I really want to thank you so much for recording this and putting it on RUclips!! When I was younger, before the arthritis in my hands made it impossible for me, I used to play the guitar and sing. This song is one that I used to regularly cover, but when I did it back then (80's-early 2010's), I would always leave off the last verse and simply end the song with the second to the last instead, because, as I would always say, "I have never, in all my life, hated ANYONE badly enough to be able to sing those words." But the last several years I actually *have* been able to sing that final verse of this song, but since I can't play anymore I could only just sing along to a recording of Dylan or Ed Sheeran doing it. Now I can sing all alone to this version instead, so thanks again. Very, VERY much!! 😁
That's amazing! Thank you so much for your lovely message. I'm so glad that you are enjoying the track, it really means a lot to me. I hope you feel ok, I'm so sorry your arthritis prevents you from playing guitar. That must be incredibly tough. Stay strong 💪 and keep on singing! 🎵🎶😊
