Drop us a LIKE, A COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE if you haven't already. This is our ONLY CHANNEL! We don't own rights to have a second channel with Full Custom Garage content. See you all on Friday! ~ The Roussel's 👽👽
I just seen someone posting Ian's old shows under FCG Have you two seen it? Thanks for your videos and letting me come along!!🍻👊👽👍
I really really do enjoy watching your channel. Keep up the great work that you're doing 👍
Why do you not use a nibbler to cut your sheet metal? I'm sure you've been asked this before but I'd like to know
Yeah know what that means more talk no build where all ist to it now. You would get more done keeping your mouths shut and working lol
1938 cadillac spider 🕷...👈😮👍
Thank tou Ian for creating shows without the artificial " drama." I am a long time viewer of car shows. You keep it real and no artificial drama. I spent years waiting for Saturday, and Sunday shows and stopped when everyone went Uber drama. You are and your partner are a breath of fresh air
Thank you. We tend to shy away from drama and keep it chill for our sanity. Appreciate you!
Comfy chair, coffee cup, crazy custom Cadillac and cool conversation. Ian and Jamie at their usual best!
Thank you for watching, liking and commenting! We appreciate you!
Making my day with another episode of Ian and Jamie...love it!
The best words ever spoken,” Can you turn on the Welder please?”😁🤙🏼
Perfect Tact👏🏽
😂😂😂😂
That Caddy is going to be one cold ride! Love your work!
If it helps you on the English wheel, you have an English man watching you work while he is drinking tea.
Love the banter you guys have.
My husband and I kick back in our recliners to enjoy the videos on our big screen. The best viewing on TV. Thank you for opening the door and inviting us to hang out in the shop virtually. And knee pads are as much of a safety precaution as the eye muffs. Get ya some❤
Our pleasure!
Why wouldn’t we come back Ian.
We love you man.
Thank you! We will be back on Friday!
Thank yall for making the verbal audio better than the screams of the grinder that really makes the viewing experience way mo' gooder
Ohhh I couldn't bear to watch it if I had to listen to the grinder through the speaker ~ Jamie
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Your way of just going at it and going with the flow is inspiring. Youre not gonna sit there and ponder about it forever. Grab the material and see what happens, or just start cutting. "Do I look like a man who knows what I'm doing?" Yes, you do.
Gene said his thumb got stuck in the English wheel and took 9 months to heal. He also wasn't ware-n gloves . LOVE this show. You inspire
Oh Gene! The God Father of Kustoms! Long Live The King! 👑
You know you kinda have Talent! When you throw around names like Gene Windfield! Been watching you for years Mr.Rousell. I am truly inspired by your work of Art! Thank you for all you do!
Loving the banter between Ian and Jamie as Ian explains the hows and whys of what he does. The rear end of the car is going to look fantastic. Watch reruns of the "Dating Game" to see some funny stuff.
Thank you for going to RUclips I’ve been missing you for four years and now you are here
Dude your amazing I can’t wait for every new episode
Loved Sunday’s live show 😊❤
Thank you for tuning it to it! We had fun!
I appreciate the honesty in this episode. You admit not being sure and pull it off anyway
I love your sense of humor and you make a great couple doing the builds.
Ian has two things going here. #1 an incredible eye for this and # an excitement for learning new tool development. That bottom piece looks great.
Absolutely love watching you guys work, very inspirational. I’ve been watching you work for 20 years, never boring.
Thank you for the long standing support!
Ian, it would be super cool if you used the original Caddy tail lights !! That way you tie old with"OUT OF THIS WORLD" !
love how much more time you can spend on specific areas of each build!
I missed the Live but watched it after, it was so funny how Shadow kept showing up, and then Blu came in aswell, it's like they knew it was a Live and wanted in on it.😂
They were being such little stinkers....We found where Shadow was getting out of the fence later that day, and subsequently closed that little portal. She wasn't happy. LOL. Blue is a fence hopper.
@@fullcustomIan Blue will give Shadow jumping lessons..
Outstanding. Love the content. Actual fab and building. No endless commercials for giveaways
Yeah, we try to keep it as organic as possible. It is just us in the shop.
I absolutely love watching you two.. You can read each others minds, it seems.. Ian is a top notch fabricator!! And funny as sheet.. Lol
Thanks for inspiring me to work on my custom bobber. I’ve been working on it for ten years and almost ready for paint. It’s a XS650. The frame holds oil for a aviation style smoke system.
Right on!
Thanks for the tips on the wheel. Now im not as afraid to try mine out. You got great results quickly.thanks guys
Thank you Ian for the metal gauge update, keep up the great work you do, its an inspiration while I am proceeding forward with my restomod. May you have a great day!
Glad to help
Great video u didn't see in great detail of your car building skills on the TV show keep up the good work thanks to u both welldone 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you kindly!
Working on the tale section you mentions Patience a few times. I brought back a memory from my early years. Jamie may enjoy this one. My Dad was cleaning the air cleaners on his 1957 Pontiac that had Tri Power. My Dad was normally a calm person but the three air cleaners were hard to line up together. Dad got pretty ramie and I said "Dad have a little patience". He said " If I wanted to have patience I would have been a Doctor"
Wow love how you know exactly when to stop on the English wheel, 15:13 and achieve the look you want, my dad was a sheet metal worker for car company in his young days, always wanted me to follow in his footsteps, as he would say cars need repairing and metal don't shape itself
Yep, i like it as well that he is using the wheel this time around. Pushing his technical abilities along with his artistic flair. Man I am envious.
Appreciate that. Thank you.
I love how you are now free from all the cable BS and you can do as you please
Hi Ian, I’ve watched all the TV shows and can’t wait for each new episode of Full Custom Ian to come out, keep ‘em coming! Ross, Melbourne Australia!!!
More to come!
Watching your channel is like being a guest on FCG…only better. This channel gives the viewer a better idea of what it takes to make your vision into reality.
This is so true. Appreciate it!
Always a good time with y'all. Thanks for sharing with us.
You bet
Your a genius love the vibe you two work so well together ❤
Thank you so much!!
I really love how this is coming together
Always fun an enjoyable especially when you share your techniques/tricks of trade an I learn something new. Thanks
That was amazing to watch those 6" and 7" sheet panels come together. This car will be a classy one-off work of art. I look forward to your next adventure. Great filming by the way as your motions are very smooth and enjoyable to watch. Good Job.
Glad you enjoyed it
Aaah, Bob Barker ran a tight ship, alrighty...
Thanks for taking us body-shoppin' at the Roussel Ranch once again...
that rear end is looking freekin awesome 🤙🤙✅✅🇳🇿🇳🇿☕👽👽🍵
Glad you enjoyed it
Well Ian, I've always had the mantra "Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good". Some of my best work has been "Holy 💩 that actually worked!"
Right?! LOL
The Price is Right was the lead up for the Noon News in Pittsburgh. Facts you didn't know you needed to know. Very slick fit up on the Caddy.
The Pontiac version of the Chevy chevette was called the T1000
I love the direction you are going with this project. Keep up the great work, we love watching you from Quebec,Canada
Thank you so much!
I love you and Jamie and the way you do things on your videos. You both are so easy to listen to and your content is fantastic.
Our pleasure! We appreciate you!
Hey Ian, a valuable tip for shrinker, stretching or bead rolling is to English wheel first, break the grain then shrink or stretch the wheel to finish.
Makes life easier. I enjoy every episode great to watch. Thanks to you both.
Absolutely ties the backend up! It flows, it’s smooth I thought I was tripping watching it transform 😂 maybe a flashback from the days? Looking good! Good stuff!!
Agreed!
I like the peek on the center line of the trunk cover . Reminds me of a boat tail .. The lighting in the shop makes a reflection as a possible interesting belt line where the top would be..
You spend a lot of time on your knees on the concrete so I suggest you start protecting them because you will need them later
Looks good, i like that it still has that ridge from the tube, although it's horizontal, it still matches the car centre line and fender tops.
love your on the fly decisions, you have a gift ian….talented indeed!
So happy you are living your dream. Hoping only the best for you both. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so very much! ♥️😎😎
It's taking shape beautifully. I would like to have seen the top one inch bar split in the middle to continue the peak line you've created right to the back, but that's being picky.
I have been watching you on tv for years and now follow you on RUclips. Ian, you never cease to amaze me with your vision and skill. How you can take an idea in your mind and use anything to make that idea come to life. A SC fan.
Wow, thank you
That’s what used to be called power stretchers, those things you were talking about carpet layers use, kickers will do almost the same only not as much power behind the knee kick as the power stretchers do. Used to work with my older brother, he was a carpet installer. The Price is right is still on , twice a day too now, once in the morning and then again in the evening, they call it The price is right at night, or something like that! Drew Carey is the host. Adam Sadler is the owner or whatever of that now, I guess Bob left it to him, Adam Sandler or Sadler?
Every time I watch Ian make something out of just a vision, I think Roussel lines …possibly alien. Crazy cars in the desert how cool is that!!
Hardly ever get to see your videos on time but love catching up when I can
You are right on time. Thanks for commenting. ~ Jamie
Definitely taking very Nice Shape Ian and Good video Jamie
Thank you!
I’m in love with this channel I watched you on tv all the time and just recently found you on here and I’m so glad I did thank you for all your videos and hard work
Thank you so much!!
Ian I’m glad that victor is interested in your caddy because he comes up with a lot of crazy ideas for you to build. This creates very good and fun to watch content. Love it and have fun building. Hi Jamie
Hello!
Sunday was great love the dogs the ride through the desert was awesome
Ian, excellent ep. That back end is comin' along (impressive). cheers
Every episode makes a brighter day! Appreciate all you do and share. 💥💯
Thank you!!!
Love how it is coming together. I like the welding technique that you show us. It will definitely help me on my project. Thank you
Congratulations on 100K subs. Keep it coming, we’ll be here watching . Thank you.
Awesome! Thank you!
Ian, if you cut a piece of an inner tube that is as wide as your upper wheel when stretched over it and is tight you can get more shape with less work. This makes better use of the lower die. Give it a try on some scrap and you'll see the difference...
He has a rubber wheel for it.
That turned out sharp as a tack. Looks like it belongs. Rock on Ian & Jamie. Great camera work and support!👍😉😂👍👍🔥🔥
Trust the process, what a transformation. Pebble Beach watch out Ian and Victor are coming to blow your minds
Loving your work Ian and Jamie. I look forward to each new instalment.
Awesome, thank you!
smoothing vs. stretching! Looking good!
Ian, l am self taught and have just finished a 32 roadster pickup body, with the English wheel you can relax a curve by wheeling at the edge after which you can smooth it out by "washing" the panel with low pressure on the wheel; try not to cut the steel unless you want a sharper curve. Hope this helps just trying to let you avoid the learning mistakes l made. After all there is always bondo for us amateurs!
Hi Ian, Well done. I remember watching another craftsman use an english wheel but he had a couple of accessories you don't have. He had a cushion that was filled with sand to rest the metal piece that was being shaped. He also had a wooden bat to strike the metal.I'm sure you're familiar with these accessories. Wear the leather gloves so you don't cut yourself. Take care.
That rear panel really is looking great . I wasn't getting it at the beginning but you Shure pulled that off..👽👽👽👍
Right on
Jamie, great music selection! You are killing it. Ian you're pretty good too.😊
That was amazing Ian. It turned out great. You really are an artist.
Many thanks 🙏
Ian that rear deck setup is super boss, I’m so glad you’re doing something different, I just hope Victor doesn’t come along and say it just needs? I dig the shape of the curve because it’s not like the one in the picture! It’s unique! Let someone else come along and say ( no I want to do it like Ian did it). I’m totally digging 3 shows a week for sure! And Sunday was super cool because it was just all of you being you , thanks for allowing us in for the visit! As always love from Santa Cruz Ca.
Thank you!
Looking great. Slowly but surely. Have a good week. Marc from Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks 👍
Great show im learning alot watching you guys thanks
Holy sheet! That's some fine fabrication my dude!
Right?!
Its not easy making a tail pan, I made them for my rusted out 1937 & 1940 Willys coupes! George The GlassMan 👽👽👽👽
You are correct! Thank you!
That bottom curved piece looks really great
The Price is Right still airs here in Oklahoma on our CBS Affiliate KWTV 9 at 10:AM weekdays. Drew Carey is the host since 2001. It was one of my Mother-In-Laws favorite shows until she passed.
We've been binge watching the Barker Era on Roku Live TV
Awesome videos! Keep ‘em coming!
Thanks! Will do!
I have to this has probably been one of my favourite episodes, just the way you and jamie were chatting about watching the price is right ,i remeber watching bob on Happy Gilmore, but yeah just how there is never no bs just saying it like it is keeping it real thats why i so enjoy watching you Ian and Jamie you always brighten up my day
It's starting to take shape. Looks good.
Was thinking throughout the video if there would be access to the rear or a trunk, etc. and right at the end you talked about putting in a trunk - whew - was nervous for a bit
looking good Ian! good work Jamie!
Subscribed about 2 weeks ago and I am so happy that I get to see you on new projects. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next video
Thank you! Glad you are here! 👽👽
Can’t wait for Victor to show up and change things!!!!😂
You know it's going to happen
Thanks Ian and Jamie for sharing the videos I really get motivated to start back on my 67 c10 I’m 68 so I’m not as eager as I once was lol
If you are enjoying doing even just a little bit then you understand the assignment 🙏😎 Get out there! It may never get done and that’s ok! Enjoy the process ♥️ ~ Jamie
Amazing as always!
i'm impressed too Jamie ......thanks for the vid
Glad you enjoyed it
Coming along nicely
Live on Sunday was cool!!!! Thanks…..
Thank you for tuning in. It was fun!
You know it's going to happen
My brother is a panel beater and he used to own an English Wheel about 40 years ago. Weird thing is that here in England I've only heard it referred to as a wheeling machine.
Love the show coustom to the MAX SOM
Me and my wife love you guys and the content you only deserve the best and we support you ❤️
