I think people surrender their sick animals to a shelter is because they can't afford to take them to a vet. It would have cost a lot of money to fix Big Bear. There are people out there who barely make enough money to feed their kids and pay their bills. It's sad to say, but if you can't afford to look after your pet, you shouldn't have one. It's not fair to the animal.
So if you can't put an extra $1500 in the bank to pay for a surgery that your pet most likely will never need, you shouldn't have a pet? If everyone followed this, there would be a lot less pet owners and many more euthanasia's.
+Michelle Kelly that's what most people do and that's why u have 5o1c3s like mat and myself I rescue dogs in Florida from kill shelters and also the streets and save them from bad owners we are like the asacp we can go to houses of hoarders and document the place then go with cops to remove the dogs then sue for animal cruelty and animal abuse it's a hard thing to do we actually have a vet that we use that we owe thousands of dollars to him but he's ok with it since we help doges in need
+Michelle Kelly It's easy to judge from the outside. It's also easy to suddenly find yourself in a bad position. Maybe someone can afford things in the beginning, but lose their job and suddenly have no money for these things. Would you prefer the owners to allow him to fester for their own selfish need to keep a dog, or turn him in to a shelter where he would have a better chance to either be healed or have his suffering kindly ended?
***** You're absolutely right. It could happen that someone loses their job or gets sick and things suddenly change. It's sad that there's no other choice but to surrender a dog for euthanasia when someone can no longer afford to care for a sick/elderly dog. Ikr, he's so happy and friendly! My dog stops wagging her tail when you walk in the room, but when you call her name or if she sees you, she wags her tail like crazy xD
+fogfrog9 msp I still would prefer my dog to wag her tail like bear, my dogs an 8 month old pit and she wags her tail so hard it hurts a lot actually lol. The doctors are worried she's gonna break it smacking a corner and snapping it! Still hasn't yet thankfully

One thing that ive noticed about every video is that you all are very supportive of the animals and i just want to thank you and tell you that you are making society a lot better :))
"You know what I hate, big mean mastiffs" Said with sarcasm as the good boy stands close by, not using his mass and height to drag Dr. Matt around the room despite the fact he easily could
He's an angel - wagging that tail despite all the prodding and poking. He reminds me of my mixed dog Rusty Bear (see my avatar left) who we think is part Mastiff and Golden Retriever and all mush! Hard to understand people leaving their pal to die. But in this instance there awaited a happy ending. Dr. Matt fixed him up so he'll have a real appreciative owner/buddy. Thanks Vet Ranch - y'all are the best.
Georgia Fan idk I think maybe with all the stuff he has going wrong with him maybe his previous owners just didn't have the money to help him and didn't want to see him die of his illnesses. So leaving him at the pound even if it was to be put down was the best they could do for him from their perspective. :(
I agree but for some people, it simply is not possible to afford a couple thousand dollar surgery for their dogs whilst they cant put food on the table for the kids... i understand where you are coming from, but to call them heartless? I think that's a bit quick to judge.
I wouldnt know about that, one could presume so, but financial situation can change too, so, i try not to judge too quick, even tho I too, hate to see this guy get discarded... believe me, I do.
Meghan Hirsh I Know! He is a walking miracle! He is very people anymore but he never really was! He has been using medical marijuana for 3 years and it's nearly eliminated his pain and stopped a cancerous tumor in its tracks. I really think it's the only reason he is still here!
That glove absolutely cracked me up. What kind of a heathen would turn a family member over to the executioner? That big ol beast is a kind soul. He wont have any trouble at all finding someone to love him back.
servicarrider you shouldn’t talk bad about the family when you don’t know anything about them. Maybe it’s a situation they were in where they had to kill the dog. Maybe they couldn’t afford multiple surgeries. You don’t know what/why this poor soul was close to death, so don’t point fingers and say that the family is terrible.
illuminate AJ very reasonable of you to say, people tend to see things that we don’t like and want to think we would never be so horrible, but I find that the truly kind among us are the ones that think “I wonder what horrible circumstances would have to happen, for me to make that kind of decision.”
I love how he's in so much pain and he's getting put to sleepand he's still wags his tail that's how you know that dog is a fighter a hero a believer and much much more I would give everything to have that dog
What a great guy. We have a 120-pound Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd/Walker Coonhound rescue mix that is the sweetest, friendliest, most gentle dog I've ever had. Big dog is best dog.
I used to have an English mastiff who was at least 200 lbs, and he was a gentle giant. He was so sweet, but scared of everything. When there was thunder or lightning, he would hide.
+Riley B They told us at the shelter that his mother was a Great Pyrenees and his father was a German Shepherd/Walker Coonhound mix. He ended up with German Shepherd fur, Pyrenees size, and Coonhound coloration.
RC RC don't plan on having children with someone who doesn't like animals. Also don't date someone who treats their mother and/or servers and grocery workers badly.
I love dogs like that especially the french bordoex because my auntie had a male one but he had to be put down because of a tumor in his spine :'(, now she has a female and she is the most gentle dog ever although when they got her she was super skinny
This one broke my heart because I have mastiffs. I could never see me giving up on any of my gentle giants and just putting out orders to kill them I would work three jobs if I had to , to save their lives or to remove a tumour. I just dont get people and how they can disassociate emotionally like that to their loyal companions Thank You for everything you and your group does. Amazing.
Mr Ranch....thank you. You quintessential American, your love of freedom and animals give me hope for my country. Thank you Mr Ranch. sending love from the other side of the planet. God bless America.
R. McBride they probably couldn't look after him or thought it was better to have him put down in case he was in pain. Also not everyone can afford the vets.
+Nathaniel A) Put him down for a lump on his neck? Seriously? If we find a lump on YOUR neck, should we just put YOU down or should we treat the lump? B) Pets or kids. If you can't afford them- DON'T HAVE THEM! Once you take on the responsibility, you have to follow through. You don't get to take the easy way out if it gets costly or inconvenient, and it ALWAYS WILL - with kids, pets, elderly parents, spouses, jobs. That's life. I have a real problem with people who think pets are disposable, like plastic cups. Animals are "people". They have feelings, thoughts, dreams, desires and feel love and pain just like the rest of us. They are not "just animals". They give unconditional love and loyalty and ask nothing in return. They deserve that love and LOYALTY back./rant off
Dr. MATT,so glad this beautiful Mastiff was rescued from its imminent death. Makes me sad that people would take their pet to be slaughtered. You and your team at Vet Ranch are so wonderful. This big boy will have a grand life, with a family who will love him to piece's. Great work again, and a show of Humbleness and kindness
What disgusting people. You just know they have watched the video and will read the comments, AND their neighbours know what they did. I hope their house gets thoroughly egged and flour bombed on a hot day.
I agree, those people should be embarrassed, ashamed and down right STUPID and should never be allowed to own another dog. Thanks to Vet Ranch he will make a great companion for someone.
...or, I hope they feel relieved that someone was able to help him when they couldn't and didn't know where else to go. People act like it's so easy. These bills are insane at a regular vet for people who don't have an extra 500 to 3k lying around. You just do the best you can & hope for a happy ending sometimes.
if you don't have and extra 500 to 3K lying around you should not have got the dog in the first place. and if they have had hard times recently and lost money then they should have surrendered him to a no kill when that tumour was tiny instead of waiting and watching him suffer. no sympathy at all
That is the saddest thing ever! I hate when owners reject their dogs. Dogs aren't pets, they are part of the family. Rejecting your dog is like disowning your daughter or son!
the owners need to be charged with animal abuse!!!! this is abuse and neglect. I had a rescue cane corso and he was the biggest wimp you ever met, he was tossed away like trash but he made the best pet. blessings for all you do for these critter kids... please have these monsters charged.
If you give your dog to a shelter because you know it'll be euthanised. That's not animal abuse or neglect. It should be illegal and wrong, unless a vet has said nothing can help them. But it's not neglect or abuse.
the dog was turned in that way I believe. this is a long time of festering. in nj we have a law, you MUST supply medical needs of your animals. any good human would not let this happen to their pets. this dog was turned in this way, so this is abuse. sorry I do rescue and it breaks my heart how sick people are in not taking care of their pets. so they toss them to the curb like trash because they don't want to be responsible. he is a gorgeous dog and I hope he gets a great family. and as for the people who trned him in like this. KARMA is a bitc&
they turned him in with this festering tumor. this didn't happen in a day. they allowed this baby to go thru everyday with this growing. that IS abuse and neglect. and if you loved your pet, you take care of them, take the dog to the vet to be put down, not dumped in a shelter to let someone else be the one to do it. sickening.
I swear to god I come to one more video that's been flagged and I can't watch it for my education I'm gonna report who's flagging them , people flagging them you know who you are if you don't like these type of videos don't watch them the rest of us want to watch them for education or entertainment
I HATE the flagging too. I just watched a documentary on PBS that was interesting. You can find it online on the PBS website. It's called The Cleaners. Very bizzare!
Tail wagging while getting stoned: DEFINITELY Tony Stark! Or more accurately, Tony Stank? (Please tell me you've seen Cap 3 Civil War). Hey you should tweet this to RDJ.
Lol May I take your order,Mr.Stank? I would like a hamburger What would you like with that? I would like pickles, tomatoes, and cheese And what would you like as a side? Fries (In the kitchen) (Order is ready) Number 1 Mr.Stank Oh Hi my name is actually Stark Well Mr.Stank,my apologies..
I'm taking college to go into an animal field but not a vet XD, my program is more of a general overall thing with a bit of everything and that's already reduced and it's still a lot I can't imagine the vet and vet tech, especially vet, it's a lot to learn But I have always had a deep passion for animals, and vets that do wonderful things like this are truly amazing!
WingQ good for you. Me, on the other hand, can handle watching for the most part, but I know I couldn't do what these amazing doctors do. Just don't have enough stomach for it.
You should have mailed the tumor to the people that dumped him in a shelter. Thank you for helping that guy out. I have 2 Cane Corsos and I had a problem in the beginning getting vets to even stand in the same room. Mastiffs are the most amazing dogs and be personalities
Philly Repo wouldn’t stand in the room? Why?! Gimme a break. Your a vet get a grip. I have a 150 pound mastiff and it’s really said people will actually change sidewalks etc when I’m walking him and he is literally the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. I rescued him when he was 4 and he’s never growled, never snapped, never been nasty not one time. Not even to my other smaller dogs or my child. You can cut his nails brush him, bathe him anything he’s not bothered by any of it. He’s hands down the best and sweetest big dog I’ve ever met.
I have an akita. And if you've ever seen an akita in public they can look incredibly intimidating and they're extremely strong and heavy. I just hate when people walk away or judge my pupper. He's so social and loving. He is the sweetest guy in the whole world and he's just the complete opposite of what people think his breed is.
I have never met a mean mastiff, EVER. Great dogs, but I wish they lived longer. I just lost my beloved Norwegian Elkhound to renal failure at 13-ish, can't imagine losing a dog because their breed only averages a 7-9 year lifespan.
S. Hubbell its because they are genetically fucked up usually their tails are ingrown and thue cant breathe for shit because their noses are fucked up too so they are pretty much all birth defectsband sadly paople still breed them :( but for a better explanation watch "Adam ruins dogs" or something like that
+tampabaybuccaneer10 Yup. And people keep breeding them bigger and bigger - and smaller and smaller - and more and more screwed-up (i.e. English Bulldogs.) Why? For social status reasons and bragging rights. Never mind what all this selective breeding does to the DOG, right? Because it's ALL ABOUT US, dammit! My beloved Elkhound was a foundling. I have NEVER sought out a pet, much less a pure-bred animal. I don't care what they look like. I care about their 'personality', doggy intellect, and general health. Let's face it - "mutts" tend to be healthier because their gene pools are diverse, not weakened by inbreeding and too-close genetic trait selection. I have a new puppy now. He's 1/2 Golden Retriever, 1/4 Black Lab, and 1/4 Bullmastiff. For all intents and purposes, he looks like an oversized, blocky Retriever. 6 months old and 50 lbs.! Sweet, eager, not very bright. Sneaky and manipulative, but loving and good-natured. *lol* It's all good - he's part of the family!
Ruxiah if you can't afford to support a dog then don't have one. I get taking a financial hit and not being able to support him anymore. However find a rescue shelter or someone who would take him in. Not a place for him to be put down. That's just a chicken shit move. Pardon my French.
Trevor L I totally agree. That is something that should be thought of BEFORE you get a dog. I have 3 GSDs. I have an emergency account for them just in case.
BruhhItsAurora there are hundreds or thousands of dogs like Tony ready and willing to be adopted for free at shelters without a tumor. Chances of his homeless owners being able to sell or even give him away are extremely slim
Chosen Moose ...but it wasn't. And a no-kill shelter would have almost definitely had a vet to properly diagnose the issue and decide whether the dog needed to be put down 🙃
HuskyPlays honestly I have 4 two females and two males 3 kids and the mom and they are sweethearts and just big teddy bears, they are French Mastiffs or Dogue De Bordeauxs
I love mastiffs, they're like huge teddy bears, so sweet, my friend had one named Zion, Bear is a cool name it really fits him, glad to see he's healed, just a beautiful boy!
Just wonderful. It must feel amazing to be able to save a life and see it go on and be sooooo happy. Coooodoze to you Mr Veterinarian you literally are a life saver.
It was amazing that Bear tail kept wagging all the time even when you was putting the gas on him I am really pleased he going to be ok as I think every animal deserves a second chance in life God Bless you Sir and your team 💙💙💙💙😄
Dr. Matt I just want to say that your laugh is so contagious! I'm so jealous of your wife hahaha! But I love your family and everything that you stand for. We need more people like you in this world. These animals don't have a human voice so it means so much that people like you can stand up and be a voice to these animals that nature has provided for us. I don't believe in God but I do believe in nature, Mother Nature specifically. I'm sure Mother Nature has a special place for you and I believe she will keep you close to her heart because the amazing work you do. Wish I could donate but I've been on medical leave for a whole now and under a pile of medical bills debt. An overwhelming pile really but when I get better the first thing I want to do is give you money for these animals. So watch out for my name. It's Meagan K. Okay? Please know I am praying for you, your family, your staff and Co workers and all the amazing animals who are being saved by you and who need saving. Blessed.
@@mariahmartinez1450 Lol I wish I was. I am a poet though and I love writing. It helps that his actions with animals speaks to me. I can tell he has a really pure heart when it comes to animals and it just makes me so happy. I am glad you think the same way. 😁😄
WolfTheGamer115 Wait WTF?! a benign tumor is like an infected meat pocket right? soooo..... why no HOW did u get one, what u rub ur face in the dirt with a cut?
What a sweet boy. I really really hope his owners gave him up because they had no other option, and not because they were just bored with him. When you adopt a pet you commit to keep that pet for the rest of its life, as long as you're able to take care of it properly. Pets are not toys or accessories, or something to keep the kids amused.
It must suck for owners who can't afford to treat their dogs to surrender them to be euthanized. It must suck even more that the ones that end up in Vet Ranch turn out being fine and now those owners just don't have their pet anymore :\
Sorry but... these owners are totally irresponsible and don't really love their pets, tbh.... in most of the videos we see animals that have been surrendered after they've been having these massive tumors/ wounds/ etc for a loooong ass time. If you can't afford surgery for your pet you should find a new owner for it IN TIME BEFORE SOMETHING HAPPENS. If you can't pay the vet bills, you have to give up your pet. Tumors like with this dog obviously don't grow overnight! The owner should have taken care of it when they first noticed something growing there.
Perhaps it is irresponsible to own a pet without insurance. I inherited my dog from a neglected home. I gave her a better life but these vet bills are insane. I am at over 5grand and counting. She cant be insured because she is too old. Lot of people don't have that kind of money. One thing we all know for certain is that a dogs life is better with a human. Or at least it should be. It's not fair to call people irresponsible when a simple surgery for a tooth removal or a mammary tumor cost nearly 2k.
Man I jus wanna say thank you! Your doing gods work helping animals that can't get help or help themselves. There's not enough good things said about y'all. Thank you!
I would do anything for that dog. He wagged his tail the whole time he was actually awake and when he was being stapled and poked and everything. I can't believe those people surrendered him.
What a great dog Bear is!! I know he will find a good home...got me the way he waggged his tail the whole time he was being treated for his heart worms and the tumor. Thank you Matt, for all that you do for animals.
Thank you so much for saving Bear. Sometimes I really don't like people. My babies are so close to me, I can't imagine what some people are thinking. So happy the less fortunate dogs have you!

One thing that ive noticed about every video is that you all are very supportive of the animals and i just want to thank you and tell you that you are making society a lot better :))
I agree!😄
"You know what I hate, big mean mastiffs"
Said with sarcasm as the good boy stands close by, not using his mass and height to drag Dr. Matt around the room despite the fact he easily could
I think most adults can handle any dog
He said mean
I bet u dont watch DemolitionRanch
@@MysteryOutdoors ya I do
LOL! Yes he could've dragged him if he wanted to.
Was I the only one eating Pizza when that came up? I got scared for a second 😂😂😂

Damn...double cone of shame. That'll be hard to live down.
Very few ppl get that reference but I appreciate it lol
Why not, plenty have seen UP.
Yassss I love that movie
Good reference, bad movie tho
lol
He wants to work in your clinic. Answering phones, taking payments, typing memos...being sure the treats are fresh. Great dog.
Dr Matt, you and your clinic are truly Angels on earth. God bless you.
Georgia Fan agreed
Georgia Fan I really really want him so cute
Georgia Fan inspires me
Georgia Fan your dog is s cute
Georgia Fan idk I think maybe with all the stuff he has going wrong with him maybe his previous owners just didn't have the money to help him and didn't want to see him die of his illnesses. So leaving him at the pound even if it was to be put down was the best they could do for him from their perspective. :(
how can people be do heartless....just leave their dog to die alone....i would give away anything to see my dogs happy and healty
I agree but for some people, it simply is not possible to afford a couple thousand dollar surgery for their dogs whilst they cant put food on the table for the kids... i understand where you are coming from, but to call them heartless? I think that's a bit quick to judge.
+Remy - (Ray-Me) and to defend is even quicker!
+Remy - (Ray-Me) But arent mastiffs usually expensive?
I wouldnt know about that, one could presume so, but financial situation can change too, so, i try not to judge too quick, even tho I too, hate to see this guy get discarded... believe me, I do.
Who said anything about defending whoever did this? Im only not judging without knowing the facts and remaining rational.
I have a 14 year old English mastiff that is my best friend. He isn't very active but he's happy. Tony is an angle and I'm so glad you saved him!
Beauty By Malinda angel*
Beauty By Malinda Holy cow, 14 is very old for a mastiff!
Meghan Hirsh I Know! He is a walking miracle! He is very people anymore but he never really was! He has been using medical marijuana for 3 years and it's nearly eliminated his pain and stopped a cancerous tumor in its tracks. I really think it's the only reason he is still here!
Beauty By Malinda 90° angle?
Such an acute angle!
I'm not a big dog kind of person but I fell in love as soon as I saw this boy, hope he has a great home now.
I've officially watched too many of these videos. You said benign and I shouted YES! out loud :-)

@illuminate AJ....Waaaaaaaaah.
Bear is awesome! I can't imagine how he felt, glad you could help him!
illuminate AJ very reasonable of you to say, people tend to see things that we don’t like and want to think we would never be so horrible, but I find that the truly kind among us are the ones that think “I wonder what horrible circumstances would have to happen, for me to make that kind of decision.”

He is beautiful 😍
My dogs name is Chestnut
I love how he's in so much pain and he's getting put to sleepand he's still wags his tail that's how you know that dog is a fighter a hero a believer and much much more I would give everything to have that dog
That dog was awesome

I think that was my favorite dog that he's ever shown on here! I love big dogs, especially Mastiffs. I am so in love with this beautiful boy!!
+Teresa Keller 200% agreed! He is just a big gorgeous sweetie. :)
What a great guy. We have a 120-pound Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd/Walker Coonhound rescue mix that is the sweetest, friendliest, most gentle dog I've ever had. Big dog is best dog.
that sounds like the cutest dog ever!
I used to have an English mastiff who was at least 200 lbs, and he was a gentle giant. He was so sweet, but scared of everything. When there was thunder or lightning, he would hide.
Ellison Rodgers Oh man, it's like 4th of July all over again!
What, does he have 3 parents?
+Riley B They told us at the shelter that his mother was a Great Pyrenees and his father was a German Shepherd/Walker Coonhound mix. He ended up with German Shepherd fur, Pyrenees size, and Coonhound coloration.
I love you man, i wish my future husband love pets like you do and i will be happy forever.
Rc Ulusoy so true ! i wish that too
RC RC
RC RC don't plan on having children with someone who doesn't like animals. Also don't date someone who treats their mother and/or servers and grocery workers badly.
What a big older sweet heart! I hope to be able to make animals that happy we I grow up!
I normally don't like really floppy/wrinkly faced dogs... but Bear is just?? really aesthetically pleasing?
I have a dog like him his name is Louie I love him
Nick Peguero I would love to see Louie OvO
I love dogs like that especially the french bordoex because my auntie had a male one but he had to be put down because of a tumor in his spine :'(, now she has a female and she is the most gentle dog ever although when they got her she was super skinny
+Shadow The Fox ... it's spelled *bordeaux*, like the wine!
This one broke my heart because I have mastiffs.
I could never see me giving up on any of my gentle giants and just putting out orders to kill them
I would work three jobs if I had to , to save their lives or to remove a tumour.
I just dont get people and how they can disassociate emotionally like that to their loyal companions
Thank You for everything you and your group does. Amazing.

Mr Ranch....thank you. You quintessential American, your love of freedom and animals give me hope for my country. Thank you Mr Ranch. sending love from the other side of the planet. God bless America.

Why lol
I can handle being stuff like blood test
My thought exactly. Especially when he started checking out the desk.
Oh, dat face! Dat Face!!!! He's adorable and what a beautiful dog! I don't understand how anyone could give up their pet. I'd rather cut my hand off.
R. McBride I've got one of those breed of dogs there so calm and elegant
R. McBride I agree
R. McBride Right!!
Great work again, and a show of Humbleness and kindness
this channel makes me cry... AND DOING THAT IS HARD... it is just hard to find people who love animals this much
Victoria Adrian clearly it's not that hard
Victoria Adrian I cry to it's hard for me not to cry because it's hard to see people treat animals so mean
Nicole Kuhn IK XC
Victoria Adrian same I love animals and since I was 5 I never cried now this is the first time I cried in so so so long
Does that little tail ever stop wagging, bless his heart .Big bear is a much better name such a cutie xxx
aww bear is so CUTE!!!!!!!!!! what a sweet heart

Nur Abud YEAH IT IS TRUE
And those heartworm shots are painful! He really is a sweetheart.
I'm being a vet when I'm older and I want to save dogs (other animals too!!) lives!!
Firestar 32 that’s nice. I’m hoping to be a surgeon on all animals. What position do you want to be in?
Me too!
I like how you say you wanna save dogs, yet your name is after Firestar from Warrior CATS. I am not hating though, and I agree completely with you!
xXGamerDigitXx that’s what I meant
We can relate personally to the dental instruments! 😳 Yikes!
hope the owners see this and feel guilty! what a beautiful dog!
they saw this dog everyday and did nothing. I don't think they have any feelings..... grrrrr
Kitkatkate But pets ARE a part of the family.
Kitkatkate dogs are pets, but pets are a part of the family.
Kitkatkate you don't understand why they surrendered him
Kitkatkate I am a cat and dog person but aren't cats a part of the family?
Of course! Any pet that someone may own is a part of the family. Whether its a frog, lizard, bunny or bird they all count as family members.
the owners need to be charged with animal abuse!!!! this is abuse and neglect.
I think he was referring to letting the tumor get rotten.
why would they get charged? they didnt beat the dog because it was infected. Thats why they sent him to the kill house to get him euthanized...
the dog was turned in that way I believe. this is a long time of festering. in nj we have a law, you MUST supply medical needs of your animals. any good human would not let this happen to their pets. this dog was turned in this way, so this is abuse. sorry I do rescue and it breaks my heart how sick people are in not taking care of their pets. so they toss them to the curb like trash because they don't want to be responsible. he is a gorgeous dog and I hope he gets a great family. and as for the people who trned him in like this. KARMA is a bitc&
they turned him in with this festering tumor. this didn't happen in a day. they allowed this baby to go thru everyday with this growing. that IS abuse and neglect. and if you loved your pet, you take care of them, take the dog to the vet to be put down, not dumped in a shelter to let someone else be the one to do it. sickening.
This is one of my favorite videos of all time, not just from Vetranch but from RUclips as a whole. Bear is such a gentle giant and that is beautiful.

Luckily mastiffs have so much extra skin, so closing up a big wound like that is easy lol

I'm taking college to go into an animal field but not a vet XD, my program is more of a general overall thing with a bit of everything and that's already reduced and it's still a lot I can't imagine the vet and vet tech, especially vet, it's a lot to learn
But I have always had a deep passion for animals, and vets that do wonderful things like this are truly amazing!

Bear went from very sick to one big smiling dog with bright eyes thank you Vet Ranch
Bear looks like he is such a sweetheart & lovable aww I hope he ends up with a good family ❤
He’s hands down the best and sweetest big dog I’ve ever met.
okay but you dont know what struggles the previous owners were going through. Just think before you say something that could offend someone.
@Elyssa Gravenish hang in..sooner or later ur dad will.have to face God for his actions..u can love this great dog and be a hero.
S. Hubbell its because they are genetically fucked up usually their tails are ingrown and thue cant breathe for shit because their noses are fucked up too so they are pretty much all birth defectsband sadly paople still breed them :( but for a better explanation watch "Adam ruins dogs" or something like that
Max Hammerum your grammar is a birth defect.
Unfortunately big dogs have bodies that tend to give out earlier. D:
+tampabaybuccaneer10
Yup.
S. Hubbell
Most big dogs don't live over 12 years old
Other wise they get problems
He is such a beautiful and sweet dog! A gentle giant.
such a pretty dog. i dont understand why the owners wouldn't take him to get it removed, well, financial problems, i understand that
Ruxiah if you can't afford to support a dog then don't have one. I get taking a financial hit and not being able to support him anymore. However find a rescue shelter or someone who would take him in. Not a place for him to be put down. That's just a chicken shit move. Pardon my French.
"...we just got him today, he's a homeless dog.." owner is homeless, probably got the dog for protecrtion
Trevor L I totally agree. That is something that should be thought of BEFORE you get a dog. I have 3 GSDs. I have an emergency account for them just in case.
They could have gave him away or sold him.
BruhhItsAurora there are hundreds or thousands of dogs like Tony ready and willing to be adopted for free at shelters without a tumor. Chances of his homeless owners being able to sell or even give him away are extremely slim
Who tf surrenders their dog to a kill shelter
Keana Astalos they didn't have money to help him
Chosen Moose I understand that. They could have surrendered him to a no-kill shelter.
Keana Astalos the tumor? It could have been slowly killing him
Chosen Moose ...but it wasn't. And a no-kill shelter would have almost definitely had a vet to properly diagnose the issue and decide whether the dog needed to be put down 🙃
People who cant take care of them. Its heartbreaking but sometimes you have to do what you have to do (i woundn't, but still)
Many people think that Mastiffs are mean and aggressive...they are so wrong. After this video everyone should know that Mastiff's are great dogs.
HuskyPlays honestly I have 4 two females and two males 3 kids and the mom and they are sweethearts and just big teddy bears, they are French Mastiffs or Dogue De Bordeauxs
Definitely. Mastiffs are just big, dopey idiots and I love them. A bit slobbery, but they're just gentle giants.
They are great dogs great natured and soft just a bit clumsy my daughter has a Dogue de Bordeaux
HuskyPlays same as a pit bull it's just the way the owners make the mand treat them like dang bro
Like i knoww!!!
Thanks Matt I love when you do vet ranch videos this was a great video. Wishing Bear a a great recovery and to find his new family that is forever
Bear is so happy I have never seen a dog wag its tail while getting shots and staples
Keith Greene yeah he looks like such a good boy although he is a huge dog so I doubt he could feel the shots.
I donate monthly because of all you do at Vet Ranch. Thanks, Dr. Matt!
Blessed.
Nice sentence and soooo true
Are u like an inspirational speaker or something because you took the words out of my mouth?!😅😉
@@mariahmartinez1450 Lol I wish I was. I am a poet though and I love writing. It helps that his actions with animals speaks to me. I can tell he has a really pure heart when it comes to animals and it just makes me so happy. I am glad you think the same way. 😁😄
WHY..WHY WHY YOU DO NOT BELIVE IN GOD THAT IS SO BULL CRAP MOTHER NATURE WOULD NOT EVEN EXIST IF IT WAS NOT FOR GOD
This is honestly the best comment I’ve ever seen on anything
I also had a benign tumor on my neck. glad he's all better
thanks, for some reason my phone gliched messing with things XD
WolfTheGamer115 glad you're all better too.
Victoria Johnson thank you.
WolfTheGamer115 Wait WTF?! a benign tumor is like an infected meat pocket right? soooo..... why no HOW did u get one, what u rub ur face in the dirt with a cut?
Charter Holmes idk fully what it is but tumars have something to do with cancer but a bening tumar is non cansorus. idk much about it
What a sweet boy.
Heyit'smec If the owners had taken care of this when the tumor was small, it wouldn't have been a big deal at all.
7thCobweb Thats true,if you cant mantain your dog dont try to kill him, just find a new owner!
7thCobweb Actually I agree with you now lol either way you'll lose your dog so you might as well give it a home that can take care of it
You guys should make playlists for the different vets!
they do!!
huh that's new! thanks :)
Omg Yess that's a good idea
Awesome idea dude!
WYATT!!
I don't care if the animal is ugly or not, I just want it to have a good personality that fits me!😘😊
Man I jus wanna say thank you! Your doing gods work helping animals that can't get help or help themselves. There's not enough good things said about y'all. Thank you!
I would do anything for that dog. He wagged his tail the whole time he was actually awake and when he was being stapled and poked and everything. I can't believe those people surrendered him.
Matthew Williams well hey the good thing is that they saved him right
Matthew Williams I don't think you understand why they surrendered him. They might have not had the money to help him.
