She wasn’t inserting her own feelings….although I think since everything came out about how Ryan used Esme to manipulate Spencer, Ava has softened some towards Spencer. Plus she tried to kill his father and all lol so there’s that lol
I really liked the way Ava talked to Trina and she listened to her and not talk down to her. Ava talked Woman to Woman to Trina. Ava asked her how she felt about Spencer and commented on what Trina said back to Spencer. Trina feels so comfortable around Ava and too bad she can't have this talk with her mom.

I hate this storyline with Trina and Spencer. It's really bad in my opinion. Instead of giving them challenges to fit their age, their dreams we have this pseudo family drama where Spencer is the dad estranged from his spouse trying to make it work for the kid. Esme, the villainous wife who cares for the kid And of course Trina, who is at the same time the saint and the mistress. Trina the saint because she has the burden of somehow forgiving the women who drugged her got her arrested, kicked out of school and accused on of sex-crime. Trina , the support for Spencer where he his personal growth comes at her expense (and this has been throughout their story) And now Trina the mistress because this is not the way you treat your girlfriend. Your girlfriend that you just took the next step with and had sex. Question: is it just me or was GH really careful in not saying that it was Trina's first time. For Joss that basically was the story line but for Trina language for very carefully chosen to say first time with Spencer. Wonder if anyone else noticed that. Anyway Spencer is basically treating Trina like a mistress and she deserves bettter. He can only be with her if they go away (see ny trip) ; They have a different dynamic in Port Charles, they don't spend anytime together and of course Trina has to be the one now coming between Spencer and his "kid". I was disgusted to see Spencer feeling completely entitled to not only scream at her but also say "you're not gonna like if I have to choose between you and Ace". Even in today's episode it's always like Trina is his second choice, consolation prize. In the beginning i thought Spencer and Trina would be like Nicholas and Emily but this is so far from that. I've had enough. I think overall GH needs to do a better job with female characters. Give them storylines beyond baby mama drama or rapes or illness. I don't think there's been a story line about a female character working and making their way in the world since Maxi and her efforts to be in fashion. As for Spencer, what does he do all day? When Ace is in day care? Does he work? Does he have any dreams? goals? Like what? he needs to get out of this situation even more than Esme. ranting but GH writers have me 😡😡

You are totally right she only can spend time with what is supposed to be her boyfriend if they leave town for a quick trip to New York. Then when they return he heads back home where he lives with his psycho ex and brothers mom while Trina occasionally makes visits that seem awkward. There was even times over the summer where Trina came over and she felt like she was interrupting a couple who live together but are not even a couple. Also I like other fans and viewers noticed spencer got way too comfortable having the best of both worlds where he has Trina on the side while still continuing to live with esme and ace.

He has no dreams or goals, Trina tried to address that with him and he was acting dense. Yes! Challenges that fit their age is right. Trina is a junior in college. She should be enjoying life, not dealing with baby mama drama, when the baby isnt even her man's. She and Spencer are around the same age. Who wants to be saddled with a baby at that age? Especially one that isn't even theirs. And I think one of the reasons Spencer obsesses over Ace is because he doesn't really have anything else to focus on. It's Ace and Trina. When he first came to PC he was on a gap year, meaning he should have started college the following year, but I don't think he's mentioned school since. And remember when Trina asked him about his 5 yr plan, how defensive he got? The boy is lost, and I guess Ace gives him a sense of purpose.
I liked what Ava was telling Trina. I don’t think that Spencer gave Trina an ultimatum though. She was the one that was trying to get him to chose. You should never as a girlfriend ask your boyfriend to chose you over his family member, especially when that family member is a baby. I can see her wanting him to spend time with Ace without Esme. I’ve said it before, the three of them should spend time together. She should want to get to know his brother, she may be his aunt one day. On another note, I wish Trina would do more to get her family to accept Spencer. Maybe we’ll see that now that the holidays are coming around.

The ultimatum (if that is what we're calling it) was his final notice that he would not be choosing her over Ace. She knows she doesn't come before Ace. However Ace is attached to Esme, and Trina POV is the facts are Esme is moving...so does that mean you will be moving with her. Even Esme knows this is stupid, which is why she said we'll all buy a house: me you Ace and Trina. He said "huh". Sounds stupid when you say it out loud, but that is the future.

In the preview for tomorrow Trina has on the same clothes as she did when she talked to Ava, so were the scenes today with Joss at the same time as the Ava/Trina convo? I guess we’ll find out tomorrow, but since Spencer is with Joss and Trina is with Curtis, I guess she said she’d talk to him later.
I read it online on one of the spoiler sights that they are going to have Spencer choose to live with Esme and Ace, which will in turn break SPRINA up. It didn't say anything about Ace not being a Cassadine it just said that Spencer chooses family over love (or true love) something along those lines. The more I read it went on to say that Spencer starts to see Esme in a new light (so that right there tells you that he is going to get back with Esme to raise Ace). So all of this incredible build up and the NYC getaway was if you think about it just so Spencer can get laid and Trina can lose her V card??. That is literally what I am thinking now.

Ace's mom, brother, and father were too busy trying to settle petty scores and selfish feuds while Trina was the ONLY one who thought up the solution to keep Ace out of growing up in a prison cell. She's helped take care of him with Spencer for a year now. Esme herself, Laura, and others have mentioned repeatedly that Trina always plays and bonds with Ace when she's at the house. She gave Ace his baby blanket, she saved him in Greenland and took care of him after when Spencer was missing after the drone strike, and she's put herself in the path of her abuser DAILY in order to give Spencer the most selfless support. Far more than this Cassadine/Prince circus ever deserved.
