@@Kstyleyo thank you sm!! ^^
Hi. Thank you for your explanation. I was wondering if you knew why there are those two vowels still now while only one could suffice since even Koreans without context would mistake the sound of them? I know some other letters have disappeared from the Korean alphabet is there a discussion about simplifying it about those two?
In French we have a lot of letters combinaisons to pronunce the sound "é" : ai, et, er, est, ae, é, è, ê and the variations of those sounds are very little sometimes and the orthograph very influenced by other languages (ae comes from the Greek for example). Your analogy was good about marry,Mary and merry even if the French way of pronouncing each of them permit us to distinguish them easily ^^ Merry > begins like the sound of a sheep Mehhhhrry. Mary like the month May and Marry like Massala ( Full French A sound or like the last song of Shinee XD)
Korean would say Maeli keulisseumasseu I guess since like Japaneses they don't like pronouncing two consonants in a row :
매리 크리스마스 ? Google trad says 메리 instead after checking it XD
Wow thanks for sharing the info about french. Very interesting! I haven't heard any discussion about combining those two vowels. I personally think that won't simply things but to make more confusion as words with ㅔ and ㅐ have different meanings. 메리 크리스마스 ^^
@@Kstyleyo thank you for your reply ^^. Have a good end of the year!
