Some people are living it- the scroll wheel and clicks and you’re saying the opposite. I’ve tried it and it’s great for small hands and my own one is being delivered today so will say. Good for productivity for me as light and precise mouse
@@Candyhands_ There’s two sellers on Amazon UK. One is for £80 and the other sells it at £85 but with a discount of 15%. That’s about $75-80 US. Still not had time to test yet
@@mikerzisu9508 It's one of those things where in a vacuum, it could be good to me. But it's just not, I can't see a justification for it compared to other options on the market. It either needs to be better and same price, or notably cheaper. Even in the Attack Shark lineup it feels out of place. I don't have the X3, but it seems like such a massively better buy. The weight difference is negligible, and so much other stuff is shared like the wireless and the black mambas.
@@Candyhands_ to each their own I guess. It did just release and there isn't any firmware updates available for it yet, so I am sure they will improve it. It was interesting to listen to your review of it. I just have a different perspective, such as the holes... I really don't mind them at all. Don't use any grip tape. The one thing I do agree with you on is the bottom. Why not put holes in the bottom as well to shave off another 4-5 grams. But at the end of the day that is a pretty negligible difference, it is still a pretty light mouse. What other magnesium mice have you tried? I own the dareu a950, pretty good medium sized mouse with good build quality. I own a starlight-12 small. Have an mchose m5 in the mail as well as a darmoshark m3.
@@mikerzisu9508 This and the beastx mini are my first magnesium mice. I also have the ULX Tarix Cheetah on the way, but that's carbon fiber. And dude, mad respect if the holes don't bother you at all. These magnesium mice must have been made with your hands in mind, that rocks.
Finally someone who said 100 dollars. should be 69 dollar but they getting greedy by the popularity of the WLMouse, it's 110 $ now even for me on aliexpress, it's not gonna sell well. Also the skates are ass on all my attack shark mice, R1 and X3, and the grip tape that comes with both my attack shark mice are absolutely AWFUL, not grippy at all. should not be allowed to be called grip tape. Idk how bad it is on the r3. VXE has way better skates on the VXE R1 SE
Yeah. It's $100 on the attack shark website where I got it from. Their site seems to have constant random discounts to bring it down a little bit. But I'm not going to act like that's the regular price. Their site also does the "sales tactic" of acting like it's actually a $140 mouse, but it just happens to be on sale for $100 all the time lol. And yeah, grip tape isn't great. But it at least makes the holes on the side more tolerable. I had hopes at first because it just looked like BTL grip, but it clearly isn't.
Hey buddy. Have you seen the new R2 Version? It’s got 3950 sensor and 42000 dpi and it’s a gram or so lighter. Should I return this and get that and there’s no reviews out there
im buying it because its a 70$ 44 gram good quality *36 mm* height mouse with 8k/4k , if you arent the costumer i wouldnt buy them either, if you are really looking for something that is low profile (36 mm) and similar quality to beast x/fm for half the price, this mouse is probably perfect. when you review these you can try to put yourself in the shoes of other people lol, you might not be the target audience for these
Even at $70, I don't think this is a good quality mouse. That's still overpriced to me. The 4k/8k is bad, so you're not getting value there. It's not 44grams, not even Attack Shark is crazy to give that weight. And the weight that it does have doesn't remotely stand out amongst the competition. The clicks are bad, the side clicks are bad. Stock skates aren't good, stop grips aren't good. Nothing about this mouse is quality other than the build quality. And build quality isn't really an issue with most mice on the market to begin with. This mouse offers nothing to justify buying it, even at $70 imo. The price is just jacked up by the magnesium, you're not getting tangible benefits from that at all.
@@Candyhands_ i just got it a couple days ago, the clicks are great in my opinion, almost 0 post travel, medium-light clicks which i prefer, the stock skates perform as well as tiger ice on my other mouse on my artisan pad, the stock grips i found to be perfectly fine compared to my btl/hotline grips (which cost me 5$ btw), with all that being said. again, the main attraction for me is all that quality, with the fact its 36 mm height, if you dont care about that feature, you wouldnt understand, its a 70$ mouse at this height, other mice in this category cost way more. (i got confused about the weight, it doesnt matter tho, its a sub 50g mouse and feels very good) to sum up, the clicks in my opinion are amazing and are light just like i like them, the grips and skates cost 10$ to replace (if you dont like them, which i do). the 4k/8k feels to me as good as my other 4k mice which have been touted as greatly implemented 4k. but, i cannot vouch for it until proper testing is done, all i have to go by is my comparison to other 4k, and the fact attack shark has had proper 4k on other mice already. perfect mouse for me!
@@Candyhands_ How is it low quality for 60$. I've bought so many 70-80$ mice, from name brands may I add, with much much worse quality. And if you are loosing bc of your mouse it's just a skillissue tbh. I some how manage to get insane games at 400 ms ping... it's quality, especially for it's category and price is simply great. Especially for the 60$ deals!!!
I would personally go with the R1 pro. The weight is functionally the same, you won't need mandatory grip tape on the sides, and the clicks are huanos which is better. The R1 has a more aggressive back hump akin to the X2, which may or may not be your cup of tea. But most people love that shape. The R3 doesn't tangibly offer any benefits other than having the 4k dongle included, which I wouldn't worry about too much.
they are different mice, the r1 is rear hump, the r3 is mid hump lower profile, it really depends on your experience and hand size, my experience with rear hump mice is pretty bad and they make my hand cramp, low profile mid hump mice are perfect for me (medium-small hands).
I'm loving my beast x mini. Wanting to spend a bit more time with it before I drop a review, because I'm doing a bit of experimenting with it. There are so many great mice at around $100, just none that are metal. But the material is just a means to an end.

The skates have protective film on them... hard to spot because it is clear.
I took them off. Took me like five minutes after unboxing to realize that at first, lol. First time falling for that.
That big hole top shell with solid base bottom, I have 3 cats and I know this mouse gonna be a fur magnet.
shocking
Damn, I even got the shocking!?
