the casper is the Droste Effect, after a dutch cocoa tin that had the woman serving a tin of cocoa, featurnig a woman serving a tin of cocoa, ad infinitum. great visual. that boosts the value for aesthetics alone.

That was The Friendly Ghost ,Casper #1. Harvey rebooted Casper, The Friendly Ghost at #70 . They tweaked the title slightly and started at #1. They did the same with Little Audrey ,changing the title to Playful Little Audrey #1. Two nice FF Annual #1 within a month. That is something else.

fantastic four was ike the beatles. ever issue was a hit, every issue is a key issue from 1-100 practically. whereas batman at that time was really hit or miss, not all were key, and of course few had the artwork (did any have really good art?).
