She’s so endearing and fascinating, it’s like listening to my gran I love it. Would lived to have heard more. RIP dear Liz. 🙏 What a sweet and adorable woman.
How sad that she spent her life thinking she wasn’t wanted in so many ways. I’m glad she enjoyed her ‘marvellous’ times. Darling woman. Bless her. She delighted me beyond belief in ‘Vicar of Dibley’ and for that I thank her.
I’ve enjoyed reading her bio, absolutely no self pity there, she was a survivor and kept going. I’m happy she succeeded with her acting and I enjoyed watching her perform
I've always loved Liz! She was a great actress who played an array of great characters! The fact she reminds me of my grandmother in both looks and personality is why I also loved her growing up.
I have only seen her as Grandma Georgina in the movie charlie and the chocolate factory (2005) and the housekeeper/date for bill Owen's character Compo in the last of the summer wine series 1 episode 4 titled "Compo's Suit" (1973). Rest in Peace Liz Smith.
Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by this actress . She didn't do many chat shows (something I really admire about her)! And I wasn't aware she drew. I intend to seek out her auto or isit biogs¿, at my local library.💘 The interview chappy is a good writer, but not so adept at interviewing people.
She also in Duchess of Duke Street. I watched this fantastic series on Britbox, here in Edmonton Alberta Canada. Only you Brits seem to be able to make extremely good shows.
An absolutely wonderful actress, so gifted, and a true star. She looks lovely wearing red, with shining hair, very glamorous.

I love this woman - she’s so funny, so sharp, so interesting - you could listen to her for days on end.

Extraordinary person, really quite young at heart, an original. Life made her original because it was hard for her.

A-GREAT LADY Liz Smith 💞🌟🌟🌟🌟

You have to watch "I Didn't Know You Cared" co star John Comer. Just fantastic!
