right. they're so very misery signals influenced, at times when id listen to the entire andromeda album I could swear I was listening to misery signals. Jessie even named them as the bands primary influence in an interview
while both very valid contenders, these boys are surely kings of this domain. can confirm quality have had discography on random repeat for weeks at work. i'm never going to be the same.
+dejaron hermann this sounds exactly like it could be off of controller minus the cleans and djent. How the shit can you not see that erra takes huge inspiration misery signals.
check out their album 'Impulse'. By far one of my favorite cd's to date. i can listen to it from start to finish without changing the song or even pause it to take a break.
This is my second vid I watched of them today, and I got to say... These dudes deserve way more attention! I mean it's all epic the screaming, playing and clean vocals? It just sounds so epic. The amount of aggression without it sounding like its too much.
This, Machina, Andromeda, and Towers will forever fuck me up. Rip Garrison. Rip Allan. Drift and going onward is just ERRA and Ghost Atlas fusing into the same project. The Artificials is great though. Really want to see what Allan can accomplish in the next few years. Heart was a great album.
It would appear that Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, and Born of Osiris must have had a 3 way a few years back. Otherwise, there's no explanation for such brilliance.
i agree, too many bands try to have weird green screen garbage with special effects behind them and all that jazz. I think this is one of the more tasteful metal videos ive seen lately, just the band, their instruments, and black and white vignette
@BlankTV thank you for posting this, i would never have found these guys if it wasnt for you guys. These guys, Erra, are fuckin GREAT, this album is just too good to not have in you music library, BUY IT! NOW!!!!!!
i dont get why they are stil so unpopular. i mean the recordings are awesome, the songwriting is one of the best i have ever heared. and both vocalist are pure sex 0.0
Only just found out about this band today. LOVE the Misery Signals influence. If you dig these guys, check out Northlane. An Aussie bands making real waves with their debut 'Discoveries'.
This reminds me a lot of Misery Signals and Hopesfall (I'm more of the old bands that started to use this types of melody) awesome band, found the on the comments of a Volumes video.
If you like them with their old stuff look up augment, last album with Garrison as vox but it was like a perfect album, their new vocalist is pretty good too
Almost 10 years,.. since the first time I Listened. You guys left an imprint in modern metal. These album deserves a reissue..
Erra is definitely one of the best metal bands ever. Every song is so damn good.
Wow. I've listened to Erra almost 4000 times, somehow have never heard this. So different. A huge Misery Signals influence for sure.
Same
this fuckin band is pure gold
one of their best songs ever! I miss a bit old erra
Elitist and Erra's early works are still the best for me. they just sound so heavenly and give me chills every time I listen to them.
Totally agree. I remember seeing them on tour together. Hell of a time.
NEED this EP on Spotify
2021 still holding it down
Fuqqq yes, but the older stuff will always be better
2022
2023
Nov. 2023 🔥🔥
2024
Still my favorite song by my favorite band. Those last two lyrics are the best I've ever heard
1:30 that guitar fill violently tears out my heartsrings
omg it's baby erra, i love it
This gets me as inspired as Misery Signals did back in the day.
right. they're so very misery signals influenced, at times when id listen to the entire andromeda album I could swear I was listening to misery signals. Jessie even named them as the bands primary influence in an interview
Only discovered these guys in the last few days. They remind me of a perfect mix between Volumes, Misery Signals and TDWP
Incredible band, arguably the best, for 5-6 years. Then still a brilliant one after that. Good record.
Thank you Erra.
I love this band!
1:47 is one of the best riffs in metalcore.
Songs like this are of rare form
It should be on spotify guys!
best band of all time
Tyler Crim I think this is the only band/artist I've discovered where I like 100% of their discography.
+LaughingMan17 that's me with Parkway Drive and August Burns Red
while both very valid contenders, these boys are surely kings of this domain. can confirm quality have had discography on random repeat for weeks at work. i'm never going to be the same.
Elitist sucks
Reshape Reason was lit
These guys are ridiculously talented. I've been listening to them nonstop since I came across them about 2 wks ago. Thanks, Elitist. Much appreciated.
Andromeda and Impulse, two otherworldly albums that deserve all the praise!
I miss you old Erra
2:43 reminds me so much of Misery Signals. Thats a fantastic thing though,
Campbell Louden which songs i cant find any MS songs that sound like erra or erra songs tht sound influenced by MS
Campbell Louden I definitely hear it
+dejaron hermann this sounds exactly like it could be off of controller minus the cleans and djent. How the shit can you not see that erra takes huge inspiration misery signals.
Jesse said they were one oh his influences
Soooo god damn awesome! this band never gets old especially with this line up!
check out their album 'Impulse'. By far one of my favorite cd's to date. i can listen to it from start to finish without changing the song or even pause it to take a break.
This is like misery signals i love it 💕
Those lyrics...
0:28 to 0:41, this is the most hyped moment in a song, ever!
Still is in 2022
brutal breakdown
This song gets better every time I hear it.
Yeah, their from Alabama. One of my Favorite locals.
This is my second vid I watched of them today, and I got to say... These dudes deserve way more attention! I mean it's all epic the screaming, playing and clean vocals? It just sounds so epic. The amount of aggression without it sounding like its too much.
The only ERRA
Usually I don't like when bands introduce singing like this, but it just fucking works for these guys.
This band new album "Impulse" is fucking amazing, everyone should buy it.
This reminds me so much of From Autumn to Ashes.
I love Drift and Ghost Atlas, but they were so much better with Alan and Garrison. Augment is literally the best thing I've ever heard.
They sound like ERRA... which is SWEET music to my ears.
Just met these dudes couple days ago in cleveland, really chill, and awesome live!
It is an unimaginable tragedy that this EP and the self titled isn’t on Spotify
2023 man this is still wild
@BlankTV thank you for posting this, i would never have found these guys if it wasnt for you guys. These guys, Erra, are fuckin GREAT, this album is just too good to not have in you music library, BUY IT! NOW!!!!!!
Rockin out from Bama hell yes!!! bout time my state produced good music
Erra and Garrison were the perfect match
I love it when a band doesn't remind me of any other band!!!! like this one
ERRA was better back with Garrison. but I won't lie, I like the present also.
I prefer J.T.’s barky vocals more
Everyone has been telling me to check this band out. Apparently their from Birmingham, Alabama. It's nice to see something good come from our state.
The riffs, the everything!
O M G!!!! thank you blankTV!!!!!!!
@Elfavzla Alabama I think!
I really can't believe that most of the members in this band are from By Blood And Iron. They really make sick music. Damnn.
both Jesse(guitar) and Alex(drums) are from By Blood and Iron
i dont get why they are stil so unpopular.
i mean the recordings are awesome, the songwriting is one of the best i have ever heared.
and both vocalist are pure sex 0.0
Nothing beats the originnal erra line up
Alabama always has the best bands
OK. I did not know Justin Long was a drummer before kicking off his acting career.
awesome.....
Yep, my home state!
Wow! Great band.
love this
4ever in my heart...
It's got an August Burns Red feel besides the cleans. Amazing
Best Band!
So fire 🔥
2024 🤘
Omega Children 🤘
reminds me a lot of misery signals. this is dope af
Brilliant!
I agree. Now we need more bands like this coming from our state. lol. I want to be in the next band to make it from Alabama haha
2:43 gets me everytime
already got the ep dude, it's sick
2:47 Emarosa shirt ftw
maybe like Chris Roetter era (?)
That makes sense. This video is pretty old.
Oliver Hill in 2011 Jonny Craig was the frontman in that time anyway but I guess is about I said before
thank you!
they go into the studio in february, new full legnth coming summer 2013 :)
I miss you Garrison :(
Reminds me of Parkway Drive !!! x)
This silver lining is only a miraaaaaawwggeee
Only just found out about this band today. LOVE the Misery Signals influence.
If you dig these guys, check out Northlane. An Aussie bands making real waves with their debut 'Discoveries'.
good song
De lo mejor.
Muy crabron!
Why the fuck does this only have 80k views?
+Liam Harlow ERRA, Bury Tomorrow, While She Sleeps just a few examples of really talented yet underrated bands
you are correct!
very impressed.
Their instrumental is perfect. Very creative. Particularly, I prefer more clean than guttural vocals (70% clean, 30% guttural, if I'd measure it).
this, and Conditions too.
Awsome band! :D
Reminds me of Misery Signals at points, this is really cool
Yes it is
@fishballrox wich song of Animals As Leaders ?
I wouldn't say that but this band is great
so true
2017 and you still haven't fixed the title, the song's called: Of Rare "Reform", not just "Form"
Alexo -VRL it’s 2018 and it still aint changed
2019. Still waiting on the fix
2021. Now it's ok.
@@maximun93 Lol glad to see, i completely forgott about this hahaha thanks bud
awesome melodies.. makes me ears jizz
I thought the same thing about them when I first heard them. Like Parkway with cleans
@Dravenic1 NICE!!!!!!!!!:D
This reminds me a lot of Misery Signals and Hopesfall (I'm more of the old bands that started to use this types of melody) awesome band, found the on the comments of a Volumes video.
If you like them with their old stuff look up augment, last album with Garrison as vox but it was like a perfect album, their new vocalist is pretty good too
A call to sincerity is fucking sick , uploaded by blanktv... Especially the means to an end
This kinda reminds me of attack attack's song criminal i don't know why maybe because just like this song it's freaking awesome :)
Birmingham, AL.
