I watched your video and found it very well done, easy to follow and easy to see. As for the ones who left negative feedback, just ignore them. It has been my experience that there are some people in this world who would not be satisfied even if you came into their home and did the work for them. :)

I love the way you slip stitch all the way up the center. I'm going to do that from now on. Thank very much for your teaching me something new. ;)

THANK YOU!!! I was reading the original work and the 'skip 3st' at the beginning of the new row made *no* sense to me, as I am using to modern instructions. I had no idea that it was actually a picot!!! :D You're a dear for sharing, thank you again!

i have seen several video's of this leaf and there is only 2 that i find are the best, Yours and the one from lacefromireland video's . yours is simple easy and very clear to watch, I was doing this leaf from the book but was putting double crochet loops instead of sc and it didn't turn out the way yours shows. Again Thank you. cant wait to see more videos from you. dont let put downs steal your thunder. GREAT VIDEO. AND IF PEOPLE CANT SEE THE THREAD THEY NEED GLASSES(i HAVE LEVEL 4 CATARACTS AND I SAW IT JUST FINE EVEN WITHOUT MY GLASSES.). AS FAR AS SIZE THREAD AND HOOK USED, ITS ACCORDING TO TASTE,

You've inspired me to get back to my projects which were put on hold while I moved--most of them are with very fine thread and 00 or 000 hooks. Thank you for the inspiration! By the way, I don't recall the Priscilla book specifying the slip stitch up the central portion of the leaf at the end--is that you're own variation? I think it's very clever wherever it came from.

Heads up: when doing a tutorial, it's best to use big, chunky yarn (that you can later unwind) so your viewers don't melt their eyeballs and retinas trying to decipher what you are doing.
Kudos on the short nails though. Am getting bored of the manicured long nails that cover everything.

make the screen larger, it does make it clearer. I couldn't see it when the screen was regular.

WARNING TO CROCHETERS: Written instructions are wrong. They do not give the correct instructions for the movements performed by the person who produced this video. To make it even worse, THERE ARE NO VERBAL INSTRUCTIONS - just some annoying, unnecessary music. I am moving on to different producer, in hopes of getting some real help.

    • @wdeckj6310

I'm late to the party here. The end result was great but at the risk of being a meany Jeannie I agree the instructions were incorrect which caused me to stop watching. This will definitely confuse a beginner. I can see the work but I'm experienced. Perhaps one could say "1 sc in each of the next 7 stitches" for example. Just a thought. I appreciated the music though. Most videos have the same very irritating music.
