Government has unsettled court awards worth 676 billion shillings - Auditor General

The Auditor General John Muwanga has released his 2017 report, and in this report, the Auditor general claims that his investigations show that 676.8 billion shillings in unsettled and outstanding court awards had accumulated between 2011 and 2017.
The report which Muwanga handed to the speaker of parliament, is for the year ending December 2017, and was based on a total of 1,342 financial audits, 34 forensic investigations, 13 specialized audits and 8 value for money audits all conducted over the course of 2017.
