Italo funk
Not disco.
@@AS-yp4ti Agreed, this one would be classified as Italo Funk. It has more soul to it than the Italo Disco productions :) Although, I love Italo Disco too.
Bravisimo
Coisa mais gostosa!!💃🏻🔥💖
Isn't this minneapolis sound?
No, it was created independently of anything that Prince and the other Minneapolis artists were doing. This is an Italian production and the Italians had been creating funky music like this for a few years prior, often using English lyrics.
@@jarvass I didn't know that my italian neighbours could have benn so funky! But they must have been influenced by the USA I guess?
@@BradleyMilkislove Yes, they're definitely influenced by the disco funk sounds going on in the USA during those prior 5 years or so. The group "Change" is good example of it. They used Italian musicians, as well as some American musicians to have a sound that was somewhat similar to Chic.
musical influences have bounced across the atlantic several times by producers years before the general public get to hear it.
