My boiler was dripping through the ceiling tonight I managed to work out how to get the cover off and then found the manifold part I will get it tomorrow and fit it myself minus touching the gas pipe I tried some expoxy putty from bnq for leaks to put me on but did it hell work i roughened the plastic with sandpaper so it would key to it and left it for 2 hours it was rock hard it and the manifold was dry still leaked water always finds it's way out thanks for your video I will give the clips a spray of wd40 cheers
Once you've done this once its actually not a bad job and overly common, I find the hardest part is getting the old fibre washers off theyre always soaked and caked on then break off in tiny pieces for some reason.
Mr Jeffery, I'm having my green star junior 24i giving very hot water ,tried boiler dial low setting still very hot,,could it be the hot water sonsor failing at high setting ? I need to go back check it again..ordered new h w sonsor on the way. Thanks
Had one of these today and the whit clip at the top had part of the old manifold cracked inside it. Such a miserable job on my least favourite boiler!!

Although Worcester are notorious for leaking o rings to pin hole leak manifolds Working on these boilers is straightf forward.
