- Due to Covid-19, the Taipei Zoo will close from 5/15 - 6/8. Maybe Iriki will carry a new born baby, when I see her again.
因疫情的關係, 台北動物園將於5/15-6/8關園. 期待Iriki可以在沒有遊客的干擾下,順利生產.

I'm actually glad the zoo is closing for a month - just so Iriki can have some quiet time with her babe once she is born. There will be no disturbing noise - and she will be able to bond with her little one in peace and quiet.
Hopefully Taipei will keep us all informed of all developments in regards to the birth.
Sending lots of luck and healing good wishes to Iriki for a safe birthing.

I imagine she is going to be a much better mother than her sister. Iriki looks like she is much more responsible and will be a caring and attentive mom.

I hope the zoo will manage to capture the moment on tape, like they did with Jabali's birth. Me and my Mum watched it together and we were both moved by the tenderness Tayari showed to the baby. 🥰🌺🌺🌺🦍

I hope that during the closing of the zoo they will take the oportunity to upgrade the landscape and the facilyties for the well being of this growing family .
Aw, I haven’t seen many videos of her the last couple of days. I was hoping the reason was because she had her little one. My birthday is May 29th so I would be honored to share my birthday with Iriki’s infant if she doesn’t have it before then. Prayers and positive thoughts for her to have a peaceful easy delivery and a healthy infant. I hope they keep her in isolation for a little while to keep the baby safe from Alpha wannabe Tayari, even if there is no danger from Tayari.
My birthday is tomorrow 5/ 20 🤪 & my sons birthday is the 29th ,Hope birth is one of these days 💙 💗 💓 Lol

They gestate for about 8.5 months. Do you know about when they announced she was pregnant?
They didn't announce until she was well into her pregnancy.. Jabali was about 2-3 mths old...I think she will have the baby soon..🤞👁️👁️
they officially announce it at the beginning of March, at the same time Gyasi's (Tayari's mother) and Bao Bao's baby son, Kiango, have born in Apenheul. But many people noticed the pregnancy before that.
