//ABOUT ME
By day I'm a Functional Medicine Doctor and Chiropractic Physician. Outside of the office I have a lot of different hobbies and interests. Everything from cycling, home projects, wood working, and tinkering with my F150. I love doing DIY projects and just being a creator. Some have failed miserably while others have been a huge success. No matter the project there was always something to learn from each. There's a certain satisfaction from making something yourself. I've learned so much from other professionals and DIY'ers here on RUclips. This channel is dedicated to helping you tackle your own DIY projects and hopefully taking some of the mystery and fear out of the equation.

Thanks for sharing your first impression of the Radar Renegade AT Pros! We look forward to your upcoming videos 🙌
Appreciate the opportunity! Thank you
Thank You for the review. I've been researching tires for my Yukon and recently found a set of Radar Renegade AT-5's. I don't do off-roading but where I live we still have a lot of dirtroads and backroads, which we enjoy riding. The AT's will suit my needs just fine.
Gonna order soon, can't beat the price.

By the way, the Rattlesnake head should be up front, and the tail in the rear. 😊
Looks great that way!
Blessings from Georgia 🙏

Didn’t even notice the head and tail side until you pointed out. I just bought the A//T. I’m excited to put them on my LR3
I fricken love these A/Ts. So quiet and so smooth.
@@WillMosbey I can’t wait to find out! I have Goodyear mud tires right now, they’re a little noisy
Have you had a chance to try them in non-dry conditions? I live in northeast and about to get snow and always rain.
Bought a set of 35 r/t for my Sierra. Just purchased a set 33 pro for my Ram.
great video thank you, I photograph rattlesnakes and other vipers around the world so when I saw the rattlesnake design I ended my search and ordered some. Should be here this week. Curious how they handle in snow and rain.
We might be lucky to get 1 snow per year here in Charlotte (I know sad) but we do go up to the mountains near Boone often. They get a lot more snow up there. I'm curious as well. Thanks for the comment!
Have you had a chance to drive these in the rain yet and if so how did they do i have been looking st these tires but its hard to find any reviews about them and how they drive and wear and snow traction so thank you for your honesty on the miles you have been able to drive so far.
Finally drove them in the rain. They are great. No issues!
Hi. Great review. I would like to see how these tires do in snow ❄️???
I can firmly without doubt attest these tires do very well in the snow. I'm getting ready to do my 5,000 mile follow-up video which will include some footage from the mountains of North Carolina in a huge snowstorm. We received over 15 in in a day.
How are they performing a month later? I can only find two user reviews on the AT Pros. The other review stated they were returned bc the tires wouldn’t balance and had way too much vibration and wobble. Have you noticed any of this?
Nothing like that at all. I've been very impressed and very happy with them. Very quiet and the truck drives more responsive. I know that sounds made up but it's true.
What are you running for tire pressure? Everyone has different answers
I have 35’s I only tow once a week
Do you have a leveling kit on your truck? I have a 17 f150 with a 2 in leveling kit and looking for new tires. Im wanting to go with a 275/65/20 but i dont want to trim anything. Thank you for the review.
You should be fine with 276/65 and a 2 in. I have a 3 inch leveling kit on mine and I ran the Radar RTs at 35x12.5 with only rubbing in reverse.
@WillMosbey thank you for your fast response. With the price of these tires I may go a little wider.
I have ran the rts and the X. Going to get the at pro tomorrow lol great tires. 35x12.50r20lt
I wish I had a 6 in lift I'd run 35x12.5 as well.
I have a 16 ram 1500. Just a small level. 35x12.50r20lt with a negative 18 offset fit just right. No rubbing. I was surprised. My wife works at gm and they have tried to get to to switch but nope. I cant do it lol with dodge u don't need to jack up the truck like u do with the others. The wheel wells are way bigger on the dodge. The X was balanced easy didnt even aligned the truck yet and they ride pretty good as is. Not too noisy either.
I ordered mines but they ride after a couple months?@@laineyraedenise5899
Actually been looking at these since the start of the year... and they never left backorder status. Still listed as backorder in fact
I'm going to be doing a follow up video here soon. It's due. Good luck getting them.
Excellent video, can you give us an update?
Still loving them. They are really a nice tire.
Hi Sir, is 30mm wheel spacer from my ford ranger wildtrak is safe? Just recently installed 30mm KR 4x4 wheel spacers after installing new set of tires; 285/60 R18. Thanks
I've had the same question. I've always wanted to put a spacer on but haven't. I'm not convinced that they're safe.
@@WillMosbey Thank you very much sir for the quick revert.
What size tires are these and how did they compare to the true tire size?
I believe they are 305/60/R-20
How do you think these will do in the snow
Don't know. We get very little snow here in Charlotte. My guess is they'll do fine. But if we get some snow in the mountains I'll run up and give them a test.
How did they balance? Any vibration?
I just got an email from Radar yesterday. They asked how the tires were doing. I told them best I've had. No issues at all. Balanced perfectly even when we have big swings in temperature going from cold to warm and back to cold. Really like these tires.
Head up front tail in the back
How do these tires compare to the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT?
I actually don't know. I've never had a set of MT Baja Boss. But we just had a big snow storm a couple of weeks ago and the tires did great.
@@WillMosbey u must have a ton of miles on them by now. How is the noise? Is it still staying quiet. Do they get loud after mileage like your RTs did?
@@4535goldenage I need to do a follow up video. I've put just over 5000 miles on them. They still look and sound great. No issues.
@@WillMosbey awesome
Also 80+ mph noise/shake?
Nothing at all. I'll be testing it next week pulling the camper.
My order came deformed and having issues getting a replacement set. Barely just purchased the tires too last month.. Place that sold them and radar don’t wanna help me out so I’m probably stuck having to buy new tires. Good tire I guess but no support. Brand new tires and I can’t get over 55mph.
Man that sucks to hear. I wonder if you can reach out to Omni United directly for some kind of resolution?
Yea I did and they told me to contact the place I purchased from but. It’s been 2 weeks with no response so I assume I’m on my own and having to buy a complete new set of tires. Let’s just say definitely not buying radar again. I like the tire but like my safety allot more lol. Great video though 🙏🏽
@ericmaldonado8650 thanks for letting us know. It should be illegal to be sold inoperable tires!
Eric, the folks over at radar have been trying to respond to the comments here on my video but have been unsuccessful. They said to reach out to them directly at info@omni-united.com and they can help you find a resolution to your defective tires. Maybe reference this video.
@@WillMosbey I’m surprised I emailed them directly and they told me they couldn’t help. But not sure if maybe since you have a platform they are just giving you the run around because I sent an email to that exact email on the 14th of September and a Ms. Shetty sent me an email the following day saying to contact the seller for any warranty claims. So to be honest not sure what to think cause I haven’t had any luck.
How are they in wet road conditions?
I wish I knew. My truck has been in the shop with a coolant leak into the driver side turbo for 3 weeks now. I probably only got a chance to put 40 miles on the tires so far. Can't wait to get my truck back.
@@WillMosbey no problem hope you get it back soon
@@WillMosbey sry to hear that, I bought the 5.0 for that reason.
What psi do you put on these on pavement road use?
I'm running at 40
How are they holding up now that it’s been 7months?
Really good. I'll be doing a follow up video this weekend
@@WillMosbey I seen your at pro video I think I might go with those. I noticed you mentioned uneven wear on the tread.
In your opinion at pros better?
@@KingCuba0731 there's no uneven tread wear on the AT pros. The RTs definitely had a bit of that uneven tread wear which made them ridiculously loud.
@@WillMosbey awesome! Looks like I’m getting some AT Pros
The one they sent you made in China?
I would assume yes or Singapore. Or basically all around Asia.
Radar told me that they are made in Taiwan.
@@WillMosbey I found them in Walmart but the price is not cheap enough to buy them
Most tires are made in China. Even good years
Omg.. tire noise..!!! Those old tires..👎 well the noise is alot better.. sweet looking too
Yep we just went camping a week ago. Put about 500 miles on them pulling the 5th wheel. So nice to be able to have a conversation or listen to a podcast in the cab.
