What's to say about Vice City that hasn't been said? Already sixteen years old, but masterpieces don't age. Regretfully I hadn't played it but a little on PS2 since San Andreas was the GTA I was so occupied with at that time. The first time I played through all the story missions was the old all missions video that kicked my channel off from 20 subs to where it is now. That video is deleted now because of copyright and because of how badly I played then compared to this one. The mods/fixes really made this more enjoyable to play for me, I hope it does make it so watching for you! I used the widescreen fix, fps limiter fix, Silent's patch and the camera lock fix. This video includes all missions and side-missions required for 100% completion, no speed-ups and cuts this time except for in between missions from Demolition Man onwards and in-between collectibles, the only part I speeded up is Pole Position Club. Music (radio) was off after the severe weather warning, so I edited in the mission passed themes. I was so amazed on how different this game looked compared to the previous GTA games. The graphics and animation of this game was considered HQ at that time. How time flies.
Man, just once, JUST ONCE, I would like to see a longplay of Vice City on RUclips where they don't have to mute the radio for copyright reasons. Like, what does Google think is going to happen - is someone going to open this playthrough on their browser and then download the audio into a MP3 so they can hear snippets of Michael Jackson interspersed with gameplay sounds and NPCs screaming? This is a reupload because of copyright. A few years back you could get away even with 30 seconds of a song in a video sometimes, but now it detects from what it seems to me every song that's longer than 5 seconds in the video. Some songs that have dialogue over them it doesn't like Broken Wings in the beginning where I just had to do song removal for the end of the opening cutscene. As for "The Party" though it detected the whole boat cutscene where Out of Touch is playing, so I used song removal there too making the audio muffled, but sort of successfully removing the music.

I didn't wanna mute the cutscenes so I used Adobe Audition's music removal tool (doesn't remove the vocals or the drums though) and then it doesn't detect the music fortunately, but that's still risky since I know that it can detect music even if it's just vocals. But, I'll re-render and re-upload it again if needed. The problem now is this has been processing for a day and a half and it's still 360p...
Addition to that, technically you are allowed to use at least seven seconds of "copyright material..." ON THIS RUclips BS. But even then, the content ID system is aggressive regardless of that.

I was dying to play it, but I couldn't legally purchase it due to my age. My dad at the time was trying to quit chewing tobacco(he didn't really want to, but my mom was always complaining about it). I asked my dad if I could buy the game, and he said, "Son, there is no way IN HELL I'd buy that damn game. Your mom rides my ass about my snuff, do you really think I want to hear the hell that game would catch me?" I said, "but dad, all my friends are going to have it!" "No son, you know I wouldn't care, but your mom won't allow it." So here we are, driving home in our 1978 Oldsmobile and I am trying to think of what to do. Finally I said, "Dad?" "Yeah?"(Him) Me:"How long has it been since you had a good can of Skoal?" (Him) "Too damn long, that's for sure." My face grinning ear to ear, I said, "I'll buy you a whole roll of Skoal if you get me that game." The car instantly turned around and sped off to Wal-Mart. I played this when I was like 7 or 8 and I remember not knowing there were missions that you could do and that the map could be opened so go to places. I played it so much that I memorized the map and just went around with killing people and doing stunts with the cheat sheet under my keyboard. I wish I could go back to those days

During 5:26 to 5:43 there is a radio news going on which says that some bridges in Vice City will be closed because of weather problems . This is the reason we cannot go across the other island.
It's been so long since I've played Vice City that I thought it due to not completing a mission or hadn't had completed a certain percentage of the game. I remember running into a barricade trying to get to Starfish Island but can't remember if it due to the hurricane or I hadn't progressed enough in the game.
This one remains my favourite GTA. Besides being an awesome game overall, the 80s setting, the plot and the soundtrack make it absolutely unbeatable. I stopped playing videogames around 6 years ago, but if GTA6 will be set in Vice City again, I might consider buying a playstation 5...

I was only 6 years old when I first saw this game. My brother used to play it. And he was really good at it. My brother couldn't finish the game. Because of some problems in computer. When I turned 10, my brother started to play that game again. He let me play it too. I really liked the game. But the missions were hard for me. Back then I was only 10, I didn't understand anything. That time, it took me 1 hour to understand what is the mission about and then a another hour to finish the mission. I always watch my brother how he play. And then finally I improved. Me and my brother played that everyday. We finished this game 5 years ago. English is my third Language. So of course it's broken. 💔

I played this when I was like 7 or 8 and I remember not knowing there were missions that you could do and that the map could be opened so go to places. I played it so much that I memorized the map and just went around with killing people and doing stunts with the cheat sheet under my keyboard. I wish I could go back to those days

A Terrorist problem with GTA IV
It's been so long since I've played Vice City that I thought it due to not completing a mission or hadn't had completed a certain percentage of the game. I remember running into a barricade trying to get to Starfish Island but can't remember if it due to the hurricane or I hadn't progressed enough in the game.

No matter GTA SA, 4 or 5....vice city had such an impact in my childhood...it will always be one of my most favorite video game...
compared to gta vice city's release date (2002 ) there's a bigger time difference now (2019) than at the time the game was set (1986)

This one remains my favourite GTA. Besides being an awesome game overall, the 80s setting, the plot and the soundtrack make it absolutely unbeatable. I stopped playing videogames around 6 years ago, but if GTA6 will be set in Vice City again, I might consider buying a playstation 5...

I was only 6 years old when I first saw this game. My brother used to play it. And he was really good at it.
My brother couldn't finish the game. Because of some problems in computer. When I turned 10, my brother started to play that game again. He let me play it too. I really liked the game. But the missions were hard for me. Back then I was only 10, I didn't understand anything.
That time, it took me 1 hour to understand what is the mission about and then a another hour to finish the mission. I always watch my brother how he play.
And then finally I improved.
Me and my brother played that everyday. We finished this game 5 years ago.
English is my third Language.
So of course it's broken. 💔
