I am somewhat on the fence about purchasing a 101. I think your ratio of 80% city and 20% highway for this type of bike is spot on. The 101 is a beautiful bike in both the red and white colors with the graphics and I have yet to read a bad review. When I purchase a bike, I do so while taking in consideration the resale potential of what I am buying. In my opinion, a good percentage of cruisers tend to be in subdued colors, black, green, gray, matte, smoke, etc. I have read a few comments from some wishing the 101 came blacked out. As you mentioned, the upside of the 101 is it comes pretty much decked out with very little to add. I would be curious to see how these sell used as they are somewhat flashy with their paint and graphic scheme as compared to a used cruiser bike with more subdued paint. Just a thought.
