I have a Lindwash, the Lindhaus one, and I really like it. And yes, you definitely want to vacuum first, these aren't meant to clean up dry dirt. I got mine to use at my house on the LVT, and I use the Lindhaus alcohol detergent that evaporates with the water, rather than applying something first and rinsing with it. Its no more difficult to use or clean up than those Bissell type ones with the paint roller in them, its just a bit bigger, but it works one hell of a lot better.
Nice machine. My next machine will be some sort of counter rotating floor scrubber such as the rotowash, power wash or Namco floor wash or duplex. There are some pretty amazing videos of those types of machines erasing soil in commercial carpet and I like the one step process for hard floors (following vacuuming of course). Presently on tile and grout I vacuum, pre spray, scrub with oreck then rinse with my small Karcher extractor. LVT I use a neutral floor cleaner and scrub and mop with orbiter.
Are you happy with this Karcher 30/4 model machine as I am looking at buying one to clean our home’s laminate floor. We have a lot of laminate floor in our bedrooms and living areas and tiles in toilet and bathrooms so we are looking for a reliable machine that will not damage our laminate floor as I do not want to mop manually. Would you recommend this Karcher model or another brand/model?
It works well enough but wiping the floor after with a microfibre flat mop will pick up a little film so it does not leave the floor totally spotless. The Bissel spin mop or similar machine will work well and will not leave anything behind.
@@OxyDryCarpetCleaningKelowna The Bissel spin mop is cordless from the looks of it and battery only lasts 30 mins. The fresh water and dirty water tanks are very small as well. Our home is quite big so I am looking at hard wired solutions in New Zealand. Do you mean the Karcher unit will damage the protection film on top of the laminate in scrub + dry mode as I need to scrub with little water as possible and dry it at same time? Any other wired recommendations please if this Karcher is not good for majority laminate and some tiles cleaning?

I tried my Rotowash on carpet and did not like it at all, too clumsy for my liking.
