    Wenger doesn’t get nearly enough respect. Man was winning trophies with Senderos and Bendtner and them man. No other man in football could turn water into wine like that.

      Both of those players won a single trophy in seasons they didn’t start. Wenger did extremely well through some of those later seasons but that example doesn’t showcase it.

      @@lucasr4646 from 2006 to 2014 he made a profit on transfers - unheard of for a big six team. And while making a profit, through those years he was top 4 every single season without fail. One of the big critiques of Pep is that he couldn’t save a relegation side from relegation - I have no doubt that Wenger could.

    I put Wenger at number 2. He won so much with fairly limited resources and at the end of his career with very limited resources. Pep has had an open checkbook. I reckon that Wenger with this Arsenal side would win the Prem quite comfortably.

      As a gooner I wouldn't even put him 3rd. He should've won the CL in 04 and 06 and the League in 03 but he bottled all of them. He revolutionised the league but he was stubborn and arrogant and most of his success was more due to his ability to sign players with good potential. I think he would be better as a Sporting Director in the modern game.

    Mark Goldbrige you forgot (bias) that Man.Utd had much more money then the others Club due to the fact that Premier League and the Championsleague was established in the same this period. They could buy the best players from the other clubs.

    There’s too many topical Football shows and podcasts, it’s a massively over-saturated market. Personally I’d much rather see more general content like Going for Goldbridge, Driving with Goldbridge, Walking with Goldbridge, gaming play-throughs… I like the dynamic with Will though, maybe he could get involved in some of it like a double-act at times.

    You can throw titles in there fair enough BUT
    BUT, Klopp and Wenger won things on a lesser budget than their rivals
    Klopp Wenger and Fergie brought through youth (as in multiple players into the 1st team) pep and Jose didn't
    Pep and Jose walked into teams that were already built and winning things
    For these reasons I think pep and Jose belong below Klopp Wenger and fergie

      No, lol. If you think it is a walk in the park to build on previous success then what about Chelsea (who have spent twice as much as anybody else) and Man United? I'd say the most difficult thing is the generational transition *_while_* you have success. Clubs usually fail when they transition from one generation to the other. Pep has managed that successfully, *_twice._*

    I know that the opinion of having money helps when you are a manager is understandable. However, every manager would choose to be in a similar situation to Pep. What makes Pep different are his talent, impact, and influence. Yes he is number 2 but even SAF lost twice to him in the UCL, if not we would have had 4 UCL titles.
    I believe he will eventually be number 1 regardless of whether he eclipses the number of trophies of SAF. I would never disrespect SAF but my advice is to appreciate Pep now you can watch him because he is truly special.

    Goldbrick hate of pep just eluded his sense of reason,for him to say he only fend off only Klopp
    Pep first epl title was against Jose Man U who finished second in 2018
    2019 n 2022 was against klopp Liverpool
    In 2021 pep won it n it was Man U club that came second under Ole
    And finally 2023 he won’t n gust who came in second arsenal under the leadership of Arteta
    So I don’t know why he said it’s only klopp that he has to worry about n said Alex won his titles against different managers

    Wenger gets a lot of disrespect. But honestly none of the guys mentioned would have had any amount of success on the shoe string budget that Wenger had. He was also the only one to qualify for Champions league in 20+ straight seasons too. Despite not winning it and I think without a Lehmann Red card in the final maybe that goes differently. But honestly nothing beats the Wenger Fergie era. Brain vs brauns, pennies vs pounds.

    Ignoring the financial conditions in which every manager operated is just unfair. Wenger stopped winning titles when Arsenal had to pay for the stadium and there was no money availiable. He had to sell his best players every year for almost a decade. You think Guardiola would do better in such conditions? Also Wenger could have left numerous times and won trophies in other countries but he remained loyal to Arsenal despite the dire financial restrictions.

      Pep learned from Cruyff, walked into arguably the best club team ever. Went to treble winners and left without a CL. Arrived at a State owned club that also had won PL recently. Every club he’s inherited world class players and an open cheque book. He is the best just now but nowhere near SAF. Looking forward to Pep the Honourable taking on his biggest ever challenge by going to a club like Majorca, Brescia or say QPR and turning them into a dominant force just like SAF did at Aberdeen and of course Cloughie did at Forest/Derby.

    Klopp is the only one that has done it with an inferior budget. And he is competing with a state-funded club with 115 charges to their name. He has gotten LFC to 93+ points thrice, which is more than any other manager not named Pep. Let's see how any of the other managers could handle a net spend at 10th spot and a gross spent at 6th.

    I dont understand why everybody keeps putting mourinho above klopp. Sure he won twice, he did so as a club with infinite money, and he couldn't stay at a club very long, got fired 4 times by 3 different premier league clubs, and whilst he's won the UCL a few times he didnt do that in England.

    Best Premier Legaue manager ever ....... do you want to try best manager since 1992? it's a bit more realistic.Bu saying that - since 92 Ferguson, Wenger Pep Mourinho and Klopp. - i am a Liverpool supporter. All different managers all brought different things to the EPL. Ferguson and Mourinho - ruthless winners , Wenger - a genius and changed the english game, Pep a genius and control freak, Klopp the most authentic, the best coach, the best developer of players and also changed the EPL game.

      @@OrwellsPeaceLily I said that he's a great manager. His style of football is my favourite to watch. But in relation to him as a 'PL' manager, for me, his legacy is tainted because his success is built on the alleged 115 charges that set the foundations when he walked into City 🤷🏽‍♂️

      @GIBBO4182 It's not just about titles. Klopp would have won as many titles as Pep if he managed City. I don't think Pep would have got a bog average Liverpool team as far as Klopp has.
