Ponder went into that final game in 2012 at 5.94 yards per pass attempt, and Peterson went into it at 6.04 yards per rush attempt.
I went back to 1960 and found no instance where a teams starting RB finished with a higher YPC than the starting QB's YPA, so Ponder was almost the first.
Thanks to a 65 yard completion to Jarius Wright in the 4th quarter, Ponder finished the season just ahead of Peterson 6.08 to 6.03.

I was in 10th grade working at McDonald’s and got off at the end of the blair walsh game, had it all recorded, told my coworkers not to talk about by me, and one of the last customers comes in all hot and bothered and proceeded to tell me exactly what happened unsolicited. I guess it saved me some time watching that terrible game, I went home and fast forwarded through the majority of the plays one of the worst playoff games ever
Sounds like the very first episode of Seinfeld. Jerry was on tour so he recorded the Mets game and managed to avoid spoilers all day. Then as soon as he sat down to watch it, Kramer bursts in and says, "wow the Mets really blew it" lol. Saved him 3 hours I guess.
I thought it was a great game. The outcome wasn't.
I was at the game sitting behind the goal post. The kick almost missed the net and if the net doesn't snag it, my friend or I might have caught it. COLDEST game I ever attended! The Seahawk fans were a-holes after the game too.

Yeah, Kalil is higher on my list because his fall resulted in Slappy's like TJ Clemings and Charlie Johnson. Blairs downfall gave us kicker "stability" with Forbath after.
A few that I think can be honorable mentions: TJ Clemmings, Daniel Carlson, Braushad Breeland and anyone who played right guard from Brandon Fusco to Ed Ingram.
On a different note you guys should do a top 10 list of the best write that down predictions that were correct on a PD. That might be hard to track down but it would make a great episode.
I am a big Diggs fan, but I see a lot of haters anytime he is in the media from Vikings fans.
He should have made the list, along with Daniel Carlson.
Personally, I don't put Anderson on the list, that loss is unfairly put on him.

My friend wanted this guy to leave her friend alone, circa 1984 Rusty Scupper. I look at him and informed her that this was a super nice guy and pro bowl tight end for the Vikings, he had earned his hit on girl cred.
Reusse told a story of Tommy Kramer getting injured in a Vikings-Packers game. Max McGee, owner of the Rusty Scupper and Packers color commentator, allegedly said on air "I hope he's OK. That guy's one of my best customers."

Possible honorable mentions: Brett Favre for throwing across his body and the 2010 season and Kirk Cousins for only 1 playoff win with the Vikings and the 4th and 8 play.
The blair walsh kick was so nasty, i was talking to my freinds at the time about how we were going to win the next week and then he missed and i started getting made fun of
Red McCombs- cheap as dirt
Robbert Smith- hurt for 6 seasons, got good, then retired.
Anthony Barr- didn’t loved the game and it showed
McCombs might've been cheap and not a "culture" guy, but the Vikings had more regular season and playoff success in his 7 years as owner than the Wilves in their 19. McCombs still has more playoff wins to 4 to 3, a higher win pct .571 to .528, and just as many NFCCG appearances at 2 each. I mean dang, only 3 playoff wins in 19 years?
some honorable mentions. Steal of the draft Onterrio Smith, Ciatrick Fason, mewelde moore, cant remember the name but the linebacker they got from the raiders for Moss. The QB that started in a 1st rd playoff game that never passed. The playoff game where the Giants destroyed them by like 40 points. Also I know most fans liked him but I couldn't stand Bridgewater. Another guy I thought sucked was the dback they got from the cowboys a couple years ago that was like 40 years old. Seemed like he was always getting torched and they always made a big deal about how good he was.

Erasmus James ran a 4.9 at 266 lbs and had poor upper body strength. This was a scouting mistake. You think they were have learned with the Derrick Alexander selection who had similarly poor testing numbers for a DE.

The purple triangle was Eden Prairie to Mpls to Burnsville, it was like the devil's triangle.
Honorable mention for me would be Beshaud Breeland. The short time he was here he was just a jackass. All the Twitter stuff was ridiculous. I knew that dude was going to suck when he let Tyreek Hill burn him on a go route in the very first preseason game that year.
You said since 2000 so I never expected Gary o be the guy. Don't forget that the Vikings goat for that game was actually Robert Smith. Anderson should not have even had to attempt the kick. The Vikings should have been taking a knee but on that final drive when the Vikes were trying to run out the clock Smith stopped the clock not once, not twice, but 3 times by running out of bounds. In my eyes that game is not on the guy who had the first perfect season in NFL history.
I don't know if this is the best place to make suggestions, but...how about the Top 10 Greatest Catches in Viking History. Followed by Top 10 Greatest Run Plays.
That would just be Randy moss with one JJ catch and one Anthony Carter catch

Wasn't Pomder's fault that he was drafted 30 spots higher than he should have been. Denny Green should have been #1 for taking the knee over Anderson. Yes I know Green wasn't a player, but....and Moss should be on that list for taking the play off against Arizona. Think it was supposed to be a timing pass by Culpepper in the endzone at end of the game and Moss didn't run his route to draw defenders away and the defender saw Moss was taking his play off and jumped the route to pick off the pass and Vikings lose the game and miss playoffs. F Moss.

Yeah I don't know why he gets all the blame for that game. We still had a 7 point lead with 2 min to go. Robert Griffith dropped 2 game ending INT's on the Falcons tying drive, one in the EZ on the play before the tying TD. The defense made Chris Effing Chandler look like Joe Montana.
