Even on his way out, J-Law’s quotes were so great. “I’m not supposed to be here,” as he’s on the podium for Washugol Nationals. Anyone else would be like, “I earned this,” and he just came out with, “yea, I’m not supposed to be here.” Hahaha. It’s cool seeing him do the Florida scene and it would be awesome to see him go back to LLs just to throw it in there.

Crazy that you making this was around the time of the first Red Bull day in the dirt at Dade City Mx and he was there. And I got a pic and video of him doing a Burn out.
J law made motocross better! Bar banging, fist swinging and partying makes motocross cool! Today dudes have to apologize if they bump into someone... its kinda gotten lame!
Just remember, it didn’t end well for J Law. Rubbing’s racing until someone gets knocked down or knocked off the track let alone an injury. The only place where an overaggressively pass is accepted is in the last corner of the last lap. We can call that old school if you want. I know you hockey fans want them to be gladiators but I’d rather see them have long careers. We missed out on half of J Law’s career where he would be battling with dung and villo. But, hey, he gets credit for making them better. I see it as an example of what not to be as he lost out on millions.
J-Law needed to be gone. Bar banging and rubbing elbows is fine, but when guys start taking people out and hurting other riders, it’s gone to far. Then you have his piss poor attitude and partying and alcohol and stuff. This sport doesn’t need that kinda guy around. I’d rather have RV2, Dungey, Stewart, Reed, Carmichael, Barcia, Tomac, Webb, and Anderson type guys who put on good races, are class acts, and don’t think they’re a big shot. That’s what makes you a great athlete, and person is humility. Jason had none of that. Could’ve been a multi time champ, and one of the greatest to line up, but he through all of that away because had a completely crappy attitude.
You can be a fan of JLaw, appreciate him, and ALSO acknowledge that he wasted massive talent. Those are not mutually exclusive. I can also say the AMA/Feld/MX Sports didnt market him properly. Didn’t appreciate him. But he also made it ridiculously hard on them. All can be true.
