All your songs were a pleasure to listen to, definitely professional caliber, good intonation, blend and musicality. I'd love to play in a quintet like this.
great job on this song, the video quality and the tuba player, make this video look like something out of the 70's lol, sound quality is great, awesome job, by far.
That is so ironic! I did the same thing playing the tuba part on Bass trombone. (We also were the only ones to get a 1; in Texas, too. I think it was 2007) .
I played this my Junior year in Highschool as Tuba. We would've gone to state, but our first trumpet decided "Oh, no, I'm not going to go" and we couldn't train a new one in time. I was upset.
We're doing this for our brass quintet now. I'm a tuba, any suggestions on how i should keep count? i know the other people go by 2's but i kinda find 4's more befitting since i got quarter notes
We're playing it, too with some complications on my part. I can't play the last fast part (starts on a high D and is in the second measure of the second to last line). Its embarrassing because that's actually the trombone solo...

You folks have a really nice blend. Good interpretation, too.

@brogan5 its def a lot of fun. i can't double tongue either but was able to get my single tonguing up to speed for this. just takes practice

I hope I can play it this well next month!
And what's the probability of 2 players having with names beginning with Z just by chance? :-D
Is there a way to get the "three 16th notes in a row" simultaneous?
Our quintet is having even more trouble than yours.
TIA
I spent ten minutes trying to spell this correctly to find it.
The horn player keeps rushing
I'm doing this for my school. I play French horn. I know it's not that hard, it's just the counting is weird for me. So, any helpful tips?
Damn I miss high school band
