A good friend of mine wore this song out in high school, usually while getting high. Every time I hear it, it brings back memories of the freedom of youth. It would be nice to go back to those days every once in a while
This song was playing in the car while i was with my crush, we had our first kiss to this song and now hes in bootcamp and i leave in 4 days. It brings back bittersweet memories.
This was by far one of my favorite cd's growing up & this song was the best song from Bush imo. Born in 84' I grew up in the 90's & this takes me way back & brings up so many memories. The 90's was such a great decade & 90's music was unmatched. I still prefer music from the 90's vs music from now. Music nowadays just isn't as good & doesn't give me the feels deep within my chest like this song does.
+Jacob Cant Me too. I was only 3 weeks old when a certain man flew some planes into a certain pair of towers and ended world peace. I would have loved to experience the 90s.
That is an extremely hard blow for a mother to conquer the hurt and pain of just losing one child. As a Mother of two daughters in college it would send me over the edge.
It sent her over the edge.. She called me the night she took her life. I did not think anything of it. She said she did not want to be here anymore. That there was nothing worth fighting for.. And my stupid response was that I was busy. Too busy to talk. I got the phone call the next day. That is a regret I will live with the rest of my life.
Roxanne Santori Dear Roxanne: Many people that I know, counseled and talked to at length all said they want out of this life. They are still here today. Because of the realization that it is better to press on and get through it. You had no way of knowing that she was serious, nobody does, not even the best, most educated counselors. It's not your fault and it's not Roxy's fault. Peace and Love and be strong.
Thank you Lisa. The thing that makes me so angry is that I have masters in Psychology but still did not pull her off that fence. If only I had known. I will always feel in some way I could have stopped her. But I couldn't. And Roxanne was her name. This is her picture. My name is Dawn. People used to call us rust and dime. I miss her..
Roxanne Santori Okay, think about it this way. Nobody could have known that when one talks of suicide is serious. Most people don't have the guts to go through with it. Keep your Psychology business going and do your best, counsel and you will get close, that way you will know who is serious and who is not.
This song is so beautiful because it isn't a complicated song, it's just a simple, peaceful song. I remember in high school on nights when I couldn't sleep listening to bush helped me relax and get to sleep... I miss the nineties so fucking much it hurts... Better music, better video games, better TV, better everything.
look at me man some young kid 14 years old i remember my dad would play this song when i was what 5 or 6 found it today and had to listen. love music from the past
I remember jamming this song in my earbuds while laying in my bunk before heading to Iraq with our Infantry unit. Iraq was pretty wicked back then, everyone thought death was upon us via explosion (IED). It was sort of pre war anthem. Fast forward to yesterday, my girlfriend tells me that her friend suggested this song to her, saying it was a reminder of our relationship. She never heard of the righteous tune. I haven't listened to it since I got home, I decided to leave it in Iraq. Until yesterday, which happens to mark the death anniversary of two fallen comrades (IED).

I think this song always reminded me of how important life is, but Ur right, I took it for granted b/c the 90's was alternative ht after hit U didn't have a chance to sit back and take it all in. 2017 U realize. Amazing , beautifulness of the 90s.
I grew up in this era as an angry and very rebellious young teen. It's the band's like these that got me threw because when I felt like no one understands, including myself, why I felt and acted like I did but songs like this calmed me down because I could relate to the song.
Something reminded me of this song, randomly, the other day: this is the first time I hear this song in literally over 15 years. I totally forgot how GREAT this song was...I miss the late 90s
The first time i heard this song, i fell in love. With the song. With my best friend. With that summer. It was the end summer of 2012, i was 18. I was with my boyfriend, laying against him on the patio chair, at midnight and he played this song for me. I couldn't believe i hadn't heard it before. It was a perfect moment. He lip synced the lyrics, and I cried. It was my favourite summer, filled with love, hate, happiness, sadness, pain, adventure, firsts and late nights & early mornings. It was nowhere near perfect, but i'd never change it. This was the perfect song to bring a perfect summer to an end. I listen to it still, almost 4 years later, and still cry.

I like some newer music but I enjoy the 30 years of the greatest music to hit ears 70s to 2,000s wether it's rap, rock, pop, metal, jazz, even some country/blues. It's amazing
BrokenBrookieCookie that's true, I went to a Metallica, Pantera, and Nirvana coverband concert a few months ago and I saw people in their 60s head banging and I saw 10 year olds head banging to the same stuff. Listening to this today. Really reminds me of all the times I grew up laying in my bed depressed listening to this on the radio. Never grew out of suicidal ideation. That's why I'm listening to it now.
One of my favorite alternative rock tunes...there's something about the way the guitar is played...and one of the few tunes with no drums being played that really makes the tune so cool... ❤ sometimes less is more 🙂
I'd sing this to my first love at 15 years old thinking I'm so cool sounding like a chip monk. I can't wait to see you again Timber Anne 😘💯 forever & after
I know this is weird but this song somehow helped me cope with my girlfriend breaking up with me. it somehow helped me realise life's has its ups and downs and theirs plenty of other girls out their. I still really miss texting her late at night and hearing her voice over the phone
I mean this one HUNDRED percent: To HELL with her, bro. Don't waste ONE second of your life and energy on somebody that doesn't give a DAMN about you. I know it's pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to understand my words now, but one day you will and know I was telling you the truth.
Takes me back to Middle school. I remember getting this when it came out. It's funny telling my kids how I rode my bike to the Music store to purchase CD's and cassette tapes. I miss being a kid! Still have my purple ICP Great Milenko and White Snake cassette tapes. The only two I have from my childhood.
Been going through my middle and high school music choices. Boy do I miss hearing it all day everyday. Never gets old. Throwbacks hit the feels for sure though! #added_to_my_favorites_playlist
The beautiful thing about this song is.. the first two verses seems like a beautiful love poem... But the final verse is as if the poem was found after it was over with, adding some heartbreaking lines to it to show what was felt when it was done.. I love that..
listening this right after being bombarded by Taylor Swift's Blank Space at my friend's car. Just plugged my earphone. Not hating the nowadays popular music though, but this is far better. Both lyrically and musically.
+Shovel Knight XD Nooooooo, you're wrong too. It's "If you're reading this, congrats you're alive". If your're reading this isn't a full sentence. It doesn't qualify for a period. It does pause though, so a comma is needed there. I am sure there are more English rules I"m not aware of myself. Somebody else can come along and correct me too if they so wish. I just found it funny you missed that after correcting them. I ment no harm by this I'm just amused, XD.
I was out camping, it was really late and I was fast asleep, the camp that was probably 100 meters away from me were playing music very loud which would usually frustrate me but it was a weekend of celebration so i didn't mind. Anyway I was woken up to this song playing and have never been happier to be woken up by loud music. I now associate this song with an awesome weekend, makes me a little nostalgic if I can call it that.

Listening to this today. Really reminds me of all the times I grew up laying in my bed depressed listening to this on the radio. Never grew out of suicidal ideation. That's why I'm listening to it now.
This was my song back in the day still an awesome tune
Margerine!!
My pancake heart
Legit why I came back to this song.
Bad mix smells again, bad mix smells again
Will Jones and I will not get any response

One of my favorite alternative rock tunes...there's something about the way the guitar is played...and one of the few tunes with no drums being played that really makes the tune so cool... ❤ sometimes less is more 🙂
I'd sing this to my first love at 15 years old thinking I'm so cool sounding like a chip monk. I can't wait to see you again Timber Anne 😘💯 forever & after
I know this is weird but this song somehow helped me cope with my girlfriend breaking up with me. it somehow helped me realise life's has its ups and downs and theirs plenty of other girls out their. I still really miss texting her late at night and hearing her voice over the phone
same bro
EllieWellyBear thank you for standing up for me, that's very nice of you
Cameron Regan got me through some tough timed too keep rocking sweet them in 94 at point fest wow
I mean this one HUNDRED percent: To HELL with her, bro. Don't waste ONE second of your life and energy on somebody that doesn't give a DAMN about you. I know it's pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to understand my words now, but one day you will and know I was telling you the truth.

HELLO MONDAY MORNING
Takes me back to Middle school. I remember getting this when it came out. It's funny telling my kids how I rode my bike to the Music store to purchase CD's and cassette tapes. I miss being a kid! Still have my purple ICP Great Milenko and White Snake cassette tapes. The only two I have from my childhood.
90s were the BEST idc who disagrees i remember discovering BUSH from the movie FEAR in 95 with Mark Whalberg and Reese Whitherspoon!
Been going through my middle and high school music choices. Boy do I miss hearing it all day everyday. Never gets old. Throwbacks hit the feels for sure though! #added_to_my_favorites_playlist
2021 who's with me
God, I miss the days of 90's Buzz Ballads.
Bush is one of the most underrated bands of all time. Wish I was a teen in the late 90s
What a song it brings back so many memories
Easiest drum part ever! Got it down the first few seconds
ZxiTzLuCkYxZ there is no drum part
ZxiTzLuCkYxZ but I don't hear any drums
The joke flew over a few heads
Wooosh
wooosh
The beautiful thing about this song is.. the first two verses seems like a beautiful love poem...
But the final verse is as if the poem was found after it was over with, adding some heartbreaking lines to it to show what was felt when it was done..
I love that..
2019 and 2040 this will be my fav song 💜
nino Forza Juve dude our band has been covering this since 98, same here
Don't let the plaque build uuuuuupppp…..

WeAreZebras Idiot.
9/11 did Bush.
WeAreZebras lol you got someone with that one xD bravo trolling at its finest
+WeAreZebras chupopopo!
I'm ashamed at how long it took me to get that joke
+BlackPikmin1998 I still don't get it lol
listening this right after being bombarded by Taylor Swift's Blank Space at my friend's car. Just plugged my earphone. Not hating the nowadays popular music though, but this is far better. Both lyrically and musically.
I can hear the bass in this one so much more than I have before.. I love you ❤️
This song is for the love I lost, I still think about you till the day I die, you were the truest love I will ever know
if your reading this. congrats your ALIVE
I died because of the grammar though LOL
+Bossun Fujisaki But it wasn't a full stop! It's the period that's out of place.
I ment no harm by this I'm just amused, XD.
first song I ever heard out on my own
There should also be a comma after "congrats".
Listening on Christmas Eve 2019 🤘

Hot damn, I forgot _all_ about this band. Used to listen to them alongside all the other 90s classics in the little Xterra with my mom, when I was small(er), before my parents split. Wow. Total memory trip.
“I’m never alone I’m alone all the time”
I can relate to that one.
When I listen to this so does my neighborhood
Hell yeah brother 🤟🤟🤟
