I have watched & rewatched this video so many times! You have inspired me to move from my disc bound planner back into a bujo again. I was wondering if you could show us how you go through a typical day in this notebook, like you did in an earlier video in your Filofax. I'd also be curious to see how you document any new appointments/events happening in the future (within the current journal & in next 6 months or year). Thank you so much for your videos, and for sharing your planning with all of us!
@@Addicted2Planning it's going really well! I've missed having those blank pages & being able to change things up mid month if I find something isn't working for me 👍
Glad you're back! I love the simplicity and functionality of your planners. Would love to see a bound planner flip through or maybe how you set up a new month, whenever you get the chance. No rush lol 😁😁😁
I am so happy to see you back!! 😁 I’m currently in a ring planner, but just bought a Stalogy. I’m trying to get back to basics to help me find planner peace and use. I don’t use my planner as I should because I need to work on function first. Sorry for the rambling! 💜
K.Maries Life you’re not rambling. Lol. Planner peace is so elusive; just when you think you’ve found it, your life changes and it needs to be tweaked again. I agree to keep it simple, especially if you find you’re not using it. If it’s too much work, you won’t WANT to use it... and it has to work *for* you. Thanks for watching!!
I've seen many times the calendex method but still keeping the original method of Ryder. But from now, you definitively convince my to adopt this method. Instead of boxes, I will add at the end of the line a @ follow by the date and optionally the time and underline the date/time. Underlying is enough for my to have a birds-eye view when searching. Thank again for the video :)
Awesome, it especially helps if you have many future tasks to keep track of. The future log method in the original version just can't hold everything for me. :) . Thanks for watching!
I just bought my new hard bound BJ and I came to get a refresher on how you set it up and migrate then I saw that you are back! Yeah!!! I love your video's the best! I always come back if I have a question. I've been in and out of rings too but I need the blank pages with me. I'm going to set up the Future logs like you just showed and get back into my BJ. Can you show the current month next? I understand that you only need the 5 here but I'd like to see the current month too. Thanks for showing us your BJ!!!
Anne Marine thanks for watching AND your comment. I’ve just moved into a Hobonichi Weeks, but will probably still do a video on past Bullet Journals because I think there were a few requests about my set up. :)
So happy to see this!! Being a lefty I am drawn to the book bound planner. But forward planning makes me nervous. You have some great tips!! Since you color code...do you jot down the appt and then put in your journal when you have your colored pens or highlighters? I can't imagine getting out my supplies at the Dr/dentist office but LOVE your system.
I'm so happy you are back with another video. It was so helpful. I will give the methods you mentioned a go. I am using a bujo on and off for years and always stopped because of the forward planning. Especially when I was in school, but I think this method should work :) Thanks for making this video. I hope to see more. I love your handwriting and your bujos!
Vi Isaac awww, I am hoping to put up a video very soon! I haven’t figured out my editing situation yet since I got a new computer or if my Iphone is going to be enough. My goal is to film and upload a new video before my birthday which is in two weeks 😊
So happy to see you again on RUclips ! I love the bullet journal method and it is very useful for special moments in my life, but I’m to lazy to set up pages on long term so I usually go back to my Filofax. I really enjoyed your Filofax set up and I was hoping to see you again with this planner but thank you for sharing your forward planning method. I’m currently looking for a method to organize a 9 months online course and it may be useful. I’m open to suggestions ! How do you organize your monthly tasks ?
Thanks!! I got lazy printing, cutting and punching my filofax DIYFish pages... setting up pages doesn't take me too long and I can pretty much do it wherever/whenever. But I do miss my filofax sometimes. Your question about monthly tasks, do you mean current monthly log? Or recurring tasks each month?
@@Addicted2Planning I totally understand about printing and cutting inserts. That's why I only use ptintables for yearly and monthly inserts and grid inserts for the rest of my planner. My question is more about your monthly log. Is your calendex enough to see at a glance your appointments and tasks? Or do you use monthly and weekly log?
Coconut dance oh! I totally have a weekly & monthly log.... after uploading I thought I should have spent more time with that part. I may need to do a part II with a deeper dive. Lol
We missed you!!! Thanks for the video. Do you still use the GTD method? I would love to see how you incorporate some GTD in a notebook, if you do weekly or monthly reviews.
Rose Neville Thanks! Day to day I use an InkJoy 0.5 Gel pen (retractable)... to draw my calendex though, I’ll use a sharpie pen (not marker)... if you let it dry a min or two it won’t smear with highlighters. 👍🏻
Your calendex acts like your future log, and I think it's great. Thanks for the video.
HippoDino Reserve thanks for watching!! :)
You do you girl, stay away as long as you like - but I am always super happy to see a video from you!
Lauren Dunphy LoL :) thank you!!!
Great to have you back!! Would love a video on your entire bujo setup!
Bridgett Edwards thank you!! Added!! :)
I was excited when I received an alert! Great video! Thank you.

Colleen thanks! What’s a PWM?
@@Addicted2Planning A plan with me video! I learn so much from watching people plan in the moment.

love your planners! can you do a current planner flipthrough?
Diane Rabinovich added to list! :)
Love this, but what black pen do you use? It looks rather thick and looks nice. I like that you highlighted the weekends in the calendex :)

Melanie how are you
Tell us how are you and your family doing, and your planning of course. Lot of love!
Hi! Doing great. Hope to record a video (finally) tomorrow. Hope you and yours are well also!
