I bowl in the south and I just ordered these, the approaches here in the summer are very sticky, I need all the slide I can get as I'm a bigger guy, with little to no slide my knee ends up killing me the next day. I got the slickest inserts for these. Hopefully it helps
Does your heel SLIP OUT/up from the shoe while bowling/throwing? Ive been trying on diff shoes with these BOA systems and my heel always slips up/out of the shoe too much for my comfort. I think good old Lace up shoes are better. I can get them tighter and my heel doesnt slip out of the shoe! Yes I have the correct shoe size on my feet.
I love the BOA. With these shoes I did need to get inserts to fill some extra space since they came a little big. Anthony did not have this problem, but I did. I will, every once in a while, give a couple of extra clicks while I’m bowling. - KH
I just got the shoe but am trying to figure out the on getting done replacement soles just in case.. so the s7 that it came with is normal and the s6 is less slide and the s8 is more slide? What can you tell me about the heels
You are right, the higher the number, the more slide. Same goes for the heel. I (KH) have found the medium soles tend to work most everywhere for me. However, I do struggle on synthetic approaches.
I am a lefty as well and have the exact same approach and slide as you. What slide and sole do you have on each shoe? I just purchased the C9s and they are on the way. How were the soles and slides when you unboxed? Were they already fitted on the shoes assuming a right-hander, and you had to switch them? My recurring issue with bowling shoes is finding that middle sweet spot for slide. I am either unstable on the release because of too much slide (on my right foot slide), or unstable on the release because of to much brake (on my right foot slide and heel). Thanks for posting this!
These slide soles are made specifically for these shoes. If you order C9 slide soles, they will fit and work. If you order slides for anything else, they will not. Thanks for watching!
Great question. This is Kyle (not the guy in the video) and I’ve been bowling with these shoes for about a month now. They are definitely heavier than some of the lightweight shoes out there. They also run hot. And for me, they ran a half size too big. Something I did to fix the heat and size issue was buying cooling inserts. They slide nice and the BOA system is great, but I’m not sure I would buy them again. Especially since they are so expensive and charge for every extra sole and heal.
@@DownLaneBowling Thanks for ur reply. Sorry I'm replying 2 years later lol. Anyways I have strike force shoes but was hoping someone makes a comparison video between those light tennis shoes feeling shoes vs Dexter top of the line n also 3g shoes.
Sweet...makes mine look so old...the toe guard is cool....I use the same sole #s....good review.
Thanks for watch and the nice feedback!
Anthony I learn something new about you every show! Your a lefty like me! Ed W

Is the replacement sole used for both righty and lefty? Looks like it’s used for both…
That’s correct!

In the heel they are wide like the sst6? Or are more similar like the9 model? Like more borrow on the heel.?
Nice video.
Hi Mario, thank you for watching! They are very similar to the 9 Model.
What about the "peel" that happens in the slide sole, they solve the problem? Cuz I switch from the 9 to a sst6 for the peel on the sole.
Check out 55 seconds. Anthony describes how the interchangeable soles have the locking toe caps to prevent the sole from peeling under the foot.
I was asking about the peel cuz it happens to me on the 9 model.
But I have another question...
where did the get the separate slide sole? i am scared to order extras because of the toe guard. i dont know if it comes with it or not

One question. How do they run in foot size? Like do the shoes run big, small, or they more true to the foot size?
They are just about true to size. Thanks for watching!
are these heavy n bulky or light like hammer force and other strike force recent shoes

Do they run big or true to size?
They are very close to true to size.
@@DownLaneBowling Thanks! Put in a order right after your reply!
