I’ve slept on The Weeknd for too long, I’ve always liked some of his songs but never explored into his music so when this album dropped I decided to give it a shot and explore it and I wasn’t disappointed I was very very impressed and entirely shocked by how amazing his music is. The weeknd’s lyrics and music beat are polar opposites to each other
They reflect that on the outside he’s trying to enjoy his life and be happy
But on the inside he’s still deeply sad by his traumas
