This ¿makes me feel lucky I grew up listening to this stuff since I was a tiny kid. My parents did have quite the taste in music.
Same. I'm in my early 50s and lost my wife to cancer last year. I'm also raising our daughter as well. This music is medicine for my soul. I couldn't survive without it. =)

I think they are referring to the great 3 dog night. Easy to be hard. A 70s band.

Bon... Dans l'absolu, c'est sympa... Certes... Mais bordel... Je préfère mille fois l'album original...
@@versus8184... C'est le même album, sous le même nom, en fait. Sauf que la première édition de certain titre était différente. L'album était garni de nombreux échantillons sonores prit à d'autres artistes, vraisemblablement utilisé sans droit légal. Méthode de petit artisan qui bricolait dans son coin à échelle locale, très courante dans les années 80 et 90. Bref, c'était l'époque du "pas vu pas pris ". Le problème, c'est qu'avec le temps, le disque est devenu un immense succès visible jamais démenti, et une référence internationale du genre. Résultat, quelques années plus tard, dans les années 2000/2010 je crois, certain titres on été modifié pour les rééditions numériques officielles. J'imagine, que les négociations avec certain ayant droit, ne se sont pas passé pour le mieux. Résultat, pour éviter des poursuites judiciaires, ces fameux échantillons problématiques ont été remplacé par des pseudo ersatz réinterprété, beaucoup moins beau et savoureux à l'oreille. Je ne sais pas si on peut encore trouver l'édition originale de 97/98. Perso, je suis content d'avoir toujours en ma possession, la version originale cartonné collector 2 CD, acheté à la fnac à l'époque, qui crache du bon sample de vinyl à l’ancienne ^^
@@versus8184 ... Théoriquement non. Mais tu dois pouvoir le trouver d'occasion, probablement à un tarif extrèmement prohibitif. Et en vinyl aussi, je pense. Fait gaffe à ne pas te faire refourguer la version légale à un prix de contre bande. ça serait dommage de se faire escroquer ^^

les bonnes infos. Le mieux, ça reste quand même d'aller voir ça sur Discogs. C'est à ça que ça sert. Au pire, tu demandes dans les commentaires de la page de l'album. Tu finira bien par avoir la réponse.

You can so tell there's less samples here than there should be. The re-recorded instrumental is good, but that re-recorded quote at the beginning...yeah, not good.

"49 F****** YEARS OLD" Was that really necessary? Ruined a good song.
There was a different sample that reinforced the vibe. Then license hounds came sniffin' and he had to replace it with that one. Does not fit as good as the old one, that's true. You can still find the old version and compare yourself.
