Beautiful! Reminds me of Comfrey. Looks & seems to behave very similar. I'm just planning to get some to plant the first time. Thanks for sharing. Very satisfying & encouraging video. Best wishes.

I have some that is 6 years old and I've never dug any up. I'm going to finally dig some up this year in Sept. or Oct. I'm excited to try and make horseradish sauce.

I planted several tubers, I think it was summer or fall of 2020. I didn't dig last year and let them grow this year, and they have expanded. I dug two plants this week, and all of the roots are long and skinny, nothing of any usable size. Do you have any ideas on why they are getting any bigger? I was hoping to make some sauce this season. Thank you for the good video. Rhonda

So when is the best time to plant? I have some plants a friend of mine dug up right now. What should I do with them?

what is the reason to dig up horseradish with the letter 'R" in the month ? I have dug it up without the letter R, and didn't notice any difference ? is it hotter with the letter R ?

That ‘r’ rule means fall/winter so the plant grew at least a full season.

Do you have a recipe you can share with exactly how long you wait until you add the vinegar, how much vinegar to what amount of grated horseradish? I'd love to see how you do all stages :)

@@Oh-ou4lp yes you can eat. I collected some. Boiled for a couple of minutes or shredded and fried. A proper hit of horseradish 😊

@guyontheblackchair Hi 🙋🏻‍♀️ I was just wondering whether it flowers then goes to seed at it seems to have spread. I just thought about collecting the seeds and throwing them in m6 garden, but it seems to be a tuber so I don’t actually know 🤷🏻‍♀️
