Unfortunately, it's a very convoluted process using a program called XMLBCUI to check what number the default skin is on every character. You can try asking in the Marvel Mods discord if anyone has the reference for which skin is which. I personally just kept changing each one and checking in the game to make sure I replaced the right skin.

Are you able to change it under the primary settings? I only use the secondary in case I ever need to use the default keybinds. If you have more than one controller do they all have the same problem? If you only have the one controller it might be due to the drivers, but that's just a guess. If you have Steam running, try exiting it. @@bigmaneastside I'm not really sure why you would have that problem. Are you unable to change the keybinding into controllers inputs like I showed in the video? You're looking for the first X-Men Legends? That was never released on PC, only on GameCube, Xbox and PS2. If you want to play that game you'll have to buy it for the console or get the ISO and emulator. A Google search for the ISO will get you there but I can't recommend any sites.

@@jordantorres2139 If Jean showed up that means you're running the All X-Men mod. I've never had that problem before and I'm not sure what would cause that. I do at times have trouble cause Steam is running in the background and is taking over my controller, so try shutting Steam down if you have it running. Other than that I don't have any ideas. Do you have a different controller you could try?
Yeah, there's no way to actually increase the roster limit. The modders have figured out how to do it with Marvel Ultimate Alliance though, they expanded its roster to over 50 characters! Hopefully one day they can figure out how to do it for this game.
I've never had that problem before so I'm not sure how to help. If you have Steam running in the background try shutting that down, it sometimes causes my controller to act funny in games that aren't using steam. My only other guess is that you might have put the same inputs on different actions so like if you put the L3 button on both Attack and Menu keys, but the game doesn't really let you do that so I doubt that would be it.
No, the game doesn't need an emulator unless you want to play the console versions. XML1 was never released on PC so I don't think it's on that website, but it might be.
@@ItsAGoodChannel The modders have made some neat mods for I believe the GameCube version of XML1, if you're interested in that. If you want to learn more about it I recommend checking out their Discord server.
You kinda can install each one as they will each have their own executable file - Meaning you can only play one version at a time. It's not really efficient to do this as each version might overwrite another character, so if the last version you installed was Brotherhood, you will have everything that came with it, but if you try to run the X-Men version then some characters might be missing or invisible, so it's better to just install one of them. Also, if you're switching to a different version and you're able to load a save that you did not make on that version; don't run it. It will crash the game. A better way would be to just install the entire game 3 times in seperate folders that way you can have each version if that's what you want. The game is only 2.5 GB with the mods so it's not that much space required. If your question was to having all 3 running at once and having 100 characters in the game the answer is no, that's not possible, the engine can only handle having around 20 characters, which is why it's split into 3 packages.
@@LitchAzazel ok completely understand you thank you. I figured i would have to have multiple files to run everything. Is their an x-men legends 1 download link with mods. I looked at your video uploads and didn’t see any.!
@distantland1274 X-Men Legends 1 was never released on PC so modding is much more difficult. Some of the modders have created some for the GameCube version, but you would need to join their Discord if you want to learn more about it.
I installed these on my newest computer for the first time last night. The person who made these three mod packs said that if you install all three packs, do it in this order: All X-Men, All Brotherhood, then Marvel Universe. I did that and tried each one including the base game. I think everything is working as it should. It seems Scarlet Witch is supposed to be in both the Brotherhood version and the Marvel Universe version? This modification is supposed to give each version its own save file. I wish they would do something like this for MUA. I might like to do a separate mod that keeps Sunfire with the X-Men rather than the Brotherhood since he was on the X-Men's team at certain times, maybe dropping Dark Phoenix because Jean is already there. Maybe I can modify whichever character overwrites Sunfire to overwrite Dark Phoenix instead.
If you're on Windows 10/11 it should come with its own extraction utility that you can use. When you right click a program there should be an option that says extract.
I don't speak Spanish but I'm using Google Translate so I hope this gets translated correctly. Desea ejecutar el archivo XMENBUNDLE que crea el zip, olvidé mencionarlo en el video. Ejecutar XMEN2.exe solo iniciará el juego original.
Those skins will only show up in the All X-Men Edition, so make sure you're running it. If you only have 1 set of skins unlocked then you'll either need to input a cheat code or unlock the skins through gameplay.
They should be the same. I believe the only difference in downloading the CD version is that you would have to mount them with something like Daemon Tools. It's recommended to download the full rip instead as it comes with everything you need.
If the XMEN2 executable doesn't run for you then something must have went wrong with installing the game or your computer for some reason isn't able to run it. You might want to use the Readme that came with the game, it has some troubleshooting instructions and files in the dgVoodoo folder to help fix some specific issues. And if the XMEN2 exe isn't working then the XMENBUNDLE also won't work since it uses the base game files to run.
@@LitchAzazel sorry for all the questions, some reason the “Unlock all characters cheat isn’t working.” But the other cheats are, I should try it on a controller I assume?

The online servers for X-Men Legends 2 has been down for years, but, technically with another mod you can. To play online you will need to download a patch which you can get from the Marvel Mods discord server. Then you will need Hamachi to set up a virtual server. And lastly both you and the person you're playing with will need to have the same mods or else there may be some errors or crashes. Another way to play "Online" is through Parsec. This isn't true online as the other player will be connected to the host's PC so the game will think you will be playing local like couch co-op (Steam Remote Play functions similarly). This is the easiest way since only the host needs to have the game and mods.

I'm not sure why the XMenBundle file didn't appear for you, did you perhaps extract the ZIP to the wrong location?
@@LitchAzazelIt turns out I didn’t know that i was not able to load my original safe file from the vanilla version😅 but it’s okay! I wasn’t too far into the game, so I don’t mind starting over. The game is running fine and all of the characters are there such as Emma, Havoc, etc.
My only question now is it possible to remove certain characters from this “package” or version? (All X Men bundle.) The bundle is fine, however I’d like to swap out Jubilee and Magma for Sabertooth and Pyro. Is it still possible to remove them and add those two back in there?
@@pikablu9375 I don't know about doing it to the All X-Men Edition, but you can swap out characters in the base game to whoever you want, the All X-Men just makes it easier for people with no modding skills.
If you want to swap out certain characters though it's going to involve editing certain files and herostats that I don't know how to do, if you want to learn more about that you'll need to go to their Discord server and ask around.
But what you want to do is totally possible and the community has made tons of characters in XML2. Such as replacing say Nightcrawler with Spider-Man or Batman, etc.
GOD JUST thank you man!
Hey so I booted up the All X Men mod and I noticed that in Danger Room Mission 102 the crates don't appear after I finished DR Mission 101. How do I fix this and/or has anyone encountered this bug?
I don't know why that would happen. You might have to ask in the MarvelMods forum or Discord, it could be a bug they have to fix.
@@LitchAzazel I found out the bug was caused because I used someone not in the original roster (any character that's not Wolverine, Cyclops, Phoenix, Storm, Nightcrawler, Bishop, Colossus, Gambit, Rogue). So using anyone outlined in the brackets above will avoid that bug. Might also apply for the MUE and Brotherhood mods.
Also, does anyone know what the team bonuses are for the Marvel Universe Edition mod? Just curious what the teams are.
Yo! Can you help me? I cant get the game to work with the mod and i think i followed your tutorial correctly. Every time i boot up the new exe the mod puts and i load in my save the game crashes to desktop. The mod exe file now also has a differente name not sure if that matters its called "Xmen2_AXE" and not bundle.
Are you trying to load the save file from the original game? If so it's not compatible, you need to have the game create a new save file for the mod.
I'm not sure why it would be renamed to AXE unless a recent update changed the name. It's possible my video may be outdated.
@@LitchAzazel Oh ok thanks! 🙂I think that was it, i was using a save file from the original game. Thats a bummer tho i was already a bit advanced in the story. I guess I got to do that all over again. 😥
@@TauFireWarrior9001 Yeah, it sucks to have to start over, but the game has so much replayability, especially when you want to do different builds with different characters that it's not so bad.
@@LitchAzazel Ok, thanks for the help! 👍😀
I'm sorry, I'm a little confused trying to find the herostat numbers to add new costumes. I just want to replace the default skins for Magneto, Storm, and Rogue. I know Cyclop' number is 0103, I tried that and it worked, but I'm having trouble finding the numbers for the rest. Can anyone tell me what they are?
Unfortunately, it's a very convoluted process using a program called XMLBCUI to check what number the default skin is on every character. You can try asking in the Marvel Mods discord if anyone has the reference for which skin is which.
I personally just kept changing each one and checking in the game to make sure I replaced the right skin.
@@LitchAzazel Thanks. I don't have Discord but I'll sign up for it and give it a shot.
This would be cool in marvel vs Capcoms format, like the moves and the characters frames, just made 3D somehow, maybe simple equilateral triangle models, and octahedrons, and like, a faster frame rate and more frames, and like, maybe kind of like ... Umm virtual ons point of view, and with dual stick
Triangle models?
Octahedrons?
Virtual ons point of view?
Exactly what are you trying to ask here?
Is it possible to replace characters after the mod is installed? Add Magneto into All xmen edition for example?
I honestly don't know since I've never replaced characters before.
To answer your question, yes, you can still replace any characters in these packs.
Dumb question about controller setup I hope you can help with! When I click on the "Secondary" button I want to assign it auto selects the button I used to click. If I try to select the button i want instead - nothing happens! Basically, I cant get the secondary button I wish to use to highlight to allow me to assign it
Are you able to change it under the primary settings? I only use the secondary in case I ever need to use the default keybinds.
If you have more than one controller do they all have the same problem? If you only have the one controller it might be due to the drivers, but that's just a guess.
If you have Steam running, try exiting it. Steam sometimes takes control of a controller and makes it act like a mouse and causes problems in games that are ran outside of Steam.
@@LitchAzazel Thank you! Not sure what the actual fix was but drivers updated and Steam closed seemed to work! Thank you!
Can you download all three and put them in the same folder and run the one you want to play when you want to? Or will that mess up the engine as well?
I'm not too sure, the only problems I think you might have is if the characters overwrite an existing one.
@@LitchAzazel I forgot to ask. But how do I get XML2 to recognize my Xbox one controller? Every time I plug it in it shows Xbox one configure at the bottom right corner in advanced settings but I still can't use it. In other words it knows it there but I can't use it. Do you know how I fix this?
@@bigmaneastside I'm not really sure why you would have that problem. Are you unable to change the keybinding into controllers inputs like I showed in the video?
This may sound random, but do you have Steam installed? Whenever I have controller issues it's because Steam is using my controller even if I'm not playing anything on Steam.
@@LitchAzazel I got it to work I used the button configuration like you did in the video. Didn't realize I had to use my mouse to help me set it up lol
The first Legends is on the website, but not the full-rip option, do you know of any other sites where I can play?
You're looking for the first X-Men Legends? That was never released on PC, only on GameCube, Xbox and PS2. If you want to play that game you'll have to buy it for the console or get the ISO and emulator. A Google search for the ISO will get you there but I can't recommend any sites.
I see, thankyou 🤝🏻
Heya, so when I try to run the application, it says that it’s missing a bunch of programs. Is there a way to fix this?
Are you trying to run the mod without installing the game first? You need the game in order for it to work.
You could try moving the files from the DGVoodoo folder. There should be a readme on where to put them.
What does it say you're missing?
@@LitchAzazel nvm, I forgot to extract the zipped folder😅 it’s currently at 8% rn with more than a day left to extract everything. I’ll let you know once it finishes
Okay so quick update, I’ve got the modded game running (at least I’m assuming it’s the modded one cuz it started me off with Jean instead of Magneto for some reason?). The only problem I’m running into is the controller. Whenever I assign my camera controls, it resets everything else. Is there a way around this?
@@jordantorres2139 If Jean showed up that means you're running the All X-Men mod.
I've never had that problem before and I'm not sure what would cause that. I do at times have trouble cause Steam is running in the background and is taking over my controller, so try shutting Steam down if you have it running. Other than that I don't have any ideas. Do you have a different controller you could try?
Any cheats for X-Men Legends 1?
Hello, when I click on the new mod, it doesn’t work like it doesn’t want to open
Are you running the XMENBundle file? And does the base game work when you run it?
Can professor x still be unlocked as the game progresses?
In the All X-Men or other mod packages, no.
yes with this mod magneto and the old character is gone very good, i think this mod add more space for rooster character but it's just replace
Yeah, there's no way to actually increase the roster limit. The modders have figured out how to do it with Marvel Ultimate Alliance though, they expanded its roster to over 50 characters! Hopefully one day they can figure out how to do it for this game.
There's totally 62 space in marvel ultimate alliance rooster mod but have 50 characters total when try to mod to addition 63 space the game crashed
Any tips on why my analog stick is going crazy while trying to change characters & abilities? It keeps switching like crazy
@@LitchAzazel I’ll relook over my controls! Thank you 😊
Did you have trouble switching though power abilities on controller? It doesn’t give me the option to change it
@@xiaomain1963 you mean like changing the abilities to a different spot ?
Hey, I just have 2 questions:
1. Do you need to download an emulator first?
2. Is the first X-Men Legends also available on the same site as part 2?
No, the game doesn't need an emulator unless you want to play the console versions.
XML1 was never released on PC so I don't think it's on that website, but it might be.
@@LitchAzazel Oh okay, cool. I'll check to see. I didn't know XML 2 came out on PC. Thanks for the quick response.
@@LitchAzazel I checked: IT'S THERE!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I never got to finish it because for some reason my screen turned green when I met Psylocke in NY.
@@ItsAGoodChannel The modders have made some neat mods for I believe the GameCube version of XML1, if you're interested in that. If you want to learn more about it I recommend checking out their Discord server.
@@LitchAzazel Awesome. Thanks, man I really appreciate this, you have no idea.
Can You Do More Than One Mod ? Like Do All Three U Mentioned In The Videos Or Will That Mess anything up?
@@LitchAzazel oh, OK figures. In my opinion x-men legends 1 has better gameplay, then part two. Thanks so much.
You're going to hold up.
Winrar dont work for me!! What can I do?!
If you're on Windows 10/11 it should come with its own extraction utility that you can use. When you right click a program there should be an option that says extract.
No me funcionó, luego de extraer el archivo ¿No debo hacer más nada?
I don't speak Spanish but I'm using Google Translate so I hope this gets translated correctly.
Desea ejecutar el archivo XMENBUNDLE que crea el zip, olvidé mencionarlo en el video. Ejecutar XMEN2.exe solo iniciará el juego original.
@@LitchAzazel Gracias bro❤

@@ktc3733 🤣🤣🤣not even using Google Translator. But the RUclipsr is so kind.
Friend, the character skins don't appear for me, what do I do?
Those skins will only show up in the All X-Men Edition, so make sure you're running it. If you only have 1 set of skins unlocked then you'll either need to input a cheat code or unlock the skins through gameplay.
@@LitchAzazel and which part of the game do I unlock these 90s skins?
@@PedroHenrique-kl1tl The 90s Jim Lee skins aren't in the original game, I modded them in.
The All X-Men Edition does come with most of them though.
@@LitchAzazel Can you tell me a website where I can get these skins to install in the game folder? and how to install them? please?
Are these steps the same if I downloaded a CD download of the game?
They should be the same. I believe the only difference in downloading the CD version is that you would have to mount them with something like Daemon Tools.
It's recommended to download the full rip instead as it comes with everything you need.
I cannot run in my PC
How do I run the XMENBundle? The XMen2 app didn’t run for me?
If the XMEN2 executable doesn't run for you then something must have went wrong with installing the game or your computer for some reason isn't able to run it. You might want to use the Readme that came with the game, it has some troubleshooting instructions and files in the dgVoodoo folder to help fix some specific issues.
And if the XMEN2 exe isn't working then the XMENBUNDLE also won't work since it uses the base game files to run.
Thank you!
Do you use a controller to play? If so any recommendations ?
@@LitchAzazel sorry for all the questions, some reason the “Unlock all characters cheat isn’t working.” But the other cheats are, I should try it on a controller I assume?
@Rheen Pascal Yes, you do need a controller for the cheat to work. The All XMEN Edition i believe comes with everyone unlocked though.
@@Rheenpeter I use an 8BitDo Pro 2. It's a Nintendo Switch controller but it also works for PC and Android. I used to use a SteelSeries Stratus Duo but the R3 button stopped working on it, but outside of that it was my favorite controller.
Can you also do this on PS3? PS4?
No, mods are only available on PC.
@@LitchAzazelDamn...alright
You can't even play this on either of those, what?
Do voice lines work
Most of them do have voice lines though it depends on the character. A lot of these were imported from the console versions or even XML1.
Can you do one for boosters please?
I've never used the Boosters so I don't know how to install them. They might have a tutorial on the Marvel Mods RUclips channel.
Can you play online with this?
The online servers for X-Men Legends 2 has been down for years, but, technically with another mod you can.
To play online you will need to download a patch which you can get from the Marvel Mods discord server. Then you will need Hamachi to set up a virtual server. And lastly both you and the person you're playing with will need to have the same mods or else there may be some errors or crashes.
Another way to play "Online" is through Parsec. This isn't true online as the other player will be connected to the host's PC so the game will think you will be playing local like couch co-op (Steam Remote Play functions similarly). This is the easiest way since only the host needs to have the game and mods.
is the download website safe?
Both MyAbandonware and MarvelMods are completely safe.
@@LitchAzazel ok tysm!
