This was his first runway I think but he’s done modelling for magazines and ads, plus the boys do red carpet events where they need to pose for photos. So whilst it’s new in a way he’s also had a progression into it. What’s really cool is that it’s the women’s line of clothing that he’s modelling, he’s said several times that he’s interested in fashion and takes inspiration from both men’s and women’s clothing so the fact that he’s walking in this show is awesome. And yes Nicolas is a designer at Louis Vuitton.
Nicolas Ghesquière is the creative designer of LV's women line. Pharrell is the creative designer for the men line. That was the 10th year anniversary for Nicolas as the designer. Truly remarkable what he's done in terms of the personality of the brand and how much it has grown in the past decade. You wouldn't think of a man being the ambassador for a women line but I think it was really smart since the majority of Stays are women. I'm still amazed about that.
In terms of luxury fashion design for women, the majority of their creative directors are men. You must be new to the fashion industry not to know this.

I was watching the livestream waiting for him to do the red carpet stuff and then the pre-show interviews finished and I was like ...wait where is he? Surely he's not... walking?? They wouldn't have left him out the preshow stuff he's their ambassador. And then the show started and I was like- that looks like Felix!!! And was staring at the screen semi-burning the food I was cooking until he lead the final walk and I was so excited! I love that Felix had an interest in androgynous fashion, met Nicolas who designs the LV women's line, they got on so well he became an ambassador for the line and was chosen to walk the runway for Nicolas' anniversary show. The level of trust he must have in Felix, wanting to make him a key part of his design story is so cool. I'm so happy Felix is getting to do things he loves with people he seems to love a lot too. And that they invited his mum.

A lot of the fashions I saw on that runway are the ready-to-wear line. Some were evening wear, gowns, leisure wear, Met Gala designs, and the luxury bags. It was a varied range of styles but outrageously expensive of course. Felix is wearing party/club wear and that turtleneck was a dead giveaway for that.

I'm not sure if you know this but Felix is one of the House Ambassadors of Louis Vuitton. So that's why he was such a main event.

I was actually waiting for him in the audience since he is an LV ambassador and goosebumps when I saw him on the runway. It was surreal.
