In this video, we did snorkeling at 4 different spots in all of Nusa Penida namely; 1. Manta Bay, 2. Crystal Bay, 3. Gamat Bay and 4. Wall Points and we paid 500k for 2 pax. The highlight of our snorkeling trip was swimming with Manta Rays in Nusa Penida, one of the most famous parts of Bali, it was incredible!
We ended up swimming with more that 6 manta rays. Our boat was right next to broken beach. It was one of the best snorkeling experiences we've ever had. Nusa Penida is just 40 minutes away from Bali mainland and it's famouse for snorkeling with manta rays.
The waters between the islands of Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan have very beautiful underwater views. So many international divers are interested in snorkeling or diving in the waters of Nusa Bali.
The beauty of the underwater scenery that you will be able to see such as; coral reefs are still healthy, as well as a variety of underwater life.
According to the Coral Triangel Center website, there are 296 species of coral reefs and 576 species of reef fish in the waters of Nusa Penida. Good or bad coral reef conditions, depending on the location you dive. However, most of the coral reefs in Nusa Penida are still healthy.
Underwater biota that you can most likely see while snorkeling or diving in the waters of Nusa Bali, such as green turtles, Manta rays, rainbow eels. Mola-Mola and Frogfish.

What months are the Manta Ray's usually more visible??? I read from some klook reviews that they didn't see the manta ray on their snorkeling tour.
I went to Bali in the middle of February and went snorkeling in all of these places in Nusa Penida. I didn't see the manta ray nor the sea turtle but had a lot of fun.

Is it mandatory to know swimming for doing snorkelling in Manta bay or Crystal bay? or non swimmers can also do it safely?
Hi Darshit, Swimming is not mandatory for snorkeling, as they will normally have the staff with you in the water with all the safety gears provided for snorkeling. So I guess, it should be fine for non swimmers, however, it’s highly advisable to mention to the people that you are engaged for snorkeling that you are non-swimmers and maybe they can suggest the suitable spots for more safety.

the water doesnt look so deep on video!! would you recommend this snorkelling experience for people who cant swim? Were the waters shallow or deep?
Don’t do it if you can’t swim. I’m a really good swimmer and almost drowned here. The waves r no joke.
Many people have drowned here and around the island the currents are crazy
