About f-ing time! Finally, somebody who went to shot show who isn't talking about ARs. I love ARs I own them, but there are millions of people like me who shoot clays and bird hunt. So, thank you for the video.
I got the 688 . Best gun out of the box I have ever shot. It fits me perfect. There is virtually no recoil. It patterned perfectly for me. I then took it out and shot 115 out of 125 birds. I am NOT that good of a shooter, honest. Took it out again this weekend and again, smoking targets. What a dream. My first Beretta.
Guys reviewing tactical guns on RUclips are a dime-a-dozen. IMHO that market is saturated, but your focus on competitive/hunting shotgunning is not. I'd stay focused on your current targets. At most I'd like to see you shoot a coach gun or two, to see if they'd be much use beyond short-range defense.
I bought the 688. The adjustability is excellent. This shotgun fits very well it hits where I'm looking. I love the palm swell, adjustable trigger, adjustable comb and there is no recoil. It looks amazing as well. I understand Beretta asked for and got input from their pro staff while designing this shotgun and it really shows. You won't be disappointed.
Please review the 688, PLEASE. Really liked this video and all of your other videos as well. Great channel and appreciate the straightforward reviews, no fluff.
Great info Steve. You know what else is a new release ? Weatherby Element2 ! Curious about the Orion SXS as well. As always I'm going to suggest you review the CZ Redhead All Terrain. It's a fine multi purpose Over/Under that's really geared towards the WaterFowl hunter. Really enjoy and appreciate the hard work you put in bringing us these entertaining and informative videos. Stay Target Focused !! jmp
I bought the 688 so far loving it. Have not had a chance to try bust some clays with it but took it pheasant hunting. The gun is a bit heavy for field use but was breeze to shoot birds.
2 dominate forces in the world of international clay target shooters. And 1 top American clay target shooter. And I bet most the Ppl there didn't even know how many Olympic medals and world titles there were standing next too.
Hey! Thanks for the great video Bhate You missed the Beretta A300 Ultima competition! I would love to see you review that shotgun. I just purchased it in the red lava
Just bought my 1st Beretta shotgun a few weeks ago. Switched from the SX4 due to a cracked barrel. Theres a little bit of difference im finding from winchester to the beretta
How did the barrel get cracked? I’ve been looking into sa shotguns just recently and had decided to get an sx4 when I have the opportunity/ is on sale.
I went to handle the 688 as soon as my local shop had one... not for me. I couldnt get low enough on the gun. I look well over the rib and bead so bad that it wasnt funny.... now... if they made a high rib version.. that would be nice
Would sure like to hear someone do an in-depth review of various manufacturers, such as Beretta, Winchester, Mossberg, Benelli, etc., baded solely on their customer service. I hear bad things about Beretta customer service as well as Mossberg.
I love all the reviews ( I have been watching for a couple years) but in response to a comment you made in this video, please no tactical reviews. Upland, waterfowl and clays. Thank you and keep up the great work! Maybe throw in a vintage waterfowl gun or two. That would be fun.
Amongst other guns (inc Berettas) I do have a 20g 486, though not the Marc Newson. Nice little gun at ¼ the price of the Newson which IMO is way over priced. The 486EL to me looks the best of the range (as I do like side plates) and even that is way less than ½ the cost of a Marc Newson.
seriously??? FIY - The reason why they win so many medals is because THEY ARE CONSISTENT OVER TIME, they have determination, follow through and they train a lot.
Yes, it's the shooter 98%. Gun fit is important. Beretta's are way overpriced for what they are, like Rolex. Many gun brands shoot just as well or better and are just as durable. Just like all watches keep time, many keep time better than a Rolex, but time keeping is not why people buy Rolex. In the age of CNC machines, laser engraving, and available metals...the actual cost to make these is not high. Handcrafted used to imply quality and you paid a price for it. It doesn't so much anymore.
It is forbidden to visit the Rolex workshops in Switzerland on the other hand you can visit the Beretta workshops in Italy. This would allow you to understand why they are not brands like the others. My father gave me a Rolex in 1973 and my grandfather gave me a Beretta for ball trap in 1971. Today more than 50 years later I still use them.
How’s Kim’s lawsuit against California’s draconian ammo law going? It basically ended my competition shooting entertainment. Which I suppose was their intent all along 😞
Who can afford it these days? I obviously wouldn’t take such an heirloom in the field unless I had a lot of disposable income (I do baby my guns) My Franchi is perfect as it’s left-handed specific and at a fraction of the cost. Not sure I trust the QC that comes out of the Beretta TN factory anyhow…
Please review the 1301 and/or the A300 Patrol, especially because they are available with chokes, though not intended to be sporting guns, it’d be great to hear your take on them and how they might perform in a pinch
Someone please explain why this is 3500 for an over under but my mod 2 was 2300 after tax, I love the gun but you got me fucked up if you think I’m gonna pay $1000 plus more than what I paid for a semi auto shotgun 😭😭
Best reason for OU is having 2 chokes. For skeet, Over is improved. Under is skeet choke. Mod over IC for sporting clays. I think OU is higher end materials and it almost never malfunctions. My last yr of shooting ( ~5000 rounds) no malfunctions on my Caesar guerini or Browning. I mean zero malfunctions. With semiauto, you have to do maintenance a lot to achiever that level of reliability. I run a bore snake through my OU after shooting. No other maintenance is really necessary. I think the cost is hand fitting of double barrels to hit same POI/POA and twice the work for forcing cones. Just my 2 cents worth.
These guys are some real snake oil salesmen!!😂. This pipe is much better than that pipe. How much better?? About $5000 better. I love how they say it’s better but never show any proof.
About f-ing time! Finally, somebody who went to shot show who isn't talking about ARs. I love ARs I own them, but there are millions of people like me who shoot clays
and bird hunt. So, thank you for the video.
Agreed. I want to see more shotguns!
The price for the over under is ridiculous though

❤ thanks for interviewing a gold medalist and for his advice. Sad everyone overlooks him. I don’t do shot guns but great video either way
LOVE MY NEW 688 FOR SPORTING CLAYS
ohh nice … ❤❤❤ … bought in the 🇺🇸?

Agree! Keep it going.
Agreed! This needs more likes
Thanks for your content Steve👍🏻
Nothing but ar15 and tacticool stuff on every other RUclips channel for shot show. You the man🤩
Agree!
I’m getting that new silver pigeon this February!!!!!! I was waiting for a shot show beretta over under video all freaking week!
Please do a “Shotgun Showdown” between the New Retay ACE-R and the Benelli SBE 3 in 28 gauge!! (As well as an in-depth review of the Retay ACE-R.)
I bought the 688. The adjustability is excellent. This shotgun fits very well it hits where I'm looking. I love the palm swell, adjustable trigger, adjustable comb and there is no recoil. It would be good to see a youth oriented beginners video. As not all store guys can be trusted.
688 review please
Dude why you such a dope didn’t even intro Kim Rhode? Multiple gold medals and national champ! What’s wrong with you?
Do a review on that 688… looks very promising for those of us who will never own a DT11!
688 review would be interesting thanks
688 has my interest
Would like to see reviews on the Tactical and the Competition models.
I’m really hoping you do shotgun release videos from Shot Show like last year. Love the content!!
Great info Steve. You know what else is a new release ? Weatherby Element2 ! Curious about the Orion SXS as well. As always I'm going to suggest you review the CZ Redhead All Terrain. I bought the 688 in November...Incredible gun!
Love the look of the SL2.
Great review on beretta’s line-up!
I need to incorporate the Vinny advice!
A300 field looked very interesting
688 has that special touch, not to mention RAINGUN !!! for sporting Clay's
Please do a review on the 688
I bought the 688 so far loving it. Have not had a chance to try bust some clays with it but took it pheasant hunting. The gun is a bit heavy for field use but was breeze to shoot birds.
Come on Steve. Get that Sorix ! 20 and 12 !!!!!!
Because you viewed shotguns, you have a new subscriber
The 688 looks like the one I would like to try.
Have had a Beretta Silver Pigeon 686 for a long time. Need to branch out, lol.
2 dominate forces in the world of international clay target shooters. And 1 top American clay target shooter.
And I bet most the Ppl there didn't even know how many Olympic medals and world titles there were standing next too.
Thanks for the review and go Beretta w/ the new shotguns.
Hope Browning has some new field offerings too.
Would love to see more tactical content 🦅
When’s a full shot show video coming. I only care about shotguns and you’re the man for that.
Wow Great show !!
More on side by sides! Thanks.
I love your website and videos, would love to see you add tactical shotguns into your rating system!
I am a huge Beretta fan boy. Love my A400 Xcel Sporting.
Man this is so cool. I shoot at Pro Gun, great sporting clays course. Really awesome to see Beretta doing this 💥
YESSS!
I think seeing the 1301 and A300 Ultima Patrol review would be cool. Mossberg 940 SPX also.
Really enjoyed this video steve!! Even though im partial to browning...
Great video. Love the Beretta shotguns
Berreta SL2
Blaser FBX
What brand/model ear protection are you wearing in this video? Thanks.
Would love to see the A400 Extreme and the 1301 Tactical
I’m new to guns/ shotgun, and I love your videos! Great job!
Was hoping for an A400 Xtreme Plus in a 28 gauge🥲
Me too
Yes, please!
Same here was hoping they would release one this year.
Agreed, I've been waiting on one of those for years. I'll be checking out the Retay Ace in 28 once it's available.
@@danielmizicko7528 Read Randy wakemens article about retay.
Great video I’d like to see the 688

Nice guns but I’ll stick with my 682 super sport. Love Beretta shotguns!
I've got to have a 688.
Great video! What was your round count of free ammo?
What would think about beretta 688 vs fabarm elos n2
Hey Steve can you do a review on the tri star viper g2 16 gauge
PLEASE review the 1301 and the A300 patrol! PLEASE!
TFL is not doing reviews of tactical shotguns, at least not much.
@ he asked if we wanted, as someone that shoots tactical and hunting/sporting shotguns I’d love to see some tactical reviews.
TFBTV for those reviews 👍
Elegante arma amigos belleza fantástico saludos
Yeah I agree I hate the looks of laminated stocks makes gun look cheap
688
Please review the Krico o/u super sporting
Sweet
You bet some great guns in the states we don’t get in the UK we could only dream or something as good as shotshow in Europe
Very nice, but I would have to mortgage my house to afford one.
Berreta SL2
Review Retay’s new Ace-R when it comes out
I went to handle the 688 as soon as my local shop had one... not for me. I couldnt get low enough on the gun. I look well over the rib and bead so bad that it wasnt funny.... now... if they made a high rib version.. that would be nice
Retay ace!!! Lol
Any word from browning on last years fake 20ga A5?
No dets on the can?! Sad. How was the feild of view, reduced reciol, etc...
👍👍👍
Would sure like to hear someone do an in-depth review of various manufacturers, such as Beretta, Winchester, Mossberg, Benelli, etc., baded solely on their customer service. I hear bad things about Beretta customer service as well as Mossberg.
Love this. Would like to see more on 3 gun shot guns stuff like the 1301 pro comp
With all shotguns for all types of target, balance is everything, but very underrated. A few percentage points off 100% and performance will suffer.
Sadly not a patch on the new Blazer ....
Bună seara cît costă o cameră de calibru 12?

but in response to a comment you made in this video, please no tactical reviews. Upland, waterfowl and clays. Thank you and keep up the great work! Maybe throw in a vintage waterfowl gun or two. That would be fun.
688 looks like a great gun but the aesthetics are not going to win a lot of fans with the day glow orange.
The reason they win so many medals is, they give the top shooters free guns. Wins and medal generate sales.
seriously??? FIY - The reason why they win so many medals is because THEY ARE CONSISTENT OVER TIME, they have determination, follow through and they train a lot.
@ I’m not talking about the athletes, I’m talking about beretta. When Perazzi used to sponsor the top shots with guns, everyone shot a Perazzi!

@@andrewhilditch4036The top shooters still shoot a Perazzi. Look at George Digweed.
It's gorgeous but, at $11k +, my wife would use it on me. Lol.
Drop the tactical BS
How’s Kim’s lawsuit against California’s draconian ammo law going? It basically ended my competition shooting entertainment. Which I suppose was their intent all along 😞
Say what you will but beretta should be asked of the pitiful triggers in their DT-11. for the money they charge you’re better off buying a K or P gun.
Beautiful shotguns but way out of the average persons price range unless you want to finance it.
No tact please
Tactical reviews?? YES PLEASE!
do tactical reviews as well please.

The first two guns are, except for price, quite nice. Sorry, but guns with plywood stocks or cut to "GI Joe" specs are of zero interest.
Absolutely do tactical reviews

Try one sometime. You get what you pay for.
@ The fit and finish is definitely better but the performance is marginally better. I believe it’s mostly a placebo effect.
@@Memeteam903, you know how it goes the last 5% of performance costs 500% more than the first 95%.
