I read/listen to a LOT of books. One book that I thought was excellent is, Where the crawdads sing by Delia Owens.. As far as bad books go, if I don't like the personality of the characters I quit reading. A book is just like the sticker in your box. If I wouldn't spend time with that character in real life, I won't waste my time on the fictional one.
I just finished two books. Loved one; hated the other. Loved 'The Favor', steamy romance. Would give it 4.5 stars! Hated 'Bride'. Was sorry I paid for it and so eagerly awaited it. The plot, the characters....I just couldn't enjoy any of it. Maybe 1.5 stars.

A book I don’t think gets enough talk about it is Devolution by Max Brooks. It is really good as an audiobook because it has a full cast of characters.
My absolute favorite book/s "Little House on the prairie" series ie: The Long cold Winter, etc. For my worst 🤔 Not a particular, but a huge pet peeve of mine when reading, is a choppy unstructured conversation/narrative flow. Like a confusing paragraph where we have to guess if the characters are reflecting from last memories or current, or too many unnecessary adjectives etc. All leading up to a short obvious sentence,then continuing into another paragraph of confusion.... maybe like this message I just wrote 😅, sorry.
This book club looks good. I like historical novels and I usually don't see that in book clubs.
It's my favorite genre. If you haven't read the one in this video- Nature of Fragile Things- it's one of my favorite Meissner books.

My favorite book of all time is by Francine Rivers and it is called Redeeming Love. You should give it a shot if you haven’t read it because I don’t read love stories much. The worst book I have ever read was The Other Typist by Suzanne Rindelle. Thank you for letting me participate💗

My favorite is In Death series by J.D.Robb, and can't really say I have one that I dislike because if can not get into it by the third chapter, will stop reading! Nice box!

A longtime favorite has been The Miss Julia series by Ann B Ross. They are funny and definitely an escape into the world of a small NC town.
Recently, I've been reading Frieda McFadden, love her books. Worst book was the two lives of Lydia bird. I don't even know if it was that bad, but I couldn't get into it and quit reading it. I almost never do that!
I don’t dislike a book often. This year though, I got the Valentine’s Day box from Once Upon a Book Club. The book in it was Raiders of the Lost Heart by Jo Segura. It was so hard to get though. Just not for me. The only reason I finished it was because I put it on a challenge and opening all the gifts helped
The Night Circus is one of my favorite books. I also love mystery books. Probably my favorite genre. I can’t think of a book I have disliked off the top of my head. If I don’t like a book I don’t normally end up finishing it. Lol

I love this box! I saw you open it awhile ago and subscribed. I’ve been getting it for a couple months now. I am always getting great books. I have so many favorite books. I loved fourth wing. I haven’t really read anything that i truly disliked. If I don’t like it I just don’t finished it

I decided to do my favorite & least favorite by Author, Gillian Flynn. At the time, Gone Girl was my favorite, shocking & unexpected!
I hated Dark Places.
I never read Sharp Objects but loved the series with Amy Adams. Also shocking but good.
Asking for my favorite book is like asking to pick a favorite child. So one of my favorites, that I read this past year is Part of your world by Abby Jimenez. I have bought it for a bunch of friends. And a book I really hated, that even Barack Obama loved was The Vaster Wilds by Lauren Groff. It just lead to nowhere.
Worst book: Emily Henry's Happy Place (it was so silly...SO silly...).
I just read that one, I agree. I walked away neutral, didn't hate it but won't ever refer it.

I can't narrow down a favorite so one of my most recent reads that I really enjoyed was The Blonde Identity by Ally Carter.

I used to read a lot of historical romance, so my favorite is anything by Julie Garwood. Now I read a little bit of everything. My least favorite is In my dreams I held a knife. I've never hated every character before. Even the ending being a good twist, couldn't salvage it for me.
My favorite book besides ACOMAF (at least right now) is a thriller named The Cipher and I read a cute funny romcom around the holiday named One Forked Up Thanksgiving.
