This is the speedrun I'm here for, probably because I've put 300+ hours into slime rancher over the course of two years and only a couple months ago during quarantine I 100%ed the slimepedia. It was that gilded ginger, man. My strat ended up being to go to the same spot every day in hopes of it being there one of the days.
@@JesterEnthusiast Have you unlocked all the sub areas? it might be the quicksilver slime, the saber slime, or the glitch slime. or it could just be the gold or lucky slimes. those can be tough because they’re entirely luck based. I think the lucky slime might be rarer because I usually see at least one gold every time I play but a lucky only sometimes.
I just realized that you have a vac gun, which shoots things at other things, and the whole game is first person, except the main menu and home menu, so technically, Slime Rancher is a First-Person Shooter game. my mind has expanded.
just get enough newbucks that you can buy the lab, then get enough materials to unlock drones. possibly get into Victor's lab and get the upgraded drones.
At first I was thinking “oh this seems pretty easy” then I started realizing all the extra locations on the ranch and the rare slimes and the gilded ginger

@@mrhogs3916 honestly reaching the credits fast isn't hard without practice I reached credits in 35 mins while also focusing on my ranch but 13 minutes is still definitely fast
Also I really need to clear out my ranch. I’m hoarding plorts for now, and keeping the puddle and fire slimes in storage. I need tips for a ranch layout! I wanted to organize it by area. Pink slimes/largos will be in the lab, carnivores will be in the overgrowth, farming will take over the docks, and the main area will be meat eaters and my quantum largos so i can monitor them. Is that a good layout for my normal file?
dont mind if i ask, how many slime key gates are skippable by jetpack jumping or slime jump? i found some skips by jetpacking but I'm sure there are more
I think i know some faster ways into some areas, but you do need the jetpack to do it, in fact, with enough jetpack and skill, you can get into the wilds from the moss blanket without a teleporter
Would it be faster to emergency return to sleep when you have nothing you need to keep in your vacpack, or is running home and pressing sleep until morning faster?
No, you have like a 3 second spare time, to see if you are sure, within those 3 seconds and a little loading screen, we can get to the conclusion that running and sleeping is faster
They aren't needed for the achievement which I think is what they base it on, they have entries but being timed events unless your doing your speed run on the weekend of the wiggly wonderland event you can get them both done

I took a short break. In that part of the run i entered the Slimeulation. If you enter that area you are basically traped in it for few minutes (until a exit opens) and in those few minutes i only have few things to do in the Slimeulation and i easiely can take a short break without loosing time because i would need to wait for the exit anyway.

@@ivo2781 The Gilded Ginger has 74 possiable spawn locations. Its random which locations are choosen, so theres alot of luck envolved to get one that i can grab fast. The only thing i can do is to learn the possiable spawn locations and to make sure i check those spots efficiently. You need to the open the Accient Gate and buy the Treasure Cracker MK2 before completing Viktors trade, if you do that you will unlock viktors area after completing his trade.
