    Hi! Thanks for the tutorial and the detailed explanation.
    I did everything as described and ended up having the right images as stacked but every other images as thumbnail in the variation.
    I use the taste theme with thumbnail images. What do I have to adjust in this case?

      Hi FlyingBackhendl,
      I hope you are doing well.
      About the thumbnail images in taste theme, these thumbnail images are shown from the different section of the file. We need to add similar condition in that section as well.

    Hi,
    Thank you so much for the detailed tutorial. Been seaching for this.
    I have a bit of an issue though - I have added custom image swatches. When I add your code only the image of the first variant is displayed - all the other variant featured images don't show.
    Can you please assist?

    Good Work but Does it work if we have two layers of variants , like color and size. Where to add metafield image name in such case ?

      Hi, the same metafield will work in two layers of variants as well

    I also followed both tutorials and have got only the variant images to show, so thank you for this! But when you click to enlarge any of the images, other variant images show - any ideas how to fix this or if I have done something wrong?

      Glad to know that this tutorial was helpful for you!
      About hiding the other variant images in case of enlarged view we need to make changes in a separate files of Shopify's dawn theme which handles the display of such model dialog of Shopify. We need to add similar condition in those files as well.

    Thank you for posting this. I've tried to implement the code on our store, but I'm having issues with the featured image and variant thumbnails showing up correctly. Is there a way you could check out our storefront?

    Does it function with the ´´ride´´ theme?

  • @AtomikBanane
    @AtomikBanane 10 месяцев назад

    So I followed this tutorial plus the one regarding variant metafield, but no images actually shows anymore. I don't find where I did a mistake. Using Dawn 11.0.
    edit: My filenames use "-" as a separator between words, and not "_" . Is it a problem?

    • @scaleupprint
      @scaleupprint  10 месяцев назад

      Hi @AtomikBanane, we have tested with the '-' as separator in the name and the current logic to show selected variant's images is working correctly.
      Can you please confirm that in your case, an image (featured image) is assigned to each of the product variant for the given Shopify product? Please refer these steps to assign the image to product variant. help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/product-media/add-images-variants
