My Mahni Cassonade has been sitting for a few weeks and it has definitely become smoother. I was on the fence about it at first but now she’s THAT girl! Unique, sexy, and classy…love it!
That’s so crazy how we are all getting different things from this. I got vanilla bean ice cream as soon as I sprayed mine. I get zero smokiness but I have heard other people say they do. Love your honest review! ❤
Unfortunately, this isn't working for me either, definitely NOT the gourmand that was advertised...i see Sharida is now calling it woody after I spent over $200 on a vanilla ice cream, brown sugar, toffee bottle of heaven ...had she called it woody from the jump i would have passed! 🤷🏽♀️
@@LavishlyChiChi No, I'm a one and done kind of person. I just like to grab a perfume and it just work for me. The only layering I do is with moisturizing...lotion and oil. I don't want it to go to waste, I will more than likely gift it to family or friend 🤷🏽♀️
Hi Chi Chi! Your experience was my experience. I was looking for creamy vanilla and received smoky to the point of burnt. Fortunately, not smoky like Replica By the Fireplace, which I do not enjoy. However, the vanilla comes through in the dry down. On its own, Mahni Cassonade is a like for me, but layered with Navitus Ambrosia Imperiale, it’s a love!! - Ms. Charlette
Hey Chichi. I was listening to your review and had to go back and spray my bottle again. To me it gives the scent of a cream shop you walk into that makes waffle cones and bowls in shop. Which gives kind of cooked waffle smell. It’s amazing how subjective fragrances can be. I’m also a lover of Replicas By the Fire Place so I like the woody aspect. Loved your honest review ❤
Your description was right now for me. Immediately, I got that smoky toffee scent and It reminded me of Imaginary Authors A Whiff of Waffle cone. Just more Niche. It you want a more editable gourmet I highly recommend. I wore both Mahni Cassonade with a Whiff of waffle cone and it was so good.
So glad I saw this because I so wanted this but was scared of this experience based off the notes. Whew goodness Thank u. I can’t see waiting awhile for a fragrance to potentially do what it needs to do after spending so much on it.
Love love your honesty. After spending a good coin on a fragrance who wants to let it sit until it gets to its full potential. It have to be at least a like at 1st sniff then a love after it sat. BTW you look very pretty in this video my ♋️ sista 😊
I completely understand but in my experience because this brand pop out so many perfume launches I don't think they have enough time to sit verses a brand like parfums de marly that only launch maybe 2 fragrances a year
I agree Chi Chi.. I had to spin the block on this one too. Spray, spray, leave the cap off and let it sit for some weeks. Now I love it too. The smokiness is more toned down now.
@LavishlyChiChi totally agree..because wheeww I thought it smelled like a fireplace too..I mean upon initial spray, but yes the vanilla, toffee, and ice cream I get more of that now. I take your advice about spraying new fragrances, leaving the top off and letting it sit. Game changer for me. Love that
Just received mine and it immediately gave me Vanilla28 but no smokey smell. I will let her sit for a bit and let the vanilla really grow so can really come through. Baklava Royale was delicious right from the gate. Definitely not disappointed by either blind buy.
I felt you on this .... I dont get smoke but ...I get a ton of Maple syrup , which I dont like... I had to layer it to enjoy it...I wanted vanilla ice cream! ..... but I'll let it sit and see if the vanilla will pop if I let it marinate
@Lavishly Chi Chi, it definitely has that smokiness/woodiness in the beginning. I was really caught off guard cuz the notes had me fooled. I was definitely hoping for it to be way more gourmand. It’s a somewhat like for me but definitely not a re-purchase.
The wonders of body chemistry is absolutely amazing and totally connected to our noses's. I don't get smokiness at all and as a matter of fact, when I first spread it I got the strongest lactonic note that smelled like the milk of A new born baby. As I've allowed my bottle to sit I do get more of the vanilla ice cream vanilla bean essence but it still dries down to that milky lactonic note😳 I wish I was getting some of that smoke I feel like it would last longer if I got that maybe overtime I will get more of that
I'm giving Navitus a break. After purchasing Amorous Intense, Miel Extase, Mahni Cassonade. I wasn't feeling any of them. I also purchased Ambrosia imperiale and that's my favorite. I'm only purchasing perfume after sampling, no more blind buys because I've been disappointed. It's something in Mahni Cassonade that's missing for me.
I didn't get ice-cream. It smelled very familiar and it was killing me. Then I re-sprayed. Then I was like it's giving me By The Fireplace and Vanilla28. I really like though. I will let it "bake" a little longer to see what I get.

Hey Stacey I think you'll like it. Hopefully you'll pick up the smokey note since that hasn't been the case with most people. Smoke or no smoke it's still a great fragrance
I also don't get ice-cream. I see what you mean by smokey. For me is the toasted waffle cone vibe that I get throughout the fragrance. Maybe the ice cream will emerge the longer the fragrance sits. It's super long lasting though.

I wore it two nights ago and it was def giving what it needed to give. It was sweet, creamy, vanilla, somewhat woodsy..It’s a really great fragrance❤
Just out of curiosity, what is the sillage and longevity like? I have heard lots of people say it has weak to moderate projection and lasts just 2-3hours on the skin… please let me know your experience. Thanks
@@MKS_MC I sprayed it like 3 times and it literally filled the room, and was giving...however, I only got about 3 to 4 hours on the skin. I just received my bottle Friday, so I'm currently letting it macerate, I always let these ME perfumes sit for about a month, but my initial thought is this one is going to perform! Wish I could give you a better review, but what I can tell you is this scent is sooo mouth watering!!!!

@@LavishlyChiChi It wasn't holding it's own. I spray it and forget it. It doesn't last. So I figured it got pushed through too quickly and so will need time to hold it's own. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽, because that was expensive juice. I purchased the idea, I am hoping it delivers soon.

That's the replica scent I was thinking of. While I was editing I completely forgot to mention ambrosia imperiale cuz they smelled so go together

I never smelled whiff of a waffle cone but it seems pretty edible so I can imagine that combo
I never got the smokiness. I love the fragrance & received a few compliments too. I feel like a man can pull it off too.

Yesss my scent twin. I'm so glad that smokiness simmered down. I have a feeling the vanilla in this is gonna be poppin next year
