Emma Steinbakken is a Norwegian singer from Jessheim. She has released the songs "Not Gonna Cry" and "Without You". She performed on Swedish and Norwegian television as a guest on Fredrik Skavlan's talk show Skavlan in 2019.

Generally there is a celebration of the "old man" (Bjørn Eidsvåg) career and everyone around the table is singing his songs and have their take on it. They can have a bit of fun with it.
Opprinnelig er programmet nederlandsk og heter "Beste zangers".
Bjørn Eidsvåg used to work as a priest for many years and is a devoted christian, I feel that this was really a spiritual experience for him. He also grew close to Emma in the making of this tv-series. They are staying together for over a week to film where they cover each other songs, everybody gets a day where they are celebrated with a cover of their songs. He said that Emma almost became like a granddaughter during the show. All artists are known in Norway and there is a mix between old and up and comming stars, and different genres. Bjørn Eidsvåg is a hall of famer around this table, and everybody looked up to him during this season of "hver gang vi møtes". (Everytime we meet) The show is based on the concept that they get to know each other with different activites, and they have a singing sessiong at lunch and a late dinner. We dont get to see the partying at night when they turn the cameras off, I bet that`s when the real magic happens. When these people get some wine and find a piano I bet there are some real amazing duets as well. I liked your entusiasm in this video, and Emma will probably be even more on the international radar in the future.

AThe face of the guy going "mmmmhmmhmm" is the original owner/signer, aka Bjørn Eidsvåg. And he is being very impressed, hence he's an icon in Norway.

You are correct. The song you heard is made by Bjørn Eidsvåg, and he made the song back in 2006.
The artists in this program makes the versions of each other songs and performs them. In this case Emma Steinbakken performed a "remix" of Bjørn Eidsvågs (old fella) song 'Floden'.
It must be added that Bjørn Eidsvaags original version is downbeat and carries a thoughtful expression throughout in comparison to this (admittedly absolutely glorious) version performed by Emma Steinbakken. He is famous for his meaningful lyrics, and he was recently celebrated very vividly by being ‘kidnapped’ for his own 70 years do with a grand TV show in front of a 5000 audience of which he’d had absolutely no clue beforehand. It is a superb concert with a beautiful, warm and unsuspecting main character.
I recommend you listen to Emilie Nicolas - Feel fine (preferred a live version). She is also a Norwegian artist.
