You CAN do full-length races. Maximum time depends on irl race time.
Why would you want to play a 90 minute full fifa game anyway???
You can, his game just had a glitch where when you try to set a custom distance in "advanced options", it might get stuck and you have to reset the sessions before changing.
I would think it has todo with increased time progression. If it is set to 10x, 2:24 would equal 24h simulated time, which is probably the limit here.
@@zeekot4064 2x45 minutes=90minutes? The question is why would anybody NOT want that option? And i can answer this. The kids today are unable to focus more than 5 minutes on a single thing, very well trained by YT shorts and Tic-crap-Toc. So game developers think noone would ever go for a full distance. But they are wrong. You should at least have to OPTION to play 2x45 minutes. Can't be THAT hard.
Im glad jimmy mentioned the cars rotating really easy at low speeds. Ive had the same experience and im like man is it just me?

There is some visual damage in the final race at Portimao, his car is a bit dented and when he hits the ferrari gte, that car is dented too
Apart from that hilarious bug the game looks and sounds great, hope it can get better because it has a lot of potential
Disagree with "sounds great". Watch some onboard video feeds from the 2023 Le Mans. Cars sound much more alive. The cars in this game sound muted. Like it's simulating the driver wearing ear plugs, with noise cancelling headphones over them, and a soundproof helmet over that. I love Le Mans and multi-class racing, but this takes me out of the experience instantly when the sounds are terrible. This game is a solid pass. Especially when the AI decides to start committing Seppeku for Jimmy's amusement.
@Jimmy Broadbent Hey Jimmy just thought I would point something out not sure if matter but your brake may need a little deadzone as some times when you power out of the corner your brake is still on 1% to 2% ❤
I really like the sounds in this game
I cant get past the race start, every time, crash to desktop after the grid is loaded. 4080 with 7800X3d and 32gb dr5 6000. All drivers up to date, no idea what is wrong.
Messing with the settings a bit worked for me

I would give up on single player . At least for now multiplayer has been working a lot better for me and the racing is clean
It was MSI Afterburner for me, turned it off and LMU didn’t crash every time.
It took me ages to dial in the ffb and graphics etc, but once it was done, I’ve had good fun with it racing AI tbh. It’s met my expectations so far, it’s an alpha, and not a bad one.
Put lemon juice on the wires/ Jynx will not like them then. Will also say, the wind noise from the long straight had me looking out my window a few times thinking it be storming outside, lmao.
And adjust amout in fuel tank, thats caught a few out in track pace.. 🎉
Jimmy, if you change race time in advanced options you wont have that issue
I managed to have an 18min race P2 / GTE around Monza and other than the track map being upside on the loading screen - it actually worked, 😳
And everybody got through T1 even though the game mixed the grid up something rotten and the rolling start is at 3mph 🤣
What setting took away all the car movement? The car is bouncing all over the place in cockpit view for me.

Is it just me, or are the sound effects in this game very lackluster? In a racecar, there's a LOT more sounds in the cockpit. The engine sound also sounds like in a partially soundproof room outside the car.. It just feels wrong.

I feel like the sim market is really oversaturated right now. At a certain point you cant do enough to differentiate yourself. I also dont feel like there's enough true arcade racing games.

He was playing 104 Difficulty, 50 aggression and 5 variability in the first race before lowering it to 101 in the other races

GT7 is 10 times better for endurance than this at this stage of development
The longest GT7 single player race is… one hour. No multi class racing, horrible engine and tire sounds, dull ffb on direct drive, it is not even in the same league as this or acc. Don’t get me wrong, I played every GT game and I love the series, but sadly GT7 is not near the game as it should be. Le Mans Ultimate is all ready miles ahead in pure racing feel, imagine this game after a year of tlc…

assetto corsa, while being great, i don't like how much there is missing if i want to run an endurance race
no full course yellows, no safety car, no driver swaps, no time limits, no slow zones, no rolling starts, no real time weather, etc
sure, i can have some things with mods, but the experience isn't good enough for me, as a sports car racing fan

@@joaquingonzalez834 One other important aspect is the AI dealing with slower traffic. It's definitely best in class in LMU. It's not perfect but pretty much every other sim has a terrible time not getting bottled up all the time. In LMU I've had battles through traffic and even watched the AI battle each other while weaving through traffic. That is probably the most impressive improvement I've seen from LMU.
