@@ramonalavigne8953 Thanks for your feedback Ali, it really helps me make better videos :) "Merci pour la bonne leçon" is correct but i'd say "merci pour cette bonne leçon" "ce sont toujours les meilleures" 😉 FYI "meilleures" feminine as "leçon" is feminine 😊
@@LearnFrenchwithLexie Well, I think it’s a nice way to learn and practice grammar, we have an idea about the most common words but always you will find something new!
ok...as of today [8 Feb 2024], this video has been the most help to me since starting to learn French last month. Big plusses: a) I've actually come across these words since last month, so I know that they're useful; b) The given word appears with a phonetic pronunciation, as well as it being repeated twice orally; c) The word is used contextually in a sentence, first slowly, then normally. It was through these sentences that I learned additional words; d) The given sentence is shown with it's English translation. For some reason, I've found French more difficult to learn than Spanish or German. I took some Russian long ago, but now I see that a lot of the words in Russian come directly from French, so maybe I'll try Russian again some day ! Thanks Lexie for all of your videos ! 🏃
Merci beaucoup Silver! Il y a tout une playlist avec des vidéos dans ce genre là: 100 noms, 100 verbes, 100 adverbes. Le lien de la playlist: ruclips.net/video/MDZyqoNScuo/видео.html Et 100 adjectives va sortir dans quelques jours, mais c'est un secret ! 🤫😉
This really helps with pronunciation. I was au pair in Paris (long time ago)and returned finding it difficult to speak. Next time, before returning, I listened/repeated to tapes I copied from university language lab. I was told I sounded just like when I had left after my 5 months au pair stay.
Thanks! Speech shadowing is an effective technique to improve your speaking skills. Would you like me to do more videos like this one on a specific vocabulary topic like clothing, food...?
