Hi FlyingBackhendl, I hope you are doing well. About the thumbnail images in taste theme, these thumbnail images are shown from the different section of the file. We need to add similar condition in that section as well.

Glad to know that this tutorial was helpful for you! About hiding the other variant images in case of enlarged view we need to make changes in a separate files of Shopify's dawn theme which handles the display of such model dialog of Shopify. We need to add similar condition in those files as well.

So I followed this tutorial plus the one regarding variant metafield, but no images actually shows anymore. I don't find where I did a mistake. Using Dawn 11.0. edit: My filenames use "-" as a separator between words, and not "_" . Is it a problem?
Hi @AtomikBanane, we have tested with the '-' as separator in the name and the current logic to show selected variant's images is working correctly. Can you please confirm that in your case, an image (featured image) is assigned to each of the product variant for the given Shopify product? Please refer these steps to assign the image to product variant. help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/product-media/add-images-variants
