Spent six years with a beautiful , amazing woman that I loved so much with everything that I had , gave her my life , my soul. I basically worshipped her and one day she just up and decided that she didn't want me anymore. Its a cold feeling when you know you did everything I could , gave so much of myself , told her I loved her every day , did my best to show it , never talked bad about her or to her , would often times make myself the bad guy when I knew she was wrong but wanted to keep her happy.... But in the end she wasn't happy and there was nothing I could do to stop her from driving away. I'll always love her though , even if I move on I'll always love her and wonder what she's doing , hoping that she's happy and it's going to slowly kill me knowing that I wasn't good enough to keep her. Through all of this I don't know if love is real , romantic love anyway. I can't help but feel that it's just something manufactured by card companies. I think now a days love is more about convienence than the heart. Maybe I'm just too hurt to even comprehend what it all means anymore. My advice to everyone that's in a loving relationship , take care of your partner , be there whenever you can and always do your best to put them first. Sometimes you may not be able to but at least try and fight for compromise if you cant. Leave no stone unturned. For you guys out there , always strive to be the man of her dreams and never be less than your best. Dont ever become complacent in a relationship because that's when it ends.

My friend (classmate/Njrotc shipmate) passed away at 7am on December 28th, 2018. She was in a roll over accident and wasn't wearing her seatbelt. She was declared brain dead at 12am that night. They had her on life support all that night. Then on the 28th at 7am they had to pull the plug, and she was declared dead. I cried so bad. She was only 18, and had only graduated May 2018... By the time I found out she was gone, it feels like this pain in my heart will never go away and the biggest problem is that I wasn't even there to see her one last time before she died and this guilt has never left me and feels like I abandoned her, but I don't believe that now cause I know she still loves me even when she was in heaven and her spirit is within me as well. At first i felt like it was all fake. Which i knew in reality it wasnt. The reason why i felt it was fake is because 2 years before that (in 2011) i lost my dad due to congested heart failure. Spent six years with a beautiful , amazing woman that I loved so much with everything that I had , gave her my life , my soul. I basically worshipped her and one day she just up and decided that she didn't want me anymore. Its a cold feeling when you know you did everything I could , gave so much of myself , told her I loved her every day , did my best to show it , never talked bad about her or to her , would often times make myself the bad guy when I knew she was wrong but wanted to keep her happy.... But in the end she wasn't happy and there was nothing I could do to stop her from driving away. I'll always love her though , even if I move on I'll always love her and wonder what she's doing , hoping that she's happy and it's going to slowly kill me knowing that I wasn't good enough to keep her. Through all of this I don't know if love is real , romantic love anyway. I can't help but feel that it's just something manufactured by card companies. I think now a days love is more about convienence than the heart. Maybe I'm just too hurt to even comprehend what it all means anymore. My advice to everyone that's in a loving relationship , take care of your partner , be there whenever you can and always do your best to put them first. Sometimes you may not be able to but at least try and fight for compromise if you cant. Leave no stone unturned. For you guys out there , always strive to be the man of her dreams and never be less than your best. Dont ever become complacent in a relationship because that's when it ends.

My friend (classmate/Njrotc shipmate) passed away at 7am on December 28th, 2018. She was in a roll over accident and wasn't wearing her seatbelt. She was declared brain dead at 12am that night. They had her on life support all that night. Then on the 28th at 7am they had to pull the plug, and she was declared dead. I cried so bad. She was only 18, and had only graduated May 2018...

I still have a lot of guilt on my behalf of his death. He was the closest friend ill ever of had in a long time. I wish I could’ve been there when he needed me the most. At first i felt like it was all fake. Which i knew in reality it wasnt. The reason why i felt it was fake is because 2 years before that (in 2011) i lost my dad due to congested heart failure.
