Okay I need help with this. With this unit having tri color, how do I change the steady burn between the white/amber/red. Currently in a red steady burn and I would like white
are the tri-color mpowers capable of being used as auxiliary s/t/t lights and white steady burn as well as warning lights. looking for a product that has those functions to replace s recon tailgate bar that could be tied into my existing soundoff setuo
Hi Brian. You could use them as a steady-burn Red for a brake light and turn signal depending on how your OEM lighting works. You can then have the white over-ride with the second trigger wire for a work/reverse light. You unfortunately won't have the third function of a low-glow tail light.
SIRENNET are there any soundoff or whelen products on the market that are capable of doing all of the the above plus have a low glow or do I need to forget about that function all together ?
It doesn't seem to be an available option at this time. One of the I.T. team has been playing with this same idea for a custom rear bumper inset light and the running light keeps coming up short for the third function.
Its a different process then others use... But after a couple try's its pretty easy. After you've set each Mpower to your desired same pattern, turn on only one light and when its flashing, connect the white wire to the ground for roughly 3 seconds. The light will turn steady at full power, then switch to steady low, then to off and finally back to steady full output. As soon as it hits steady full, release the white wire from the ground. Your Mpower should now be set to alternate. Be sure that you then connect the green sync wires so the light heads are linked. If this doesn't get the alternating pattern display, do the same process again with the white wire to ground on the same light and that should kick it from simultaneous to alternate.
Unfortunately not. The HAW's are a SYNC where the mPOWER's are Soundoff's SYNC2. The SYNC2 covers the Mpower, NForce single, dual and tri-color products.
if I didnt have any of the lighting controllers would I be able to tie the flash pattern trigger wire into a momentary switch of some sort if the switch is grounded to my vehicle? Im assuming the white wire is already powered hence why it needs to be grounded to advance the pattern.
Correct and yes. The patterns are advanced via a momentary -12 volts. With the switch ground connected verse +12 volts, each tap would change the pattern 1 time.
SIRENNET ok, thanks for answering my question, im going to be looking at buying some of these at a later date. on a side note, I just recently ordered an SNSB2 switch box and was wondering how long it takes to process the order I ordered it on the 25th I cant remember what time and Havent received the E-mail with the freight charge quote yet and was wondering if it takes a few days to process as it was late at night when I ordered it. thanks in advance

Nice one
Can I have one mode BLUE, one mode RED/BLUE and a cruise mode?
Are there any plans for showcasing the mpower exterior lightbar?
There sure is.

How do you get 2 of these lightheads to alternate. The instructions included aren't very helpful

Can they be synced with SOS Undercover HAWs?
Unfortunately not. The HAW's are a SYNC where the mPOWER's are Soundoff's SYNC2. The SYNC2 covers the Mpower, NForce single, dual and tri-color products.
Are there any SYNC surface mount lights that would work with the Undercover heads?
The Ghost series light-heads from Soundoff will sync up.
Can the Ghost surface mount heads be mounted vertically?
They can. It's common to see them vertically mounted on the sides of push bumpers and on the back of SUV's.
