    re: 1:49 "Train wasn't there" The railroads want their Main Track BACK FIRST. Then, they'll think about, maybe, call for the paramedic or fire dept.

    About three months ago I saw 58 in the Chicago yards doing its job not sure what happened to 73 though

    According to local news, the dump truck was contracted by UP to clear debris on the ROW south of the Fruitvale crossing. On the video here, there looks like a UP watch person assigned to the contractor. Obviously, couldn't get the dispatcher at UP Operations Control Center to hold trains in the area. When the gate arm drops, on average, a train will cross Fruitvale in about 20 seconds - the Amtrak and Capital trains run through here at about 50mph. Good video follow-up!
