Facebook can store and sell personal data from all of it's users, but we can't do that to publicly available data. Double standards of corporations.

How's the course ? Does it clear thr fundamentals ? Is it worthy ?
In this course 4 topics are there so it will be confusing at the beginning. But after about 25% completion things will start to get clear. And one more thing you should be familiar with modern javascript, personality i was just Knowing the traditional javascript so it was bit difficult for me to grab those.

Scraping is not always prohibited. It's communicated through robots.txt

I wish I had seen this video before. Why I haven't never searched for this on RUclips? Right now I am really scared. I never scraped Facebook but other sites like movies and tv shows sites like IMDb etc, for learning purposes only. But even though I feel like if they decided to move any actions against me, even if I said it was for learning purposes they wouldn't give a damn about it.

Should be enough for a beginner... you can always train your models on the cloud. What matters is that you optimally utilse your system specs to train , get good at it and then diversify

The issue here is it wasn't a public site, you have to login to Facebook to get access to the data. They have been making site copies for longer than Facebook ever existed, but it was always public and the justification was backup software only did what your browser does and that is fetch pages to disk.
