      It was worth the wait. Also had some great communication from your staff before buying, and when I had an issue post ordering. All ended positive 👍🏿

      @@blackcyclist I'm going to the Bristol store, it's only 45 minutes away from me. I'll give you a mention in there because I've been really undecided about which bike to get and your revue made my mind up

    Nice bike. I ordered a Ribble with Ultegra components the only problem was they kept delaying my build. I live in the states so I couldn't walk in a shop and buy one.

      That can be frustrating. I love this bike but I can't say that I've had a 100% smooth process ordering this bike, & my latest order. But they do eventually get things sorted. I like the live chat feature

    Looks like you went over some gravel or a towpath - how did it do/were you worried about the tires puncturing? I’m looking for an all road bike and this caught my eye.

    • @blackcyclist
      @blackcyclist  Год назад

      2:26 ? This was at Bosworth Park, very very light gravel shared path. No issues, no fear of punctures. Only ever had punctures on city road (other bike). I'd say fine for terrain like this, but I wouldn't be comfortable taking it on forest trails or anything muddy, not unless I swapped out the tyre. But....I have a great gravel bike for those occasions 😄.
      Maybe look towards getting a gravel bike instead. Gives you more options and even more fun.
      Thanks for watching and commenting ❤

    Concerns me that you are 5ft 9 and gone for large, whereas, I am 5ft 10 and been recommended medium??

    • @blackcyclist
      @blackcyclist  5 месяцев назад +1

      I hear you, my height puts me on the line between M & L. Based on that I spoke to the online live chat & was advised go for the L. Most my other bikes are L, also, minor seat or stem adjustments can be fine tuned.
      Did you end up going for the M?

    • @FCSPVinobox
      @FCSPVinobox 5 месяцев назад +1

      Not yet. Its literally in my basket, ready to hit buy pretty much! Exact same bike as you, same colour and everything. I was going to opt for the level 5 integrated cockpit but I feel like that would make it less endurance bike and more race. Whereas, if I get the carbon bars upgrade at £120 then at least I've got ability to adjust and suit. Great review btw!

      @@FCSPVinobox cheers😁. If you're near a store, you could try one for size.
      I've just received the GCR & have the Level 5 handlebars on that, it looks amazing without any cables showing. But yes I hear you. New review coming soon (unboxing in my live videos replays)
