MJ vocals weren’t autotuned or tampered with these are raw vocals MJ is one of the only artist to have perfect pitch he was a commodity and truly one of a kind PERIOD! Long Live The King Of Music Forever!✍🏽👑💖💫🎯💯
MJ vocals never had pitch correction. In a lot of tracks he's a bit sharp, or flat. Those vocals were from later "Thriller" reissues, where they remastered everything to sound as loud as today's records.
Yes, true. It's a pity people say such things, these kind of videos tend to start rumors, that just ruin MJs legacy. I have no idea why people don't chexk before making a video...
There was no autotune in 1982.... in the Quincy Jones vs Estate/Sony trial an expert witness testified how on later releases (late 90s early 2000s engineers at Sony tampered with the original recordings basicaly ruining the balance Bruce Swedien and his engineers worked so hard on. The expert witness made a video about his testimony, I can put here the link, if you're interested.
These are not the original vocals. There’s a video on RUclips where a guy plays the original & these. These are from a rerelease in the 00s. Honestly many of these stems floating around aren’t originals but are from rereleases

@@BarkadaMusic You're welcome.😉
I think they added auto tune to some of the background vocals on later releases of Thriller, but the original release didn't have pitch correction

Thank you for this reaction! There even exist raw tracks where you can even hear MJ howling the wolf himself in the beginning of the song

Correction - Autotuning came in end of the 90's to help the kiddies without ears to sing, like Britney etc
