i so wish the Partridge Family could invite me to come to live with them in there home until this Covid-19 Coronavirus is Finally all gone i would pack everything up,1:02😎🎸🍭🌠
Love this song!!!! For you die hard David fans, you might want to check out tape recordings by Elliot Mintz. David talks about his time with Meredith Baxter.
I felt so sorry for Susan Dey while David was singing this to Meredith. It broke her heart and sweet Shirley Jones kept looking over at Susan like a real mom would have to make sure she was ok.
@@robertspino521 I didn't read into this. Shirley Jones discussed it in an interview several years ago. I had to go back and rewatch this to see what Shirley was talking about. But obviously Robert, you have never been a teenage girl who is having to watch her biggest crush really crushing on someone else.
Stumbled on audio tapes recorded by Elliot Mintz (David’s neighbor) in I believe 1974. A lot of relevations about David’s personal life are revealed. First he discusses meeting a girl he calls culver city. At 13 years old she was three years older and had brothers 16 and 17
David did love meredith but when the kidnapping threats came out he had to leave her. The FBI scooped him up. By the time all was cleared up she had moved on . He admits it broke his heart.
Sorry for the previous comment . Rather than finish, pull up this interview on RUclips. It’s rather long but well worth the insights to his relationships with Meredith and Susan. Without naming Meredith per say (calling her Culver City) he admits being madly in love with her. So much so IMO it sabatoged any feelings he had for Susan.
He loved Meredith! He really loved her!
Classic!
This kind of music is special. It will never be duplicated or replicated. God Bless David Cassidy & Shirley Jones.

Wish this was available on Spotify. Only available on some crazy expensive obscure album.

Meredith Baxter in the crowd years before Family Ties...

👋👍
Classic re-write of the lyrics of the classic Faces song.
David Cassidy was also dating Meredith Baxter at the time before she married David Bernie.
Faces?
I want the bus!

I read that in his memoir it is too bad he could not alert her, but his life was at risk.
Of all the joints in all the World you had to walk into mine place 😂
Was this ever released on an album? I can’t find it on Spotify
It was released on an album called "David Cassidy's Partridge Family Favorites" and you can usually find it on Ebay.
What was rubin doing at the end😂
that is what i always wondered too
LOL looks like he was directing the 'fade out'.
HE WAS TELLING HIM TO END THE SONG. NO JOKE

5ourgang. Culver City code for Classy
I heard him talk about Meredith. But I don't recall his mentioning Susan Dey in that interview.
Awesome quazy cover of The Faces, “Oo La La”.
